“I have stayed here several times and have never had a problem until now. Air conditioner was completely frozen when we arrived and even after maintenance fixed it, it still didn't work well. No hairdryer in room initially, housekeeping came in while we were gone and took our bath soap and did not leave more and did not leave washcloth's.” Apr 11, 2009 by

“A sleek-looking, modern decor with hardwood floors, bright art deco colors with chrome in hotel room, no shower doors on shower just a half pane of glass, room was very clean, staff was Nov 28, 2008 by

“Seemingly renovated from an older motel, Hotel Indigo brings the chic, modern aesthetic of trendsetting boutique hotels - like Nine Zero in Boston. From wood flooring rather than carpet, to a shower without a shower curtain (only a fixed glass panel to protect the toilet), much of the typical hotel room has been revisited with an Ikea- or spa-like eye. The room is comfortable, spacious, and pleasant; but a few off notes - like 70s-era panels in the elevators, the poorest excuse for a coffeemaker in the world, and a single desk the length of the room that blocks access to the power outlets and Internet port behind - show holes in their commitment (or else their ability) to re-design the hotel experience to the better, at least at the Miami property. In sum, this is a fine hotel to sleep in between days out on the town.” Oct 30, 2008 by

“This is a completely redecorated facility which is a diamond find. Nearby Marriott costs 3x higher and is no better. Latin/Brazilian guests. Best nearby shopping in Miami. Safe, high class area.” Sep 25, 2008 by

“This hotel was clean, smelled great, the staff was very friendly and the bed was amazing. Overall my husband and I had a great time and we left feeling refreshed and relaxed. We look forward to our next stay at this hotel!” Jul 15, 2008 by

“Overall, our stay was fine with a few exceptions. The room had been renovated and was quite nice. However, we were unhappy with the HVAC controls in the room. The only temperature setting seemed to be freezing. Even after setting the temperature to 85 degrees Fahrenheit, the room was still unbearably cold as the temperature hadn't actually gone up. After speaking to the front desk I was told I had to override the AC setting to raise the temperature but this did not work either. The other disappointing incident was being woken up at 3 am by the front desk and being asked to 'keep the noise down.' I understand that there may have been a complaint but surely the attendant at the front desk could have come up or sent someone to verify where the noise is coming from so as not to disturb another guest, especially considering that it was 3 am! As far as amenities are concerned, there were none because the entire hotel was under renovation, which was fine. Unfortunately, although our room was finished, it had not been completely finished well because the internet connection was nonexistent. There was a connection in the desk for an Ethernet cable but upon closer inspection the cable that came out of the back of the desk was not connected to anything and there was nowhere to connect the cable to. Of course, there was no wireless internet connection available. So all in all, I think this hotel will be quite nice once the renovations are finished but at the moment leaves something to be desired.” Hotel Representatives:
