• The Days Inn in HHI offers a great location to the beach and all activities on the island.
• It - the facilities of the property - are a bit dated and in need modernizing/updating.

“The Hilton Head Days Inn has a great, central, on-island location. Tennis, golf, the beach, shopping, and great restaurants are within minutes from the property. The pool is larger than many hotels offer, and a miniature golf center is just a stroll away. This is a good hotel for families with young children.”

• The location to the beach.
• The friendliness of staff, cleanliness and management when fire alarm went off at 10:00pm.

• I liked the variety of food at the continental breakfast -- very sufficient.
• I did not like having to use the room "key" to go "down" the elevator.

“The staff was very accommodating -- from the desk personnel to the maintenance man. I felt very secure in the room. My wife and I enjoyed the separate TV sets -- she could watch her favorite program while I watched the sports program of my choice. My only complaint was the basic cable package offered a minimum amount of channels to select from.”

• Free breakfast, clean room, comfortable bed, location to beach.
• Pool could have been a little cleaner.

“My first experience with the Fairfield brand was in there newer hotels. I have notice that Fairfield is incorperating older hotels into their brand. I am therefore weary of their hotels. That said, it was a nice stay and I would stay at this hotel again.”

• FREE WiFI connection, Great breakfast, USA Today newspaper, clean room
• The fact I couldn't book a second night while I was there.

“I have stayed at many Fairfield Hotels. For the volume this hotel deals with I am amazed they were able to do an excellent job. ”

• nicely situated, outstanding for its star-rating class
• can't come up with a thing...

“I have been to at least 20 Fairfields and they were ALL uniformly clean and modern, with free wireless internet throughout the property, 24-hour coffee, USA Today to the rooms as well as at the front desk, and cozy and efficient lobbies where breakfast foods and local cookies are totally satisfactory. Ice cream snacks cost money but their very presence is better than most hotels. Best value I know.”

• A/C noisy - kept cutting on & off

“Good location, lots of vacationers. Good places to eat on the island...but not real close by. Breakfast included. Clean and road-dog friendly.”

• The hotel provided a very friendly breakfast and overall service
• The hotel was awesome,but I dislike the absence of an emergency number

“This hotel had a swimming pool and an exercise room;the staff was very friendly,and highly professional at the same time;I enjoyed my stay very much,I am thinking about vacationing there.Hilton Head is an exquisite place that has so much to offer.This was a memorable visit.”

• beautiful resort, clean rooms, nice staff, friendly...
• 3:30 am false fire alarm! Noisy, cold, never got back to sleep!

“Having been woken up in the middle of the night for this fire alarm was unfortunate. We had to be up at 6:30 am for a event so by the time we got back settled in the room, it was time to get up. Plus you felt uneasy about relaxing. No one offered an explanation or an apology or a coupon. I realize it was an accident, but we had a very long day, a 7 hour lacrosse tournament that we could hardly keep our eyes open!”

• They were very helpful in moving us from a single room to a double with no hassle
• I thought the location would have been beachfront - my mistake though.

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful time on our first visit to Hilton Head.”
