• The location was excellent.
• Run down feeling when you stepped in elevator and room.

“The hotel is conveniently located, however, the room smelled musty when we entered. The beds were comfortable but the hallways were trashy, smelled and needed desperate cleaning. Not much of a view in the hotel but staff was extremely friendly and compensated us (free buffet breakfast) when the elevator didn't work and my husband had to walk down the stairs to get it to open on another floor to come to the second to get our luggage and me (I use a cane).A little disappointed at overall condition of place.”

• The hotel was conveniently located to the places we needed to visit around Miami.
• The traffic was really heavy when trying to leave out of hotel parking lot.

“Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and the beds were very comfy.”

• The price was right .
• The elevator shook and squealed which freaked me out

• Bed & Pillows.
• Old TV; no screen on patio door.

“Hotel room clean, recently remodeled and bed good. Bathroom was very small. No screen on patio door and with Niles virus in that area makes it a health hazard. Parking lot difficult to go in/out as restricted access. Security guard okay for parking area.”

• Location, pool.
• Carpentry, door not well set light all around and crooked.

“Centrally located, pleasant physical setting, fairly quiet and clean with all the amenities one would want. I think the housekeeping staff is under-manned but friendly.”

• Pleased with room. Was very happy it had free internet. I have a business that I was able to continue while traveling via my computer.
• Would like more info on attractions. All the brochures were for other cities, not Miami.

“The bathroom was okay, but had some cracks and dirt on floor. The rest of the room was very nice, excellent in fact.”

• Lobby area and hotel bar seemed very nice.
• Room was in poor condition and floor was damp in spots, needs updating badly.

“The general area of the hotel is quite nice and updated, particularly the bar area. However, we were placed in a room that was handicap accessible, with holes in the wall were equipment had been moved. The carpet was wet and stained in the room and the shower flooded the floor in the bathroom. The TV was very small and older and the AC/heating until gave off a terrible smell when we turned it on.”

• Convenient location.
• Do not like having to pull out onto Route 1. Hotel hallway rugs are filthy.

• Chicken Tender Salad in restaurant is excellent.
• Hard bed with loud A/C. I did not sleep well.

“Good location, decent food, nice staff. Very limited TV channel selection and you can only make coffee one cup at a time. It met our needs for a one night stay.”

• The location was wonderful! So convenient to everything!
• The elevator was broken and housekeeping was okay, but not great.

“We really enjoyed our stay. We had children with us and the pool was fun as well as the park across the street. We were really close to several golf courses and not a far drive from the beach. The front desk was very knowledgeable and was able to give us directions to everything we asked. We will definitely stay again if we have another occasion to be in coral gables (which by the way is the most gorgeous city).”

• They had a lot of cable channels to choose from.
• It wasn't near anything.

“The hotel was okay, we were under the impression that since it was close to the university, it would be near other attractions or places to go, things to do. It wasn't.”

• They let us have a late check out.
• As soon as we walked in the security guard was rude telling us not to use his valet cart for our luggage.

“We don't have much to say about it other than it being very average. This time we didn't save anything! Very upsetting!”
