• A lot of things to do for all ages beside the beach.
• Did not have any hot water for shower in evening.

“The hotel offered allot of things to do. Pool, play area, lounge/drinks, ping pong, shuffle board. It was a little rowdy. A lot of adults drinking but no one was out of hand and it was labor day weekend. They have quite zone at 11:00 p.m. (pool closes, activities area, etc) and to my surprise it was quite. Drinks were inexpensive and atmosphere was fun. Would definitely stay at hotel again.”

• I appreciated their willingness to make things right.
• I did not appreciate the condition of the lack of cleanliness.

“Our first hotel room was loaded with mold. This was something house keeping should have caught. Relieved himself over the balcony. I has to explain what was going on to my 4 year old. Once we were relocated I had to call for the cable for the internet connection. Then from what I understand our hotel was the only one who lost power for about 20 minutes causing my four year old to completely panic. Overall I was not impressed.”

• The suite was spotless, walking distance to the beach what more can you ask for?.
• The restaurants were not in service at the hotel.

“This hotel was amazing. Hot tub, pool, lounge, suites were overlooking the Atlantic ocean, walking distance to the beach, spotless room, friendly atmosphere. I would go to this hotel room again, if I stayed in Cocoa Beach !”

• This hotel was clean, friendly, and fun. I loved the location. It was worth going to and we will be back in the future.
• The only thing that I can think of that was even inconvenient was the block walk to the beach. The good thing was there was a sidewalk.

“My family and I were very impressed with this hotel. The staff was always willing to help. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling. The kids really enjoyed all the things this hotel had to offer such as the shuffle board, volleyball, ping pong and game room. It was fun and we would recommend this facility to others.”

“I was very impressed with the size and comfort of the Comfort Inn. Nice to have a little living room and kitchenette and bedroom for the same price as a reg. room elsewhere. Lovely grounds and easy to get to everything in Cape Canaveral area.”

• It was very clean, beautiful flowers and water fountains, play ground for children and right next to Ron Jons!
• Noise level after 9 pm was very bad. Apparently there was a particular room having a very loud party. It could have been perfect for not the noise.

“I walked into the room and it was crisp and clean. I instantly knew it would be a wonderful stay. I had a 2 1/2 year old with me that was so excited about the play ground in the courtyard and the fountain displays that he cried with delight. I left my camera in the room when I left and called as soon as I discovered it. The housekeeping staff was so kind and concerned and found my camera. The assistant manager of housekeeping called me right away and located the camera through her staff. She was so caring. I cannot tell you how good the experience way. Thank you!”

• May kids loved the tropical feel of the hotel and closeness to the beach.
• Old cigarette butt in the sink, smell of bathroom.

“You could tell the hotel had a recent makeover but the atmosphere was very age appropriate for children. It was very close to the beach and one could easily walk with no traffic interference. Across the street from several family and fast food restaurants. Grounds keep very neat and security staff seen frequently making rounds.”

• Good location, rooms painted nicely.
• Mold in ice bucket. Dirt swept into the corners of bathroom, dirty filters in A/C & vents. No microwave.

“Room was standard but very musty smelling. I had to remove the A/C filter to clean the dirt out and sprayed the room with disinfectant. This still did not help. The vents in the bathroom were covered with dirt they have not been cleaned in quite some time. We thought the room had a microwave and a small refrigerator. The ice bucket was moldy.”

• No one broke into our room.
• It smelled bad. No HBO.

“Our room faced the entrance of the parking deck of a better hotel. The room did not smell good, beds were small, the bathroom tiny, with no bathtub only a shower. Desk help not helpful, we could hear the family in the next room yelling at their kids. I thought this to be one of the worst Choice brand hotels I've stayed in. There was no breakfast buffet as well.”

• Very nice facilities and well maintained. Loved the mini-kitchen in the room!
• We didn't have a problem, but I could see parking becoming issues during peak season.

“Very pleased with our stay. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It is very convenient (walking distance) to all the major attractions and the beach. The mini-kitchen in the room was one of the best Ive seen. The pool/hot tub/shuffle board/volley ball courts in the common area were really nice and well maintained. Want a good laugh? Go to the hotel bar karaoke! Memories were definitely made!”

• The best thing about this hotel was it's convenient location to the beach and Ron Jon's Surf Shop.
• I did not like the rooms we were in. The beds were way too small.

“For the money that I paid for this hotel, I really expected better accommodations. I was traveling with my family and we could not get adjoining rooms or even at least one room with a microwave. I was not pleased with this hotel and will not stay there anymore. I stayed last year at the Quality Inn and Suites right down the road from this hotel. It was much nicer and accommodated families much better.”

• Did not stay - hotel was unacceptable.
• The room smelled of cigarettes and was designed for the handicapped.

“Hotel was deemed to be a moderate star hotel. Upon arrival I was given a smoking handicapped room that was not acceptable. The staff at the cocktail lounge in particular, the bartender, was rude. The overall experience was undesirable. I left and went to the Hilton on Indialantic Beach. In order for me to recommend priceline.com to my family and friends.”

• The location was perfect being just across from the beach and close to the pier.
• The room lacked a fresh, clean smell and the heater had a terrible stench when turned on.

“I was disappointed that we were not given a room with an entryway and outside table as the motel was less than 1/3 full. The spa was closed all 4 days of our stay and the lounge was too Smokey to step in for a drink. However, the staff was exceptional and cleaned our room spotlessly every day!”

• Was awakened on Saturday morning to the sound of a painting crew with construction vehicle outside my room at 7:15am.

“When asked for extra linens were told to come to lobby despite the fact that I was on the 6th floor of a different building. House keeper was non-English speaking and could not respond to requests. No effort to compensate for the inconvenience of the Saturday morning construction was offered. Game room was dark next to bar, and remote from common area and did not feel comfortable letting children play there.”

• The room was very comfortable.
• Noises from pool and adjoining room were high and I had to get up very early for a marathon.

“The staff was very friendly. I was with my husband and 10 years old. We drove up approximately 30 miles to stay closer to the venue for a half marathon I was running the following day. I did get good rest even though there was some noise from the room next door and the pool area. I was able to turn up the air conditioner fan to drown that noise out. I was very satisfied, however, with the overall condition and comfort of the room.”

“I just wanted to share my disappointment that I had with this hotel. It started out when I entered the room and it smelled like a 'bug bomb' had just been released and later that night I realized why. As I was getting ready for bed I noticed little bugs, crawling all over the bathroom floor, the bathroom ledge, and the table in the main room. The bedding looked fine, although after seeing the bugs, it was extremely hard for me to get any good sleep without feeling like I had bugs crawling all over me. Had I noticed these bugs before leaving my room right after I checked in, I would have asked for a new room, but I was only in the room for a matter of minutes, and by the time I got back, the lobby was closed. I have stayed at this Comfort Inn in the past and have not had this problem, but for a hotel room that is more expensive I expect a little more.”

• Clean, well equipped and spacious.
• I liked everything about the hotel.

“The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The room was spacious and well lay out. There were plenty of pillows and the beds were more comfortable than a lot of the rock hard hotel beds Ive slept on. Overall a very good experience and value.”

• The hotel had large black ants everywhere; the hotel maid did not clean the room left the same dirty sheets on the bed for two days.

“My stay was very difficult between killing ants, the room was not clean, or the floor vacuum. Had to call for towels on daily basis. Will not stay at another comfort inn or suites.”

• The location was great. Friendly and helpful staff knowledgeable about area dining.
• Our room, which was courtyard/poolside, had a bad ant problem. We were given another room but was on parking lot side.

“Very nice hotel. The location was fantastic and was walking distance to both the beach and shopping. Nice amenities and a very helpful caring staff. The full size beds were a bit small for two people to share however.”

• The outdoor activities were great.
• The smell of our room was not good.

“If you have kids and want to relax this is a hotel to keep them occupied for days. The pool is great with a lock out for the small ones. The play ground is nice with a covering for the parents to sit and watch. The ping-pong and volley-ball games were great fun. Make sure your room is really non-smoking or like ours it smells.”

• The hotel was not on the beach as I had expected. Rooms were not clean.

• I liked the parking outside of room and also the convenience of the beach.
• I did not like that I lost my parking space and someone else parked there without a pass.

• The hotel is filthy and the staff is horrible.

“Here is an excerpt of the complaint we sent to the general manager: when we came in the lobby, the desk clerk hardly acknowledged us, as she carried on a conversation with staff at the desk (as I recall, they were sharing a somewhat colorful joke). When she finally acknowledged us, she simply stated, "yes?" after more interruptions with unrelated conversations and joking around with her co-workers, she finally said, "you are too early, you cannot check-in until 4 pm and will have to wait." my wife and I got to further experience the desk clerk and other staff members making flatulence noises while loudly laughing. After about 45 minutes of this show, the clerk finally said we could check-in. However, she said she was "fixing to get out of here" and someone else would have to check us in. the room had been obviously smoked-in (we reserved a non-smoking room) and had not been properly cleaned (used soap was still in the shower, the shower stall had a notable amount of hair in it, the bathroom floor was wet and there was a wet washcloth under the sink). For a few dollars more, stay next door at the Sheraton four points. The general manager has never responded to our complaint.”

“I had to go out and buy baking pans. I told the front desk- they said they get me some -they didn't. The utensils weren't fully stocked- and didn't match the list posted in the kitchen. They made no effort to accommodate me on this issue- only telling me there was a supermarket across the street. So I paid my with my own $$.”
