• Free parking and free WiFi.
• I liked everything.

“The hotel was conveniently located right off of one of the main thoroughfares, however, you could hear no traffic noise. The room was neat and clean. The room did not have a fridge and I called and told them that I was expecting one and had already gone shopping.”

• The bedding was comfortable and the location of the hotel was good. Some restaurants were in walking distance.
• The hotel should offer certain amenities that are standard for all rooms such as refrigerator, microwave, free continental breakfast.

• The clean rooms and friendly staff.
• It did not have a microwave and fridge in the room; they added a fridge though.

“The hotel lobby area was very nice; the breakfast buffet was nice; my grandson loved the bacon. The rooms were very clean; and the staff was very nice. I would recommend it to family and friends.”

• Very comfortable beds, very nice decor and breakfast buffet and hot tub.

“Hotel was clean, well maintained and stylish. Very comfortable foam beds and the pillows were somewhat lacking. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, but the hot food tended to get just a little stale the last hour or so. The hot tub and ample parking were a big plus after long days showing cars at the speedway.”

“The rooms were very clean and updated. My only complaint is that the king room wasn't furnished with a microwave or small refrigerator. That would be very resourceful if those amenities were added.”

• I liked that it was convenient to Concord Mills.
• I didn't like the gym facilities--but you can use the univ gym if you want, that's good.

• Quiet rooms, comfortable beds.
• No complimentary breakfast, no microwave ovens in rooms. Outdated fitness area with poorly maintained equipment.

“Nice room, comfy beds. Lack of complimentary breakfast, is compensated by hotel's close proximity to restaurants. No microwave ovens in room & outdated fitness center, make it a tolerable, yet, not-so-great stay for physically-active business travelers who don't have time to go out-on-the-town.”

• The hot tub and Courtyard were very nice.
• Need more elevators and need hotel with wireless internet.

“Most staff friendly, some were very neutral. Only give a short Ethernet cord for internet, would have liked to sit on the bed and use computer. Courtyard and hot tub were nice.”

• The staff was helpful and had a nice area to meet and talk with a colleague.

“The hotel is neat, clean, and conveniently located near I85 and retaurants. The staff was professinal and helpful. The bedding was crisp and clean. Check in and out were a breeze. The coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and refrigerator all work. There were no surprises.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• There was no free breakfast offered and the breakfast buffet was not reasonably priced.

• No cameras watching the parking lot.

“Hotel was very nice. I do not recommend anyone stay in the university or east side of charlotte. My car was broken into and several items stolen in broad daylight.”

• Nice rooms, staff was very friendly.
• Breakfast was not included (or at a cheaper rate), room not getting cleaned until late afternoon.

“Hotel was very nice. King room was nice. Only complaint was that housekeeping didn't show up until mid afternoon. By then, I had to raid the housekeeping cart to get shampoo, conditioner, and clean towels to take a shower. Also elevators very slow. Otherwise, grounds were nice, room was clean. Staff friendly.”

• The beds were comfortable.

“The beds are very comfortable and the room is nice. It is well stocked and furnished. The facility is smoke-free, which is nice! The vanity area is also nice, having ample counter space and the full-length mirror is a plus. The bathroom could have used improvement, but it was not bad enough to complain to management about.”

• Very nice bedding and comfortable mattresses. Hooray - non-smoking!
• They use glass drinking glasses - prefer shrink wrap plastic ones.

• Nice linens, granite counters, furnished like a suite, felt like a got a steal!
• Nothing. Way exceeded my expectations for the room.

“We were traveling to a concert--spent all of our money on tickets and gas! were expecting much more of a budget room--they had recently been remodeled--very comfortable--felt like I was staying in a nice hotel--luxury linens and very helpful staff wit the perks of a nice business hotel. Would definitely stay again!”

“Incredible staff. I left my winter coat at the hotel and called 4-5 days after checking out to see if it was still there. Not only did they have it, they shipped it to me free of charge! Thank you for a wonderful experience!”

• There was no complimentary breakfast and no microwave in room.

“This property was an excellent value for the money. The room was very clean and the hotel was quiet and looked as if it were new or recently renovated. My bed was very comfortable but my business associate complained that his mattress sagged in the middle. The two beds seemed to be equal so it might have been psychosomatic. The biggest disappointment was there was no complimentary continental breakfast as there are in other 2.5 star properties in the area. Also, a microwave would have been a nice touch in the room as there was already a refrigerator. One other little thing: the hotel should put out cookies on Friday nights as well as Thursday nights. Finally, the in-room coffee maker was defective. While there was free internet, the rooms were not wireless and the computer had to be tied to a rather short Ethernet cable.”

• Staff, broken bathroom with little or no hot water.

“Everything from delay at check-in for the staff requiring a copy of my driver's license (which I do not do for potential identity theft reasons). The room needed repairs, especially in the bathroom with the broken on/off water value in the tube which resulted in little or no hot water. I did not have time to request a room change.”
