• No hot water on first nights stay. Affected entire hotel according to staff.

“Hotel was great except for the fact that on the our first nights stay, there was an issue with the hot water. We needed to go out and needed to take showers but the water was barely above room temperature. It was not a pleasant experience. When asked to transfer to another room, I was told that it affected the entire hotel. I would have thought that they would have at least offered me a free night's stay but all I got was an apology.”

• two sisters restaurant was aweful for breakfast. No one in my party of 6 liked their entree

“This Hotel is Amazing! It is quality at its best! The location is fantastic;in wakling distance to Miracle Mile where all the action is. Excellent Customer Service and the POOL was awesome! A great view outside to boot. Great Happy hour. This hotel is family friendly and a great romantic getaway! Loved it!”

• The pool area was outstanding has a sauna and hot tub as well relaxing.
• There is parking but in addition to whatever expense you pay to stay at the hotel the minimum for parking for a day is $16.00.

“This hotel is very relaxing the pool and hot tub were very clean. Room service and in room movies are rather expensive (about $15 per movie). Perfect place to stay if you don't choose to stay right in the heart of Miami.”

• Nice pool.
• Not much to do in the area.

“The hotel is clean and the staff was friendly. However, I did not like the area (even the restaurants and bars close by were closed most of our stay). They charged $21/day for valet parking and $16/day for self-parking. They also charged for internet per day.”

• The old-world elegance, the spacious room, the updated bathroom, the pool.
• They had not replenished our bar or cleaned out the ice bucket. Unappealing restaurant.

• The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, nice and comfortable.

“This hotel was at the top. The valet staff even did little things that were so helpful, like going back out to my car to get my glasses, helping me get my medicines out later that night when I realized I'd forgotten them in the car. The bellman was fast to call down for us to get a roll-away and it was there in no time. The roll-away was as comfortable as the king bed, which was wonderful.”

• Location is great for those visiting Miami and are not staying at beach.

• The bed was comfortable.
• Internet access should be free as well as self parking!

“I found the hotel stuffy, as in like that old world charm people talk about. The room was clean however the new carpet smell was overwhelming and had to move rooms, which the front desk did not want to accommodate at first request. I feel internet access and self parking should be free as well. The work out room seemed to be an after-thought shoved into a corner in an old closet.”

• Large and spacious and clearly kept in top notch condition.
• Terrible internet connection which prevented my work from being done properly.

“Although a lovely space and a well-meaning staff was clearly aplenty, the knowledge of a simple thing, like how to ensure a consistent connection to the internet, was impossible.
I was knocked off the hotel's wireless service constantly and there was no proper service to allow internet connection by cable/DSL. As a business traveler this will prevent me from ever staying at this hotel, or the Hyatt regency chain again.”
