• Right downtown, convenient location.
• Looked more aged than I expected for a high-quality hotel.

“This was a good deal with a Priceline rate. I would have been very disappointed had I paid the full price. Very much the center-of-the-city experience, would be great for business travelers, for whom the service is obviously geared - very matter-of-fact, speedy, but few smiles. Room decor showed its age. I would call it a 3 - 3.5 star experience.”

• Each progressive day I looked forward to getting in the bed. Wonderful! Shower, best water pressure ever in a hotel
• Scented candles in lobby area...very annoying, unpleasant.

“Wonderful location, efficient staff, cozy inviting beds, great view. The shower itself is akin to a therapy treatment. Fantastic water pressure!”

• I liked the location of the hotel, the friendly staff and the plush beds. They were very comfortable.
• There was a lot of noise outside late at night. I thought it was too late for music to be playing outside.

“This hotel was extremely nice, clean, comfortable and had a very accommodating, friendly staff. The beds were extremely comfortable. We had a really great nights sleep. The hotel staff notified us that there was noise outside at night and provided a sleep kit if we needed one.”

• Beds were amazing.

“I liked the hotel, until I was trying to sleep at night, and until about 3am there was a gentleman in the square next to the hotel preaching on a microphone. Now I love free speech, and I have nothing against the message, just the time. I called the front desk, to see if they would do anything about it and a snooty staffer said he couldn't do anything about it, except "check" to see if there was another room available for me to move to. Which, obviously, I wasn't going to move at 3am the morning I check out. Luckily I had earplugs. Other than that, the hotel was superb.”

• Great service - easily upgraded to a premier suite

“Great romantic getaway in one of their two signature suites. While the suites cannot be booked with Priceline, the reservation was easily upgraded by contacting the hotel staff.Only disappointment was the pool area. While listed as a "rooftop" pool, it was on the roof of the 1st floor. Not very large and no hot tub was available. Also many people at the pool were smoking. I would prefer a non-smoking pool area.”

• Nice looking, great location.
• Room service, front desk personnel.

“I had to stand in line waiting for the Clerk who kept on waiting on other people not in line. I checked in with a BOA Debit Card. Clerk asked for a Credit Card, gave him cash for prepaid valet service, he gave me no explanation regarding the Debit Card. Left 10:30 in the AM & came back at 6:40 PM. Room had not been cleaned. Went to the desk and asked to have the room cleaned. Came back at 10:30 PM. Room had been cleaned somewhat, same mat in the bathroom, coffee maker had not been cleaned, coffee mix had not been replenished, trash near the room desk was not emptied.”

• Excellent location in downtown Charlotte. Reasonably priced self-parking.
• Room - too close to the elevators and on the noisier side of the building.

“Our bed was extremely comfortable. Our dead TV remote was replaced within minutes of our call. Nighttime re-entry into the hotel is not easy to figure out if you chose to walk and leave the car parked.”

• The room was clean and had nice comfortable bed and bedding.
• Room service food was extremely bad. Turkey sub with dried bread and a bunch of broken chips.

“The room and hotel was nice, but was expecting more for a four star hotel like Omni. It was small and the bathroom even smaller. Room service was very bad. The Turkey sub bread was dried (not condiment wise, but left out and not moist). For $14 for a simple white bread sandwich was not expecting a handful of chip scraps. Would expect to get a decent chips and not the bottom of the barrel for a four star hotel.”

• I spent a lot of time in Charlotte and the Omni is convenient to business and comfortable.
• Small bar in the middle of a larger common area, more non-smoking bar space is needed.

“The Omni Hotel is centrally located for downtown Charlotte business. Access to and from the lower level parking is excellent for those travelers with an automobile. The hotel is always clean and secure with the key only entry onto the floors above the lobby.”

• I liked the central location of the hotel to the convention center and rail system.
• I think the breakfast offered at the hotel restaurant was too costly.

“The Omni Hotel in Charlotte is a lovely hotel located in the heart of the business District. Its unique design stands out against the skyscrapers and allows one to find the hotel with ease. The view from the higher floors is of course, phenomenal and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Omni Charlotte again.”

• High speed internet was very slow.

“I would recommend this hotel. But if you absolutely have to have fast internet, it leaves something to be desired. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, and the location is great if you need to be in Uptown Charlotte.”

• Great location and rooms that open to swimming pool.
• You have to enter through the garage.

“I was impressed with the hotel and the price for
the
room. Perfect location if you want to be in the downtown area. Walking distance to sports venues. It would be nice if parking was free for the people who stay in the hotel. That is the only thing I didn't like about the stay. Although, $8 is not a lot to pay for the stay.”

• Bed was not as comfortable as I thought it would be, and I didn't sleep well.

• Street performer's music could be heard clearly in rooms facing that direction at 9:00 PM during the week.

“All in all this is a beautiful hotel despite loud music coming from the street. They were in fact ready to accommodate a room change if we preferred. Conveniently located in the middle of the downtown area, close to excellent food and the airport, the Omni has a helpful and friendly staff. I would highly recommend the Omni to anyone and look forward to another stay.”
