• It was dirty - full of ants - coffee maker with no pot - Phone did not work - Towels were like Burlap.

• Since we were staying only one night, it met needs for little investment.
• Room reeked of "old" and "mold", bed was nothing to write home about. Coffee was terrible for $2 a cup.

“This hotel, while it has all of the amenities of a full service resort on the beach, has seen better days and should be enjoyed only at the right price. The beds are lacking and that old, mildew smell permeated the room. Be careful where they put you, as we had a room facing the parking lot and parking garage of the condo next door.”

• The staff, access to the beach.
• was put in a kids room that had part of the room partitioned off with bunk beds, no drain stopper for bath tub.

“The property is old, run down and shabby. The location was good, and staff was friendly but the property needs a complete renovation in all areas.”

• I'm glad we only stayed one night.
• Our room was oceanfront but at night there were no lights around our room and it felt unsafe. The bathroom was well overdue for a remodel.

• Very accommodating, we arrived much earlier then the 4::00 PM check-in, they got us in our rooms early.
• Need someone to actually take us to our rooms and also help with luggage.

• Very large with a lot of things to do on site!
• One of the staff members did not know what she was doing.

“The hotel was great! I would definitely stay again. The first night when we checked into our room, they had us down for two double beds, we were on our honeymoon. The lady fixed it, but she was confused the whole time and did not inform us of any of the extras that were available through the hotel. We found out the day we checked out.”

• Right on the beach and close to local attractions, e.g. restaurants, shopping.
• Section I stayed in was in need of remodeling. could tell it was an older hotel that had not been updated.

“Clean, staff friendly and helpful but didn't go out of their ways. Had to ask for a new battery in the smoke detector since it was beeping and took 3 to 4 hours for someone to come take care of the problem. Asked about a good place for seafood dining and was handed a map of the area with a quick mention of two restaurants but not told any directions for finding these restaurants.”

• Only that the staff was nice.
• The room was like a Motel 6 not a Holiday Inn Resort.

“The location was great, however, our disappoint is with the room itself. The rug has rips and holes in it. The chair in the room had paint on it and the Bathroom was disgusting. The tub was grimy and was afraid to take a shower. The room needed renovation. I was impressed with the price that priceline gave us, but the hotel is nowhere near a resort class. We were not happy at all with this hotel.”

• The rooms were not ready at 10 pm in the night and we had only one kingsize bed with 4 people.

• Close proximity to the beach and friendly staff.
• Little to no soap, rooms cleaned too late in afternoon, other guests easily heard from inside room.

“The facility is on the cheaper end of decent. It was tolerable as we received a very competitive price for our room on Priceline, though there was little to no soap and guests outside our room could easily be heard from inside the room, especially at night when trying to sleep. The close proximity to the beach and clean room made this tolerable, though.”

• Great location. Lots of amenities.
• Shower faucets were mislabeled (hot/cold) Pool water was too warm, not refreshing, like bath water.

“First time Priceline users will definitely do again! Great location, right on beach. Lots of amenities pool, whirlpool, exercise room, tennis courts, restaurants. Staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating. We got the non smoking room and king bed we wanted. Grounds were clean and attractive. We would definitely stay here again.”

• Check in staff gave us a room that had a guest already staying in it.

“Great location, rooms were tidy. The check in person gave us a room that already had someone in it, but didn't offer us an explanation of why that would happen. I'd be a little leery if another guest could just open my room with my belongings in it.”

“The hotel is not a resort it is a cheap way for spring breakers and Harley drivers to have fun and celebrate all night with younger children you will get not a lot of sleep and the next morning you will find Dixie cups, used towels and trash everywhere the pools were great and the beach was very nice the staff was friendly but couldn't handle the noise and the dirt”

• This hotel was a short walk to the ocean. This was the main focus of our vacation. Sunsets, sunrises and surfing!
• To be blunt, the walls had stains on them and should have been cleaned by staff. The bathroom was clean though.

“This hotel was located in a wonderful geographic area, regardless of what this hotel lacked if your focus was the surrounding area and the hotel was mainly for sleeping and showering then it served its purpose well. If you want to spent time in this hotel room (due to bad weather or are severely tired) you will notice the stains on the walls, very worn carpet, tight quarters, outdated TV that buzzed, lumpy beds, and outdated style.”

• Toilet paper holder in disrepair. Made a bad impression.

“We only stayed here for one night and for that the hotel was sufficient. I was a little irked at check-in because we arrived at midnight and had to wait almost 10 minutes because the hotel was understaffed due to checking in guests for a convention they were hosting. They should have known better and planned for more workers. Then, when we got to the room, the toilet paper holder kept coming out of the wall. That should have been an easy fix with some glue. The bed, air conditioner, cleanliness, etc. were all sufficient, but those small problems created an unfavorable impression.”

• Being beach front was nice.
• Loud clientèle.

“This hotel looks like it was two hotels put together with a pool in the middle. Some facilities were nice such as tennis and shuffle board, a large pool etc. It was mostly loud. Some rooms have a microwave and fridge, others don't. Free internet was great, however.”

• Wonderful location on the beach. Comfortable rooms, dated but clean. Staff very friendly and the restaurant was a good value.
• No shampoo in the bathroom.

“It was our first time in Cocoa Beach. The resort was comfortable, family friendly and offered a safe feeling. The resort setting was perfect for beginning travelers like ourselves. The rooms were dated but clean. We enjoyed the beach location as well as the resort itself. Tennis, shuffleboard. It was all wonderful. Highly recommended.”

• The room was a mess and there were ants all over the floors and counter.

“Would never recommend this hotel to anybody. There were ants all over the room and it was a real mess. The shampoo bottle was empty and there was no trash bin in the room at all. As far as the bed we could have just slept on the floor. You could feel all the springs in the bed. Next time we go we will
not stay at that hotel.”

“Lately my stays at the variety of Holiday Inns all over the country has been all over the board in quality but a lot of these properties have got to spend a little bit on decent pillows, towels, sheets, blankets, carpet, TVs to keep current and fair to your customers and to earn their stars.”

• On the beach and great pool area!
• All the rooms' exterior.

“Definitely worth the money. We asked when we checked in, if we could be close to the beach. It's definitely a Vintage hotel but it just reminded me of road trips to Florida with my parents when I was a kid. We walked right out of the room and onto the beach and the kids had a lot of fun playing on the pirate ship pool. The front desk gave us free tennis and shuffleboard equipment and even had free board games for the kids to play. They let us bring our dog and there is a dog park next to the hotel so we had a perfect setup. The hotel is priced right for what it is, a family vacation place. We didn't break the bank and everyone had fun. We're going again before spring break!”
