• Beautiful suite and upscale decorated lobby.
• Hotel is incorporated into an abandoned mall.

“The hotel was nicely decorated, surprisingly busy but we never had to wait. At one time it was connected to a mall on three sides, but the mall has been shut down or abandoned for years.”

• Clean hotel. Nicely kept, friendly staff.
• The hotel is located in a closed out mall.

“This is overall a very nice hotel, and very budget friendly. Once upon a time it was the hotel in the area, however since the high end mall it is located in has gone out of business, the hotel has fallen out of fashion. All that said, it is well maintained and worth the money.”

• Large suites with fridge, micro, wetbar and upscale amenaties.
• Jaccuzzi wasn't working.

“This hotel is convenient to interstates and the turnpike. The rooms are extra large suites and very well appointed with fridge, microwave, wetbar and a nice pool area. It seems nicer than a 3 1/2 star because the rooms are so comfortable. I have stayed at this hotel several times and have never been dissappointed with the room.”

• I love the suite, beautiful room.
• I did not like the bed that much for such a nice hotel.

“Great hotel the bed is not up to Sheraton or Starwood quality, but the room was great and I love the bathroom which had a Jacuzzi tub. I did not dine at the hotel.”

“I love this hotel. I forgot my earrings after checkout. I called the front desk. The cleaning staff found my earrings and turned them in. I love the Sheraton Hotel Chain. Love it.”

• From 8:30 am until we checked out at noon, there was a constant banging.

“When I called the front desk about the banging, they told me we will look into it. Nothing was done, not a phone call. When we
went
to the elevator in the lobby, the banging was coming from a room right next to the lobby. They responded by saying that they didn't realize that the
loud music (if you can call it music) was making it to the 3rd floor. Very disappointed.”

• Too many people in the lobby.

“The hotel was very nice. The staff and the top floor pool were nice as well. There were however, too many people wandering the lobby due to some church service that is held in the hotel conference rooms. Overall it was a good stay.”

• Room set up was family friendly.
• The bartender was rude and left the bar area frequently.

“Everything about this hotel was top notch except our experience in the bar. The female bartender was rude and she did not stay in the bar area. We along with other guests often had to wait 5 to 7 minutes to get a drink due to her walking around the building or on a break. We left the bar area to go to the store and buy beer to watch the game we were watching in our room because of the lack of service.”

• The rooftop pool and Jacuzzi were awesome! I loved the beautiful glowing fountain in the courtyard.
• I loved everything about this beautiful hotel!

“The hotel was conveniently located near the Saw grass Mills Mall. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and always replied with "my pleasure." The rooftop pool and Jacuzzi were amazing. It was very neat and clean. The king size bed was comfortable and cozy. They offered us a handicapped bathroom for my grandmother. The outside courtyard had a large fountain that glowed at night. I would definitely come back and stay again!”

“This hotel was great! There are a lot of complaints about the closed mall behind the hotel. This is probably the worst thing about the hotel, but that is only because everything else is so great. My only regret about staying at this hotel is that we could not stay longer.”

• Room 216 was pretty far from the elevator.

• Some of the outside fountains were not running.

“Once you get past the outside appearance of the hotel you will not be disappointed. The hallways are narrow and dingy. The room was clean and wonderful. The roof top pool was clean and the view fantastic.”

• The accommodations.
• The toilet did not work and flooded.

“I like that there were 2 TVs so the children could watch their own stuff. I did not like that the toilet was not working. However the hotel maintenance people came and took care of it right away and also the housekeeper gave us extra towels after the mess!”

• Cups in room were not sanitized; rather, between uses the maid washed them out using the room sink. Liability issue for hotel in the event of a communication.

• The decor of the rooms was really nice.
• They charge $6 for the use of the beverage center in the room.

“The Sheraton suites plantation is located attached to a shopping center that looks closed up. It is not a very nice setting. I felt uncomfortable walking to my car at night. It is located on a busy highway with excellent access to the Florida turnpike and 95. It took us 20 minutes to get there from the fort Lauderdale airport. The rooms are really nice. They look newly renovated and the decor is modern and comfortable in tones of beige with rust accents and soft white sheets. The bedroom is separated from the sitting area with white shuttered pocket doors and the room comes with two TV sets in the rooms and two sinks in the bathroom which makes it perfect for families. I didn¿t care for getting hit with the $6 charge for the convenience bar. (Sink, microwave & small refrigerator, coffee maker) but it was nice to have it there to store soft drinks and snacks.”

• Very comfortable and clean.
• The fire alarm blinks all night and noisy staff was loudly cleaning above us and tried to get us out by 9 am, not 12.

“Overall, the room and was clean, nice and comfortable. The fire alarm does blink all night, so it's annoying. The worst part was the fact that the staff was knocking at our door at 9 am to clean! Check-out wasn't until noon! They were also super loud above us (dropping loud objects), cleaning (we think). So, we weren't sure if they were doing it on purpose to get us to leave.”
