• Nice pool close to beach beautiful view.
• Room smelled, tub did not drain and bad service.

“It was nice and close to the beach and the rooms were nice but our room had a strong musk odor and the tub did not drain and the shower knob broke off in my hand and maintance was very slow to reply.”

• Room was clean and staff was friendly.
• Obnoxious, loud, horrible karaoke outside the room.

“Had it not been for the cheap bar karaoke like atmosphere right outside our room, the stay would have been nice.”

• I liked everything. clean rooms/friendly and helpful staff.
• None.

“The rooms were clean. Nice furniture; Friendly staff; on the beach; Breakfast; internet. No bugs good beds and clean sheets. I would recommend this motel to anyone. We had a great time. They also have some free things. I know we will stay again. In Cocoa about 15 or 20 minutes there is a great place to eat called Keys Rib and Barbecue if you like this don't miss eating there. I have never tasted ribs so good and tender. Barbecue and every thing is good.”

• It was 20 yards from the beach.
• The chemical they sprayed was terrible.

“The accommodations were exactly what I expected. It was great having the little fridge and microwave in the room. My only complaint was there was that they sprayed some kind of chemical to keep the sand fleas away and it caused issues with my daughter's asthma. They did stop spraying it when I asked but they should notify you if they use that kind of stuff so you can tell them in advance not to use it.”

• Bed was comfortable. Ocean was awesome. Local restaurants were great.
• The building we stayed in was not what I thought it was going to be, it was ruined down.

“There are a few buildings that make up this hotel, there is one right on the water that is very nice. However there is three more buildings behind it. Those buildings are not very appealing. Overall it was a pretty good experience especially with the ocean being right there.”

• Located right on the beach.
• Pattern on bed spread meant that room card, other items would disappear when placed there.

“Good hotel, great location on the beach, clean and simple. Very helpful service from staff. We arrived early in the day, too early to check in, so staff offered to call us as soon as our room was ready, which she did. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.”

• Full kitchen (stove, oven, sink, dishwasher, full fridge).
• The pool bar was not open and it was 84 degrees out!

“Was very impressed with the quality of the room and the hotel restaurant. My stay was ruined because the pool bar was closed even though it was 84 degrees out.”

“I was unbelievably disappointed in the hotel. We had to switch rooms because the first one they gave us smelled awful and was extremely old and dingy. The second room was better, but we found a cockroach. Luckily we found it on our last day or I would have canceled the rest of my stay there. I will never go back!”

• Cockroach infested smelled, false advertisement of hotel.

“This hotel was advertised as oceanfront. Wrong! False! One building was oceanfront and there were 4 or 5 separate buildings scattered within a block area. My building was not new, was not oceanfront and was infested with cockroaches. Not only that, I called and complained and was told there was nothing they could do.”

• Picture shows ocean view, no ocean view for this price.

“Average hotel with 5+ buildings. One has ocean views and is a minimum charge for upgrade. Breakfast is in one building with poor parking located several hundred feet away from other guest room buildings, beach is also several hundred feet away. We were le to believe we had an ocean view as all other hotels for this price we stayed at in Fl did. We disappointingly paid the upgrade for our kids.”

• It was close to the beach and the room had a fridge and microwave.
• Our building wasn't oceanfront, the room was small and near a high traffic parking lot.

“This hotel was not as advertised. Although it was designated oceanfront, it was in fact comprised of several buildings, only one of which was actually on the ocean. Breakfast was served, but only in one building and you had to walk to get there. The "fitness center: we saw was in a separate building and was comprised of one stepper and one bike in a tiny closet-like room facing a parking lot. They did have a pool bar and a walkway to the beach. Durango's Steakhouse was an attached independent restaurant and our room had a coffeemaker, fridge and microwave, but only a shower and no bathtub. Staff was friendly, but amenities were minimal. The room was very cramped and not well sealed, so all the noise from other floors or outside traffic was very loud. Okay for a quick weekend if you aren't spending much time in the room.”

• Close to the beach.

“Nice room. Ice machine worked. The restaurant close to the motel was very good. No yellow pages. The motel was close to KSC. I enjoyed the stay very much. It was a nice room. Found a wonderful restaurant in Titusville to watch a shuttle launch. Great Central Florida Food. (Rock Lobster).”

• The room was wonderful as was the view.
• The wait. The wait to check in was too long.

“We upgraded our room to an ocean view room. I had problems at check in due to the fact that the ocean front rooms are part of a new tower and there was not really any communication other than 2 way radios. We had to wait an hour over and above for our room to be ready. Lots of people in the lobby. Other than that every thing was great until check out. When they tried to charge me again for the room. I told them no I just had to pay the upgrade which I had done. Everything else was through you. Then the girl got the manager and everything worked out. But due to the prior wait and the confusion I left a little upset. Satisfied but upset.”

“We never even had to leave the compound to have a great time. Restaurants were all around, the pier next door, but the pool-side bar was the best. Open late serving drinks and food. Couldn't ask for a better weekend.”

• Dirty, bad view for ocean front. bushes in front of room view.

“The hotel room was very dirty! We found trash on the floor. The bathroom and pool were loaded with black mold. Our oceanfront view was blocked by bushes! We asked for a better room and were told they couldn't do anything. There was no parking the first night because people not staying at the hotel were parked there instead. We complained to the staff about our stay and they offered nothing for compensation! We were very disappointed. I think they should have given us a free stay for another weekend. They just said thanks for telling us!!”

• I met the owner which you do not do very often. It was clean ,view was wonderful, the staff was great . We asked for beach front & got it.
• Nothing.

“The location of this hotel is perfect! The Best Western is right on the beach, plus, it is within walking distance to the Pier and many restaurant's and stores. The hotel also has a very clean pool with an outdoor snack & beverage stand. The beach music that was played in the pool area was perfect! Shuffle board was a nice added bonus to the pool area. Another nice feature is the room free wireless internet connection...”
