• Great locacation on the beach, with great ocean view from suite.
• Public spaces (walkways, stairwells) not very attractive.

“Great location on the beach and near restaurants. Newly remodeled suite was very nice, upscale and had great ocean view.”

• It was right on the beach with easy access to the water, pool and restaurants.
• Not very upscale. Too many children.

“Overall, we like the hotel because it is very convenient to the beach and restaurants. We are not fond of children and, unfortunately, there are no rules regulating the behavior of the kids running around there.”

“I was quite impressed with the customer service received while staying here. I was always greeted in the halls by the staff and exceeded my expectations. In my travels it is always refreshing to come across hotel that feels like home. I found that Vero actually has a lot to offer and recommend to others for a nice getaway.”

• Worthwhile experience: room was very clean, great location and it had good food.
• At his time I couldn't find anything wrong with this hotel.

• Milligan's, the adjoining restaurant.
• The unpleasant management.

“The customer service was definitely the worst and management was combative at best. There were no replacement towels (or any other supplies) delivered on Saturday or Sunday. I had to ask twice on Sat. and five times on Sun. and the front desk management treated my requests like they were an inconvenience instead of simply getting their employees to provide what they were paid to do. Each time I was told they were "working on it." The cleanliness was about what you'd expect from a chain hotel, but I did see two cockroaches (one inside, one out) and a spider while I was there (though the sand fleas in the bed were probably my fault). Expect an oily pool with lots of little bugs floating around the edges because they obviously don't clean the traps that often. And yes you will feel a hot shower turn cold if someone else in this hotel flushes a toilet. The beach is thin, maybe thirty yards wide at high tide and filled with a foul smelling seaweed that leaves black tar on anything it touches. ”
