• The breakfast buffet was an unexpected pleasure.
• My husband had a broken leg. Needed a wheelchair, they did not have one. Would not help me with the luggage to the room either. Very disappointed.

“The hotel itself was great. The staff was not the best. They could not seem to help us with any of our needs. Did not like that I had to go to another floor to get ice numerous times for my husbands broken leg. Also the soda vending machines had been removed on the floor that I went to so I had to hunt down another one.”

• I needed a business center. I had to drive to fexex/kinkos to use computer.

“I liked the location of this hotel. It was close to the area I was working in Miami. The breakfast and fitness center were both nice. I was very unhappy with the fact that they didn't have a business center. I've stayed at other amerisuites that did. I had to drive to fedex/kinkos to use their business center.”

• I didn't like the cooling unit's noise.

“We enjoyed our stay. It was nice having an area to relax and watch TV, as well as a sleeping area. The complimentary breakfast was great. Staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean.”

• Bugs, the staff had much difficulty with the English Language.

“This hotel was in a great location and easy access to highways and the airport. However, there was only one sheet on my bed but I was too tired to ask for another one. After the first night I asked the desk to have the maid add another sheet to my bed and they didn't. I left for the beach and when we returned I went to the sink to make coffee there were a large number of little bugs I'd never seen. Went to the front desk to inform the clerk and they sent a clerk to look at them, they said they were sugar ants and that we could move to another room. I asked them to call the room and let us know what was available. They never called. We had a late night before check in and the morning of check out the front desk started calling my room at 8am asking for the wrong room which I kept telling them they were calling the wrong room. They kept calling until I took the phone off the hook. I went to the front desk to find out who kept calling and it was the clerk. I informed him that we had a long drive ahead of us and he really messed up my sleep pattern. As usual they only said sorry. We left tired but had to head for the highway home. I will not stay at this hotel again. The hotel was very disappointing as it was very necessary for me to get a good night sleep to be ready for the road trip. I will not recommend this hotel.”

• The hotel needed lots of upgrades and the location was secluded.
• The exercise machines did not function properly nor did the ice machines.

“I was disappointed with this hotel room for a couple of reasons. The staff did not let me know that the ice machines were not working, leading me to go to the 5th floor, then the 3rd then the 1st floor. Then the entrance keys werent working properly either and did not allow me access to the pool/hotel entrance. My room was not made one of my hotel stays. And the gym machines were not in proper working order.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much. If I could add anything, it would have been a business center to check e-mails, print and do a few business things we needed to do. The front desk staff faxed some papers for us, which was nice. The breakfast had a wide variety of foods to choose from. Clean, spacious rooms. Loved having refrigerator and microwave in room. Would stay again.”

• The personnel were helpful and friendly. Although I was traveling, they provided outstanding help in getting around.
• The laundry room was quite expensive.

“There was a power outage but the staff made every effort to assist us in maintaining food and comfort until the power returned. I loved the size of the bathroom and the comfort area provided in the room.”

“It was not up to a 3 star hotel. It was the worst bed I have ever had at a hotel. The rooms smelled of mold. The staff did not know what they were doing and took very long at check in. I would not go to this hotel again&”

• Front disc service not too friendly.

“My husband and I stayed at this hotel as a stopover from Alaska to Nicaragua. The hotel was in the middle of renovations. Upon exiting the elevator to go to our room, the carpet was wrapped with plastic and there was sheet rock dust and construction debris about. Surprisingly our room was clean and quiet and no paint smell. The room was large and nice and had all of the amenities that we required - shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, coffee pot, plenty of light, and a nice view of the area. There was a free shuttle to and from the airport and the driver had a good sense of humor and told us funny stories. The complimentary breakfast was continentals but adequate - better than what you get on the airlines. We would stay again at this location.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• The hotel was under construction, so a complete mess and the TV didn't work.

“The hotel was inconvenient. I was never told that you had to call in order to get the "free" shuttle, so stood at the airport waiting b/c I¿d been told it would come "every 20-30 minutes". When I called, they then informed me that I had to call to get it. It took another 30 minutes to arrive. I got there, and was put in a room with a TV that was programmed to the radio, and the front desk didn't know how to fix it short of moving me. The place was a disaster b/c it was under construction and there was dust everywhere. They put me on a floor where construction was clearly going on (dust everywhere and equipment blocking the hallway), but luckily I was only there until early morning. The desk clerk called for a cab in the morning, but got the room number wrong, and I waited for 30 minutes for the cab - a $30 ride to the airport for just 7 miles! Nothing about this hotel was convenient, I didn't get to use the "free internet" (no computers available), the "free breakfast" (left too early) or the "free shuttle" in the morning (again, left too early. Not worth the money. Stay somewhere else.”

• Remodeling, and some sloppy paint overflow, no business center with computer.

“About 15 minutes from MIA, in a more-business oriented area of town. Not a luxury resort, but the room was very adequate, with sitting area, desk, kitchenette. Great place to stay for a longer period and it suited my one-night stay, as well. Courtesy transport was great, convenient. Continental breakfast started at 6:00 a.m., too late for our departure. I'd definitely try to stay there again.”

• The outside entrance and the lobby area were very nice.
• A desk clerk sent us to a room that smelled of fresh paint and didn't help correct it.

“Luckily another clerk was able to find us another room. The hotel should have checked for the smell since they knew that the redecorating was going on in that area. Breakfast was wonderful and the trip to and from the airport was great. The redecorating looked quite nice. The workout room needed airing out. All in all a fine place to spend a night, but not necessarily more than one.”

• Keys don't open own but other rooms; double bed rooms are full size, not queen.

“The hotel is very family friendly with good free breakfast; suite room is spacious, good for family (of four) travel with older kids. Would be nicer if renovation is completed. Also would be better if double beds are queen size instead of full size.”

• Wall paper coming undone, things looked a little worn.

“The people at the front desk treated me very professionally and with a smile. They looked professional and were very eager to please. The cleaning service was very thorough. The hotel was very clean. A few things about the hotel seemed a little run down, especially for how modern it looked. For instance, out side the hotel, there was a ruminant of where a large lit sign of the letter "a" once was and the wall paper in the room was peeling off the corners.”

• The hotel was spacious, clean, and extremely appropriate for children.
• Occasion somewhat convenient to the even venue, but there was some construction and was not easily visible from the main street.

“This was an excellent choice for a family trip. It was comfortable and roomy enough for me and my three children. They had a wonderful time and I wasn't concerned about cleanliness.”

• TV did not work in first room, quickly got a new room. A bit worn.

“Great experience overall, just what I was expecting. The rooms were roomy (we had two rooms for 5 people). One of the rooms had a TV that didn't work well, but we got a new room quickly. The toilet was difficult to flush, but no disaster. Overall worn look, but clean and comfortable beds. A complimentary breakfast buffet was a nice touch. There seemed to be a lot of business travelers. We chose the location near the airport to stay close to family, but there was no problem getting to attractions all over the city from the hotel. Very friendly staff. Recommended hotel for the budget minded that need a bit of space.”

• I was extremely tired at 2: 00 am trying to find hotel with incorrect.

“Once at the hotel it then was difficult to find the hotel entrance. All entrances were cut off to other businesses & didn't link through. I was so tired & frustrated I parked at burger king & just walked across barriers and around the back of the hotel. It was so frustrating I would have rather not stayed there to begin with!”

• The hotel is convenient to highways and has good a/c.
• The staff were not friendly at all and at times seemed rude.

“The hotel is only a 20 minute drive to the beach so it isn't too far. It does offer free parking and a hot breakfast. The breakfast is not as tasty as other complimentary breakfast offered by other hotels but does have hot selections. The negative aspect of my stay would have been the staff. They are not friendly at all and border line rude. No smiles thank you'd or good mornings.”

• Convenient, friendly staff, clean, and king-sized rooms bigger than expected.
• Hard to find entrance and really wanted non-smoking room.

“We had a pleasant stay for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. We had a room with a king-sized bed and the room was bigger than what I'm used to seeing. It had a sitting area with a couch, chair, coffee table, and little sink-like kitchen area. It was very nice. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.”
