• Being close to everything & especially the south beach.
• Surprised it did not have enough safety deposit boxes. Some Embassy suites I've earlier stayed at had room safety boxes.

• Beautiful plants and pool area.
• Needed a more casual restaurant, maybe a coffee/drink stand as where you could take a drink to the pool. In addition to the restaurant available.

“Beautiful atrium hotel with lots of plants, light, and a pond and stream with fish. Gorgeous pool garden area. Nice free breakfast with daily free drinks at 5-7. Great room with separate living area and kitchen. So comfy.”

• Everything about this hotel is very nice.
• The hotel had $30 for internet and parking.

“Everything is very nice. The free shuttle to local restaurants is great. I would not want to be on-foot in that neighborhood. Hotel staff was great. Very helpful.”

• The size of the rooms are great.
• The parking.

“The best thing about the hotel was the size of the rooms. They were very big rooms, plenty of space. View was not that great I had a strip club about three blocks away with flashing neon lights. Good thing the Drapes block out the light. I called the front desk three times and no one picked up the phone, I had to go down stairs to speak to someone at the front desk.”

• The in house bar attendent stole my credit card and used it .

“This hotel was a nice hotel with a good location close to the airport which meet my purposes. However the in house bar attendent stole my credit card and used it for 2 days before I realized it was gone.”

• Breakfast buffet.
• Room smelled like Lysol spray and mold. Restaurant was very long wait, was not busy either.

“Our room smelled like mold and Lysol spray. We arrived at 8 in the evening, kids were starved. The restaurant was not busy and took forever. Waitress never checked on us, no refills, no explanations, ignored. Brought our food which was good, ignored again had to wait forever to get check. Sent the family on up stairs while I waited. Breakfast buffet was fine.”

• It was conveniently located and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable.
• The outside could use a little work and the hot tub as well, it was not functioning correctly.

• We opened the door of another room by accident with our key.

“It's a nice hotel with big and comfortable rooms. It's clean. Has a nice breakfast buffet. Also, has a happy hour but we didn't have time to go to it. The staff was very friendly.”

• Granite counters, flat screen TVs, and King size bed were added bonuses and outstanding.
• They charged us Ten dollars extra so we could park our car in the hotel parking lot.

“Once we got past the extra ten dollars they asked for so we could park our car in the hotel parking lot, everything else was wonderful. The entrance and courtyard to the Embassy Suites was outstanding and lovely with the waterfalls and trees and cafe candlelight dining. We were very impressed. Our room was decent with many bonuses and details including granite counters, 3 sinks, bar fridge, 2 flat screen TV's, King Size bed with feather top mattress pad, and elegant dark hardwood furniture. In the morning, a newspaper was waiting at our front door, and we were treated to a complimentary full course breakfast downstairs. The service was friendly, the atmosphere romantic and inviting. Over all, we received much more than we expected with Embassy Suites. We will definitely be visiting there again.”

“I was pleasantly surprised, given the star rating. There werent a lot of things to do nearby. However, my stay was I was more short and for business purposes. Therefore, I was more interested in the comfort of the facility, which I considered very nice and calming. Given it's proximity to the airport, planes can be heard when the patio doors are open. However, when closed, you hear nothing.”

• The hotel had a charming courtyard, with many singing birds, and a lavish garden.
• It was very close to the airport, and I could hear the planes taking off every few minutes.

“The staff wasn't friendly at all. I was quoted 1 price and reserved the room on line when arrived the room was more. The staff including the manger on duty that night was awful. Didn't care about what you was saying walked away while I was asking question about how did that happen. Also we went out came back our room door was open. I told staff and someone was there and there was someone else's message left in the room and no one really cared or got back to us. I would not recommend this hotel to know one.”

• Wi-fi was not free.

“Location! Embassy Suites Miami Airport is all about convenience, whether traveling for pleasure or business, this hotel's location and above average level of service and amenities are sure to please. With easy access to the airport (including complementary shuttle service) and freeways, this hotel is just minutes away from numerous attractions and Miami's business centers. The only low-light was the wife service. Many hotels with less expensive rooms offer this service for free, whereas Embassy Suites (at least this location) does not.”

• The rooms were clean and spacious.
• There was a moldy smell in the first room they gave me.

“The hotel was very convenient, because it was close to the airport and only 15 minutes from South Beach. The free breakfast and free Happy Hour was awesome. The only problem I had was, a moldy smell in the first room they gave me, but they immediately moved me to another room.”

• The spaciousness of the rooms.
• The temperature in Miami can dip into the 50's or lower - the room had NO heat the building had NO heat - whatsoever.

“Too good to be true was the first impression - the rooms were beautiful the hotel very nice. The restaurant did not serve quality food. I complained about the articoke dip and I heard the waitress screaming to the large chef who did no use plastic gloves and was wiping his face and handling food, they tried the dip my daughter and I ate from which I thought was disgusting - it was just ugly behavior. Around 11:00 pm I awoke and turned up the heat to 80 at 1:00 I awoke to a freezing room and called the front desk who told me to turn off the air because the building was not built with heating. At that time the temp in the room was 61 degrees and I had no extra blankets.”

• The rooms have been recently refurbished and are very nice and comfortable.
• Toilets apparently were not replaced. Ours barely flushed and rocked when sat on.

“Big improvement over our last stay here which was before the room renovations. Rooms are pretty, comfortable and clean. Free breakfast is a plus, but not as extensive as it used to be. Still very acceptable.”

• The hotel has a free cocktail time from 1730 to 1930.
• The gym was clean but could use a couple more weight machines.

“The Hotel was very accommodating. I came in from Argentina early in the morning and they let me come over early. By the time I had breakfast my room was ready. Since I had to fly out that night I was so grateful for the extra sleep I got.”

“The decor is somewhat chintzy, but all rooms are quite large suites which were very nice. Good facilities (workout room, large pool area, garden like atrium). Restaurant was rather pricey with very average service. The full breakfast was excellent, make sure to go early as the lines get very long. Great value for families, and there were a lot of them. The hotel is somewhat isolated with not a lot immediately around it. Overall, a very nice place to stay if you have transportation.”

• The sheets were found to be dirty or stained; this was notice to late to complain.

“Embassy is under renovation and therefore services and rooms not up to speed. Beware the hidden fees for parking and internet access. And be prepared to be insulted when going to complimentary breakfast instead of regulating the inflow, the hotel staff will approach you after going into the dining area and challenge you on your right to the breakfast.”

• Staff was great, guest's were well taken care of, made it an enjoyable stay.
• There was a ten dollar charge for guest parking, that we were not aware of.

“The staff was outstanding and granted several of my requests for room selection. The room was clean and well stocked, and the overall presentation of the facilities was very good. We will make it a point to stay at this location again when traveling Miami.”

• That breakfast started late, I had to leave for a flight before they started serving.

• Bath dirty, toilet shaky, half of elevators not working.

“Over the years I have used Embassy Suites hotels, this one was without a doubt the worst. How can one rest when the fire alarm (false) keeps going off. When the toilet in the room above us was flushed it sounded as if it was in our room. I hope this facility is an exception to Embassy Suites properties.”

• Smell in room - but got fixed so everything was okay.
