• The pillows and bedding were fabulous.
• A refrigerator in the room would have been nice.

“A Marriott experience is always a good one. I was so pleased when my priceline 'bid' turned out to be a Marriott. We will definitely try this again - this was my first priceline experience.”

• It was pretty much as advertised and staff was friendly.
• Our balcony faced a blank wall, that was worst part.

“As noted above, the hotel is as advertised as it really is. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, as were the lobby, pool and whirlpool. Would stay there again without question.”

• It was convenient to where I needed to be. It may not be easy to find for some, but being from the area it worked well for me.
• The air conditioner was aimed right into the room's desk and would not cool the room. I moved the desk and it was fine.

“The hotel was everything I expected and a little more. Small problems but the upside outweighed them.”

• No smoking.

“None smoking hotels that offer a balcony for smokers will get uniform threes on these surveys. Those who offer no accommodation for smokers will get zeros. These facilities aren't hospitable - they are hostile.”

• Very quiet, felt safe in the area. Staff was helpful. Very clean. Excellent breakfast.
• The hotel was fine, but a little hard to find. Cell phone came in handy!!

• There was not one thing that I can say that was negative about this hotel.

• The staff at the hotel were exceptionally helpful and courteous.
• It is a little bit difficult to find.

“This hotel is a well maintained hotel in the Hanes Mall area of Winston-Salem. It is a business class hotel with all of the amenities one would expect. The hotel is clean and well decorated. I would choose this hotel again for my travel needs.”

• It was being remodeled. No computer available.

“Hotel was typical of most Courtyards. Beds were comfortable. There was a buffet breakfast that we thought came with the room, but we were charged extra $5.50 each, even though we only had coffee, a pastry, and 3 small chunks of melon. Location was close to a mall and variety of restaurants.”

• Traffic and parking were excellent.
• Hotel in direct path of local airport. Quite noisy.

“This is a fairly new and nice hotel. I would stay there again. The complementary breakfast was quite adequate for a busy traveler. I would recommend running the fan at night to diffuse the sound of overhead planes.”

• The hotel offered more amenities than I had anticipated.
• Nothing comes to mind.

“I stayed here for one night and I had a good experience. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel offered 24 hour pool and whirlpool access, which I enjoyed to the fullest. They also offered a great a breakfast buffet for only $8.99 (price subject to change). I really enjoyed my stay here.”

• It was clean, and the staff were friendly.
• Small room, hard beds, small sink, no storage for suitcases.

“This hotel was barely a step up from your typical roadside Motel. Notes: "Coffee Maker" means a single into-the-cup brewer that takes little packets, small refrigerator not included (ASK for 1), wireless internet has many problems, small closets, very small sink/coffee making area. Plus after I got home I found out they double charged my credit card, so I had to call and get that corrected. If you're expecting something above average from this hotel - think again.”

• Conveniently located near the location of the business that I was attending
• It seemed that their housekeeping didn't come around 'til later in the afternoon. I just may be used to it being earlier, I'm not sure.

• The Marriott Courtyard has a knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful staff. The facilities are nice and clean.
• It does not have a free continental breakfast like some have.

“The hotel was very CLEAN, especially bathrooms and carpet. Staff excellent. Had all amenities needed (cable, hair dryer, iron etc). No restaurant on premises but, area surrounded by great eateries, bars,, movie theatres, whatever your fancy.”
