  • Loved the walkway out to the Gazebo on the lake, very pretty.
  • No bellman to take luggage down in morning. They didn't answer the phone.

“Quiet, even with the planes. Nice views. Very pretty grounds, with music playing. Lovely pool area. Nice choices for food available, not expensive. Overall, we would certainly stay here again for an overnight or even two nights. Fast shuttle from airport.”

  • Halls corners were dirty no way to get a hold of shuttle.

“Along the halls on the side were dirty not vacuumed to get change you had to walk forever. At the airport no one knew how to get a hold of the shuttle to go to the hotel. And there was to be a buffet, and was not and the biscuits and gravy was horrid but breakfast was good.”

  • Clean, updated, very comfortable, very accommodating.
  • It was a zoo of travelers.

“The zoo of people in lobby gave way to an extra attentive staff, a Junior suite with huge tub, mini kitchen, living room, and king bed with tons of pillows, luxuriously furnished, an excellent roll away quickly and cheerfully supplied for teenage son. Posh amenities and tons of nice extras like boarding passes for flight.”

  • Arrangements for the shuttle to port -bus were 35 min late.

  • Convenient to Miami airport.
  • Overpriced food and very poor service in restaurant and lobby bar.

“Not as nice as I would have expected for 4 star hotel. Escalator not working, elevators crowded and very slow. Bathroom clean but in need of touch up work, i.e. grout work, paint touch ups etc. Room adequate, nothing special.”

  • I like nothing about this hotel.
  • Bad location and in the crappy condition.

“This hotel is terribly old and the girl in the reception is horribly rude too. The whole room felt crappy and in the torn condition. Plus they charge for parking, and the overall surrounding area make you felt insecure.”

  • View of the lagoon with walking path and outdoor hot tub.
  • The pool was closed for resurfacing. The dust from this activity was bothersome as well.

“They met our request for an early check-in and king size bed with no difficulty. The outdoor leisure area was wonderful despite the pool being closed for resurfacing. It would have been nice to have the outdoor bar open for drinks regardless of the pool being closed though. The food at the restaurant lacked a little flavor on the first night, however the Christmas meal with turkey and trimmings was spectacular. I believe that this up and down in cuisine would be due to the holiday staff which changed each day. Note the breakfast buffet is slightly overpriced at 18$/person. The service in the restaurant and at the reception desk was excellent and the staff did indeed go out of their way to answer/satisfy each request.”

  • Worst carpeting we have seen & NO venting in bathroom. Terrible coffee.

  • The check in staff, the beds were great.
  • The buffet was very expensive and the food looked great but tasted awful.

“The hotel's pool wasn't working and we had to use another pool at a resort that required a taxi ride - which is a shame on the week of Christmas in Miami. Otherwise, it was grand in appearance and the staff was very accommodating. The room was very nice and the attention to sleep was second to none (bed comfort, down pillows, room darkening drapes) The quality of the food served at the buffet was disappointing, especially for the price.”

  • Not very fancy, average hotel, too expensive for what you get.

“This was a nice hotel, clean w/ comfortable rooms, but for a 4 star hotel, it did not live up to it. They didn't even offer 2 queen beds. The bedding was nice and the staff was nice, but it was just average. Nothing to rave about. I expected a little more for a Hilton and you had to pay extra for everything, including the mini fridge in the room.”

  • Older hotel, bathroom could use a remodel.

“This was a nice hotel, comfortable and clean. They did not have any rooms left with double beds so we got a king with a rollaway bed for our 3 year old and a crib for the baby. It made it a little crowded, but not too bad and we enjoyed the comfortable bed and sheets. Room service was great, food was good. The carpet was wet in front of the bathroom, but we were too tired, did not want to move so they brought us several rugs to cover it. Other than that, it was nice. Trying to communicate when we don't speak Spanish was a little tricky, but we worked it out.”

  • Rooms were disappointing and looked a little run down.

“While the lobby was impressive the rest of the hotel could do with a face lift. The gym left a lot to be desired although I will mention that there are signs posted advertising a new state of the art gym facility to be coming soon. The pool was closed due to what looked like repairs. The room was very disappointing. While it was clean it looked sort of shabby and definitely not what I would consider as a 4 star hotel.”

  • They have good coffee, good shampoo and conditioner.
  • We were giving the wrong room and they gave the same room to another couple . We had trouble getting in the room after & had to go back down.

“This hotel had mildew in the shower's grout. The front desk was staffed by inexperience people. I am not sure I will stay there again. Appearance is good but staff is not very organized.”

“This is a superior hotel, quite modern, well appointed, and very comfortable. It is a good hotel at rack rate. For the road warrior, it is a beacon of warmth compared to most other hotels, unless your company puts you up at the Ritz Carlton. Highly recommended.”

  • While taking a bath I could see dirt and cobwebs under the sink.

“This hotel was great, and I only would like to inform the housecleaning staff about the cobwebs and dirt that I could see while sitting in the bathtub. My prior occupations was productivity expert and work management professional, therefore I typically see things that the average individual does not, consequently I am forever trying to improve situations and facilities, wherever I am in the world.”

  • The staff was very friendly. Great location. Very neat and I definitely will stay in this hotel again.
  • I didn't like that I had to pay parking on top of my room fee.

  • Fast responds & friendly at all areas of this hotel.
  • Parking! They charge to park in their own lot. Why?

“No complaints on their staff, but their rooms good use some professional decorating ideas, they remind me a papa & mama motel spike up a little as in motel 6 deluxe, was not impress by the rooms at all. This is not what I expected from a Hilton, very disappointed, will not stay at this particular location again, it's over priced for what you get & the nerve to charge for parking is beyond me.”

  • Had to pay $7.00/day for parking (hidden fee).

“Close to airport, very basic facilities. Was very hungry the night I checked in. Went to hotel restaurant, was seated by hostess, and then began to wait and wait. 15 minutes I sat as waiters walked pass me. Not even a hello. Couldn't even get a glass of water. After 20 minutes, I left without telling the hostess, drove my rental car 10 miles to a hamburger stand. Was offended by restaurant staff!”

  • I liked the cleanliness of my room and we had a splendid view!
  • The carpet in the halls was stained. We had to pay for parking.

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is centrally located and travel time to my other destinations was minimal. The view from my room was priceless! I rated it three-star upscale because I did expect it to be clean throughout. There may have been amenities that I was not made aware of too.”

  • I can drop off my Hertz car and take the shuttle to the airport. Saving time.
  • I believe there needs to be more attention to cleanliness.
