• It was great. Beautiful location. Something for everyone.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was right on the beach with a beautiful pool also. The restaurant was a bit pricey, especially for breakfast. We did have appetizers and those were very good. Very friendly atmosphere.”

• I loved the proximity to the beach and the view was marvelous.
• I would have liked more of a choice re restaurant menu.

“It was great - I would definitely stay there again! I loved the beach and the outside restaurant and bar. The suite was very nice but bathroom was very small relative to the size of the suite. Really a nice stay.”

• We requested a suite and were given a nice one facing the pool. We were just there for one night and found it quite comfortable.
• Did not like the dark decor.

“From the moment we arrived we were treated very, very well. All the staff, be it reception/restaurant/child care was absolutely amazing. The room was lovely and very clean, the microwave and fridge were a big bonus, the pool and the closeness to the beach was wonderful; the food at the restaurant was great and my 5 yr old son loved the pizza. We loved our 6 nights there, it takes about 1.5 hrs to drive to the Magic Kingdom, 40 min to KSC, the hotel is very close to shopping, I would recommend it to everyone, again it was perfect.”

• We were upgraded to ocean view with our honors card.
• Some construction going on.

“The hotel was a great location, although there was a huge class reunion over the week-end, which made things a little noisy. We got upgraded to ocean view because of our honors card, not sure if I would have liked the room otherwise. Our room was a little tight with luggage. All in all it was a good place.”

“Clean Nice rooms great deck and comfortable chairs to watch the ocean, visit with friends, dance, or just enjoy. Lively atmosphere with a good miss of kids, young people and more mature people. Only draw back is location next to a firehouse and sirens that can go off day or night.”

“I traveled for a friend's wedding and was pleasantly surprised when I found out that I booked the hotel at which the reception was held. Everything from the room, to the location, to the view, to the staff and bar were excellent. I enjoyed my stay.”

• Great location right on the beach, the rooms are clean and it is located near nice restaurants.
• Parts of the hotel are being updated, but isn't that really a good thing anyway.

• In attentive staff, motel-style room, so-so amenities.

“This evaluation was based on our initial room assignment, which was in a musty, dark motel-type room in the smaller of the two buildings on site. Fortunately, the next day, we found a more customer-oriented manager who moved us to the much nicer tower-rooms. The remainder of the stay was fine.”

“Nothing to write. I just really do not want to stay there again. The second morning of my stay, no replacement of coffee for coffee maker, 2nd night of my stay, no aspiring available in small room that they call gift shop, entire stay, room looked old and smelled musty, front door to room is covered with rust. 3rd morning of stay went to use hairdryer, it did not work either.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• The room door needed repair as did the patio door.

“Very nice hotel enjoyed my short stay there. Had a little trouble with the rooms main door, it locked us out, but it was taken care of promptly. The door out to the patio needed some repair and if you let it shut, it would jamb and you couldn't get back in. Otherwise a great stay. The beds were very comfortable, bathroom was a little small.”

• Good location, friendly and accommodating staff, wonderful!
• Nothing to complain about it is a lovely hotel!

“It was a true joy to stay at the Crowne Plaza in Melbourne Beach (actually Indialantic). The room was impeccable and there were lots of nice touches added to experience, for example a free sleep CD and lilac linen spray enclosed in a pretty burgundy pouch on arrival. The view of the ocean was fabulous, and the staff was extremely kind and friendly. A terrific value for the money.”

“The hotel is right on the water and from my room you can hear the ocean. The staff is friendly and accommodating, with only one exception of a waitress. (Guess we all have a bad day.) I would definitely stay here again at the rate I paid. It was nice to have a refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker.”

• Great location on the beach. Staff was very helpful.
• Need mats or anti-slip finish in tub bottoms, very slick while taking a shower. That is the only thing I found wrong during my stat.

• One day it was late, late afternoon before housekeeping came to refresh towels and clean.

“Very nice hotel, not sure what type room I would have received for my rate as I upgraded on arrival to an oceanfront room. Nice pool area, entertainment on the outside deck/bar area and easy beach access from the deck. Lots of activity the weekend I was there with at least 3 different weddings going on and no one seemed to be in each other's way.”

• A/C dehumidifier unit leaked all over unhelpful staff.

“The location is great Oceanside with a beautiful pool. The hotel's restaurant leaves something to be desired, as did the helpfulness of the front desk staff. The concierge was very helpful and gracious. I liked the down blankets and pillows lavender linen spray was really a nice touch!”

• They don't provide conditioner and you are unable to control the airflow for the AC.

“Other than that, I really hate it when hotels don't provide conditioner. This kind of unpredictability is something that I have gotten used to with a Holiday Inn. I did not expect this from a Crowne Plaza. Additionally, there was no way to control the Airflow and consequently the noise from the AC. Shower did not work properly too. Most of the water continued to flow from the tap below with very little water coming from the shower.”

“This outstanding hotel and staff turned a night with my wife into a second honeymoon. Everything was outstanding. Of special note was coquinas restaurant in the hotel, The food was superb and the server staff was extraordinarily talented and personable. I would recommend the Melbourne Crowne plaza to anybody.”

• On the ocean, and very quiet.
• It was a little far north on A1A from the central part of Melbourne and the other hotels.

“I found the staff to be very friendly. They let me check in early, and even though my room was near the road, it still had a view of the ocean and was quiet. They provided a host of welcome gifts, including a sleep/relaxation CD and ear plugs. They had an in-room fridge/microwave which helped with left over food from dinner, and they had an in-room dehumidifier. It worked great until it filled with water, and I woke up at 5 am to a very stuffy room. They also have a pool in the central area of the hotel which does not close down at dusk - very nice. The only real complaints about this hotel are that it is a bit north on A1A and that there isn't much outside lighting at night. All told, very pleased with my stay.”

• Windows in my room were completely frosted; couldn't see anything outside.

“Recently renovated and very clean, with a friendly staff. The food is very good, although the menu is a bit limited. The linens are excellent quality and the rooms are very insulated and quiet. The A/C worked great for a comfortable night's sleep. The small fridge was a nice touch in the room. Small, but comprehensive workout room.”

“Although my trip was short and I was there during a tropical storm, I felt so comfortable. The pool area was beautiful and outside of every room there was a table and 2 chairs to enjoy the view, the sunset, a drink. The railings were lit up by rope lighting. What a nice touch! My only regret was that the weather didn't cooperate. If I am in that area, I would surely stay there again. Sorry to leave. Thanks!”

• Shower filled up with water. Called maintenance and they fixed it immediately.

“Called two days prior to make sure I had double beds. Staff assured me there was no problem and would have the beds. When I arrived they said they didn't have any and wanted to make me upgrade. Spoke with another employee and they said they would help. They ended up finally getting me a room with two beds.”
