• Contained a nice Flannigan's restaurant.
• Very musty, damp room.

“It's ok if your expectations are not too high. The price was relatively ok for what I received in the area I visited.”

• The check in clerk was the reason we enjoyed our stay there. She was friendly and helpful.
• The gathering of people in the parking lot.

“My 7th stay here was good. The friendly service made up for any lack in room quality.”

• The only thing I liked was a place to sleep at night.
• Old, outdated, not very clean, broken ice machine.

“With nonsmoking vacancies (I asked housekeeping the next morning) why did the manager charge us 20 dollars more than we had agreed upon for a nonsmoking room.”

• Not far from Downtown.
• No one would like bed bugs in the bed or very strong smoking smell.

“I had worst experience in this hotel ever, first room that I got had Bed bugs in the bed, I got bitten. After I've complained to the front desk employee, I was placed in smoking room with awful smell.”

• It served its purpose of staying a couple nights.
• Room smelled of smoke bad. Did not feel clean. Felt like a cheap motel.

“For being a Howard Johnson's it was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. The Amerisuites in Orlando which was an excellent stay great staff, nice clean rooms not dingy or smelly like this one was.”

• Had a musty smell.

“For the money. It was a good deal. Large rooms, beds comfortable as many hotels in south Florida, it had a musty smell. I would stay there again.”

• Cockroaches, bldg not secured, sinks-no stopper in drain, blankets smelled of body odor.

“Fellow at front desk tried to kill cockroach (huge) but it got away so he moved our room. The next room was as bad as the first without cockroach this time.”

• Everything. Rude managers, dirty housekeepers, no towels no clean linens awful people because they don't like low paying guests.

“I did not like the fact that gentleman was so rude I was traveling on business and became ill the day earlier and when I arrived for my short stay I had worked all day and was not feeling well I had 4 or 5 bags the hotel was empty and the attendant put me on the 2nd floor I explained my situation but he gave me the room on the second floor and the elevator was also not working.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean.
• Old motel. Needs updating. Rusty doors, cheap pillows.

“I did not get an excellent price for this trip. I found out later that if I had called the hotel directly I could have received the same price. There are very limited resources in this area. There were several of us all traveling to the same event and I recommended the motel to others. I was a bit embarrassed. The front desk staff was great. They were friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. The room was clean but obviously old.”

• No fridge and microwave in room.

“The daytime front desk manager was awesome! He was very personable, funny, informative and a delight to say good morning and good evening to! It would have been nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. I had everything else I needed and enjoyed my stay. Staying as a single woman, I felt safe and secure. Loved the restaurant and food it provided. Will always stay here when in town.”

• Convenient to all points of interest in Stuart.
• Shoddy room with real bad tobacco odor and uncomfortable beds. The air condition did not work at all.

“Would not stay at this hotel again if I can help it, as the atmosphere was dreary and the room horrible and hot as the air conditioning unit did not work. The staff was courteous and friendly and very helpful which was the high point of my stay.”

• Location only.
• Very old, dark, depressing, over-priced.

“I thought for the price this hotel wasn't up to standard. The grounds were pretty clean, the furniture was old, the room dark, no fridge or micro provided. Bathroom was grubby. Disappointing in all regards with exception of location. The price was way too high for the caliber.”

• Walking up The stairs.

• Easy access to other ammenities; good location
• Appears to need some remodeling; only 1 washer/dryer

“Offers a good location to area restaurants and shopping, as well as main highways going north and south. However, the grounds appear in need fo updating, painting, etc.”
