“Hotel was great, I liked everything location, areas around hotel, plenty of restaurants and shopping. Police patrols on duty. ” Jan 4, 2007 by
Juli from Jax, FL
“A nice upscale hotel located convenient to major highways. Peaceful setting in an over-crowded city.” Sep 10, 2006 by
Rob from Odenton, MD
“Excellent Hotel. Clean, well decorated rooms, Nice pool and hot tub. Great restaurant right in the hotel, walking distance to several other restaurants and shopping. A little out of the way, but if you're looking for a hotel in the area this is a wonderful place.” Jun 3, 2006 by
Susan from Malabar, FL
“Shula's hotel is clean and neat. The AC cools the room but does not reduce humidity, so you experience a cold sauna ambiance. Rooms are dark even with all lights on. I would choose a Courtyard by Marriot before returning to Shula's.” May 31, 2006 by
Al from Winter Springs, FL
“The hotel staff gave us wrong directions to the hotel putting us two hours out of our way. They did not apologize, gave us a room on the third floor in a building that had no working elevator. Our room had a broken bathroom door and we requested another room. The manager did not even come out. They gave us a room next to the old one (still no elevator)....poor service...employees smoking in front of guests, slow service, etc. Disappointing. They would not even print us a receipt or give us the address of the corporate office, faking ignorance.” Apr 22, 2006 by
Jensen from Tallahassee, FL
“The hotel was very convenient, wonderful shops nearby, friendly staff. Great bed... :)” Apr 13, 2006 by
Denise from Windermere, FL
“I am a travel writer, and have stayed at a broad range of places over the years. In terms of disappointment, this hotel would rank as one of the biggest letdowns. I've stayed at plenty of three-star hotels, and how this place has a three-star rating is beyond me. We could hear our neighbors and people in the corridors very clearly, and the odor of cigarette smoke permeated the place. The hotel staff, with the exception of the friendly housekeepers, was indifferent at best, borderline rude at worst. The "deal" I got on the room was no deal at all--would have been better off staying somewhere off the Turnpike.” Apr 12, 2006 by
Kimberly from Nashville, TN
“Every member of staff we encountered was helpful and professional. I was skeptical of the hotel but the hotel exceeded my expectations. I would gladly stay there again. The quaint Main Street shops are great. It feels like a small town.” Mar 22, 2006 by
Judy from Port Richey, FL
“Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, nice lobby and grounds. Would've like choice other than buffet for breakfast, although it was very nice. OJ tasted fresh squeezed, delightful.” Mar 17, 2006 by
Ted from Warwick, RI
“I love it.” Mar 16, 2006 by
Michael from Boiling Springs, SC
“I really enjoyed my stay here and will strongly recommend it to my friends and family traveling to Miami.” Mar 16, 2006 by
Brian from Orlando, FL
“It's like a Hard Rock or Planet Hollywood Hotel for Sports fans, Only on a smaller scale and comfortable setting. Not just a good ole boy getaway.” Feb 22, 2006 by
Daniel from Hialeah, FL
“Staff and location met my expectation.” Nov 23, 2005 by
Jerold from Cape Coral, FL
“A++ staff, grounds, food, and atmosphere all wonderful.”
