- Terrific bed, bed sheets and pillows.
- Staff was inattentive and apathetic.
“As much as I was disenchanted with the staff of the hotel, I have to say the room was great. Having always prided myself on how comfortable the beds are in my own home, I have to say the hotel bed was a great surprise. I could not wait to return to those soft sheets and comfy pillows each night. The room was huge, airy and quite comfortable and decor was more than adequate. Its nice to actually stay at a Hilton that lives up to the "Hilton" name. Naturally, being so close to the airport you hear the planes taking off and landing, that is to be expected when you read the name and location of the hotel. That being said, their are roads leading to everywhere you want to go and once you actually know where to go and how to get back it does seem to be an ideal location for those with their own transport. Now, finally the staff. Housekeeping did not show up at my room twice. They blamed it on the fact I had the 'Do Not Disturb' on the door through out the night. I argued the sign came off at 9:30 AM when we left the room. No matter insisted the housekeeping representative who, very matter of fact, transferred us to a manager whose apologies seemed to spew forth naturally without meaning and who could not wait to get us off the phone. A mistake on our bill was treated equally by the billing representative, who physically removed the charge from our bill, but did not adjust the end charge so we ended up paying the charge regardless (and folks, I am a boring old accountant. trust me, it was not adjusted). That being said. I would stay again.”

- Our overall experience at this hotel was great. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The grounds were well kept.
- I did not like the fact that we had to pay to park and to use the internet. There was no microwave or refrigerator.

- Lobby and rooms were attractive, modern and clean.
- Food and service in the dining room were inexcusable.
“This was a great place to stay for a short stay near the Miami airport. It was clean, modern, and had attractive grounds. Our room was great- very comfortable. The downfall is the hotel's restaurant. We opted for menu service instead of the breakfast buffet, and it was awful. Food was cold, so we sent it back. When we got it back, the food was still cold, but the plates were hot- they obviously just put the whole plate in the microwave. Waitress acted like we were bothering her by actually ordering something. Sleep here, but don't eat here!”

- Very nice staff, easy access.
- The room was extremely cold when we first checked in, but by the time we returned from dinner it had heated up and was fine.
“My wife and I were here for a doctors evaluation at the hospital. Since this was not a pleasure trip, we just wanted a nice, comfortable and safe place to stay, and this totally filled the bill. We had read some on-line reviews that mentioned it being older, but we did not see it in those terms at all. It is nice and the personnel is excellent and very friendly.”

- Mini-bar was absurdly expensive. But they all are.

- Sheets on the bed were very comfortable.
- Dialing operator or info from room was ignored. No hotel accommodations list in room.
“This is a very large facility. Understandable, it takes a lot of people to run it smooth. However, we were constantly dodging maid service carts in the hall at all times of the day. We searched the room for a list of hotel accomodations (where the pool is located, what other services are offered, etc.) in vain. When calling the front desk, our call was immediately put on hold with no one to answer the call. When calling the info desk, someone answered then immediately hung up without giving information. When calling back, there was a ring no answer. The restaurant within the hotel is extremely overpriced. The service was slow, the food cold. $4.00 for a cup of oatmeal is outrageous. This is a 4-star hotel, you got the feel that you were getting charged for things that are included in other hotels - like internet service and parking. Those are unwelcome suprises you learn once you arrive at the facility. We don't mind paying a little extra for a 4-star hotel, but don't expect to keep getting charged for things once we arrive.”

- The beds are very good.
- Pay for parking. room to far away from the elevator. Bar too small.
“As usual a Hilton hotel has excellent beds. Clean and good quality linens. The gym facility is outside of the hotel by the outside pool. The elevators are far away from many of the rooms. The bar is small and has a very limited menu. The restaurant seemed to have no boundaries as it was all over the lobby. Not inviting so I left the hotel for dinner. I don't understand why they have to charge for self parking if you are a guest.”

- We were put in a suite which was more than we expected.
- Two front lines personal: the parking lot attendant and the bell captain did not speak English well. These are people expected to interact with guests.
“We a wanted to be close to the airport for an early departure. It was easy to find and we were given a high quality room/suite. The bed was very comfortable. Charging for self parking seemed kind of cheap on the hotel's part but we had unlimited in and out privileges and a great room. We were given two complimentary bottles of water. Nice since they charge 3.25 per bottle.”

- Could hear airplanes taking off.

- Setting on a lake - very picturesque.

- Loved the walkway out to the Gazebo on the lake, very pretty.
- No bellman to take luggage down in morning. They didn't answer the phone.
“Quiet, even with the planes. Nice views. Very pretty grounds, with music playing. Lovely pool area. Nice choices for food available, not expensive. Overall, we would certainly stay here again for an overnight or even two nights. Fast shuttle from airport.”

- Halls corners were dirty no way to get a hold of shuttle.
“Along the halls on the side were dirty not vacuumed to get change you had to walk forever. At the airport no one knew how to get a hold of the shuttle to go to the hotel. And there was to be a buffet, and was not and the biscuits and gravy was horrid but breakfast was good.”

- View of the lagoon with walking path and outdoor hot tub.
- The pool was closed for resurfacing. The dust from this activity was bothersome as well.
“They met our request for an early check-in and king size bed with no difficulty. The outdoor leisure area was wonderful despite the pool being closed for resurfacing. It would have been nice to have the outdoor bar open for drinks regardless of the pool being closed though. The food at the restaurant lacked a little flavor on the first night, however the Christmas meal with turkey and trimmings was spectacular. I believe that this up and down in cuisine would be due to the holiday staff which changed each day. Note the breakfast buffet is slightly overpriced at 18$/person. The service in the restaurant and at the reception desk was excellent and the staff did indeed go out of their way to answer/satisfy each request.”

- Worst carpeting we have seen & NO venting in bathroom. Terrible coffee.

- The check in staff, the beds were great.
- The buffet was very expensive and the food looked great but tasted awful.
“The hotel's pool wasn't working and we had to use another pool at a resort that required a taxi ride - which is a shame on the week of Christmas in Miami. Otherwise, it was grand in appearance and the staff was very accommodating. The room was very nice and the attention to sleep was second to none (bed comfort, down pillows, room darkening drapes) The quality of the food served at the buffet was disappointing, especially for the price.”

- Very nice bedding.
- Not very fancy, average hotel, too expensive for what you get.
“This was a nice hotel, clean w/ comfortable rooms, but for a 4 star hotel, it did not live up to it. They didn't even offer 2 queen beds. The bedding was nice and the staff was nice, but it was just average. Nothing to rave about. I expected a little more for a Hilton and you had to pay extra for everything, including the mini fridge in the room.”

- Very lovely grounds, wonderfully comfortable bed.
- Pool was under repair.
“We were very pleased with the room, staff, comfort and location of the hotel. Easy to get both to the airport and into the city of Miami. Plus a real value.”

- Comfortable beds set on a beautiful location.
- The mini bar was not all that good.
“Set on a nice little lagoon with a good view of the city. The staff was helpful and the accommodations were above average. A good price for the stay.”

- I never had the best hotel before. Thank you.
- The breakfast was so expensive almost $50 for two of us.

- Great bed, linens and room service!
- Older hotel, bathroom could use a remodel.
“This was a nice hotel, comfortable and clean. They did not have any rooms left with double beds so we got a king with a rollaway bed for our 3 year old and a crib for the baby. It made it a little crowded, but not too bad and we enjoyed the comfortable bed and sheets. Room service was great, food was good. The carpet was wet in front of the bathroom, but we were too tired, did not want to move so they brought us several rugs to cover it. Other than that, it was nice. Trying to communicate when we don't speak Spanish was a little tricky, but we worked it out.”
