• Great Location right by I-77 and good restaurants.
• The map that was given with the reservation was not very good. Took me a little extra time to locate the hotel.

• Excellent location, just off the interstate, with easy access to airport.
• The fitness club is too far away, and I did not like the fact that I had to pay for Internet access.

“This hotel is located just off I-77, with easy access to the interstate and Charlotte International Airport. The rooms are decent-sized and clean, and the kitchenette comes in handy. I have only two complaints about this establishment. First, there is free access to a fitness center, but it is nearly five miles away. Second, there is a fee to use the wireless Internet access. Overall, however, I would recommend this hotel for a stay.”

• Hotel close to the airport.
• Rooms were accessible from the parking lot. I prefer hotels where guests go through a lobby to access the rooms.

“Hotel served its purpose for a one night stay near Charlotte airport. Room was clean and bed was o.k. Hotel seemed to be filled mainly with people on longer business trips.”

• The overall appearance was excellent, I liked the fact that the hotel was not too farm from the major highways and was not difficult to find.
• The smells as thought it was a smoking room even though I requested a non smoking room. I had to was all of my laundry.

“The location was excellent, I was most impressed with the hotel staff I did not get in until almost two in the morning and check in was seamless. The wireless internet was down for my entire stay, I really needed to get online. My only disappointment was the fact that the room smell of cigarette smoke.”

“Very practical hotel for those wanting to have a safe, clean room and not eat out every meal. The kitchen is very helpful, but not well stocked with utensils, plates, etc. Nothing stocked (i.e., salt, pepper, paper towels). Very friendly staff.”

• Didn't have 2 beds in each room which is what we needed.

“Very nice place to stay. They were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again IF I did not have my kids with me due to only having one bed in each room. That is why I booked 2 different rooms. One still had to sleep on the floor.”

• The room were basic but clean.

“No pool, you've got to be kidding. North Carolina in July and no facilities whatsoever. Also they sent me to a room with 1 bed that smelled like smoke although' I had told them there were 4 of us. When I asked for a 2 bed room I had to pay extra. ”

• I liked the staff's attitudes, they were very friendly.
• I did not like that the hotel did not have a pool.

• Near airport, Carowinds and restaurants, yet quiet. You'll wonder if you're still in the city.

“As we were leaving the hotel, I realized I would miss the coffee maker, microwave, fabric shower curtain, singing cardinals and the friendly staff.

Homestead had been a wonderful home for three days and I would miss her warmth and nurturing. My husband was relaxed and that was the purpose of our trip. He works hard; we wanted to escape the rigors of the day-to-day. Happy to see the fellow so mellow, I whispered, "When will we return?"

Pressing my hand within his own, he spoke but one word, "Soon."

What can I tell you? I write therefore I am. Simply, "the Homestead rocks!"

It is near the airport, the lake and the restaurants. ”

• This staff ROCKS!!!! They excel at customer satisfaction!

“The hotel is within Charlotte's city limits yet it seems a mile away. Enjoy the serene setting while relaxing on the balcony drinking complimentary coffee. The security locks made me feel safer than I've ever felt on the road.Fabric shower curtains, ice waiting in the fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. Oh, man this is leaving. I really like choosing the days my studio would be cleaned by their staff. Home sweet homestead. Would definitely stay again. Very, very affordable.”

• No maid service for short stays. No Pool

“The hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. It had a small stove, large refrigerator and bar to eat at. I did have to pay an upcharge of $10 per night because the room will only accomadate 2(1 queen bed),hope you are related. And we were traveling with our 2 children.”

• Though still over a mile away, it was the closest and cheapest you could get to the Coliseum.
• Construction was being done as early as 6am and was very noisy.

“Great bargain for the price! Rooms are very clean and equipped with amentities for extended stays like cookware and utensils. The guest pantry is convenient for purchasing groceries. Hotel staff was friendly, though not always the most informative. They are doing renovations for the next several months.”

• The grounds are very well landscaped.
• Inferior mattress, only 2 pillows, mattress pad did not cover the mattress

“If this location is convenient for your stay in Charlotte, the Homestead Suites is a clean and reasonably priced basic, suites property. The queen bed room is small; but not cramped. The kitchen area is equiped with a decent sized refrigerator and was adequately supplied with pots, utensils, etc... The well landscaped property makes the exterior spaces a nice "addition" and antidote to the closeness of the room.”
