• Nice meeting facilities.
• Staff was preoccupied and was always on phone.

“This hotel was not very impressive except for the lobby. The hotel staff treated me as an inconvenience or disruption when I was checking in and out. Rooms were very small. Internet access was almost ten dollars per night which was tacky! Pool was closed as was over half of the parking lot which made parking almost impossible until 11 p.m. when conferences were over.”

• Very comfortable beds.
• Bathtub did no drain properly and tile had mold.

“This was a nice hotel in a great location except it was under renovation at the time of our stay and in need of further updates. There was loud construction in the lobby all day and the bathroom needed updating. The tub didn't drain properly; the tiles had some mold, etc. The rest of the room and hotel were beautiful. I would prefer to return when the updates and renovations are complete.”

• Paid for our dinner due to lack of hot water.
• No hot water when we checked in. No air conditioning the next morning.

“This hotel should not be on your list .We didn't have hot water the night we checked in and no A/C the next morning. Another clerk was very nice. Walls were paper thin, pool under construction, waiter in restaurant very slow.”

• Very comfortable room, attractive lobby, ample free parking.
• The hotel, while nice as an accommodation, is near a busy highway which can be heard at night. Also there are warehouses, storage sheds nearby.

“Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very warm hospitality. Accommodations are very comfortable. Restaurant offers a nice brunch on Sunday. One comment which is less than positive is the setting of the hotel.”

• Accommodated an early check in, very nice.
• Evening made me wait an hour at car rental for shuttle pick up- only 5 minutes away.

“Rooms are clean, match 3 rating. Lobby is ok not overly elevators and off lobby corridors are a little on the shabby side. Very visible wear and tear. In need of hallway carpet and paint etc. My main concern is room and that was just fine.”

• As a single traveler, I felt safe in this hotel. Staff was very courteous. Bed was comfortable.
• Heating system had a slight occasional banging noise in it.

“Very nice hotel. The bed was comfortable and I got a good night sleep. Pillows were great! Hotel was convenient to the airport. Pleasant and helpful staff.”

• Check in was fast. The room was great.
• I stayed on the first floor, and had to take my three year old to the snack machine that was beside of the pool.

“Check in was fast. The room was great. This hotel is great for business. We were only there for a short time, so it was ok for us. I could hear many loud people in the halls around 2:00am. The noise woke my daughter up.”

• Lobby and public areas were very nice.
• Room needed a lot of work. Ceiling in shower was cracking, dirty floors, broken bed, and moths in room.

“For a quick overnight stay to be near Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, the Sheraton will do if you have no other choice, but if you are looking for a room that is clean, comfortable, and in a convenient, safe location, I absolutely would not recommend the Sheraton. The public areas look very nice and upscale, but once I got to my room, I was very disappointed. One of the beds was broken and extremely uncomfortable, the ceiling in the shower was cracking, the faucet was broken, the floors were filthy and there were moths in the room. The television is very outdated and there isn't even free internet access. Other than being convenient to the airport, the location was awful, with nothing close by and it was in an area that felt very unsafe. I've stayed at other Sheratons before and this was by far the worst of them all.”

• Wireless cost 9.99- should be free.

“It was everything I expected from the Sheraton- clean- elegant- nice for a business travelers hotel- good cocktails- room comfortable and quiet- wireless costs 9.99 though which I always hate because the rooms are not cheap.”

“Excellent hotel with a lot of space and a lovely appearance. This hotel can be used by all travelers and is close to the airport. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who needs internet access since it is not free.”

“I was very pleased with the hotel. It was a great value. We arrived on Christmas day. It was great to be staying in a hotel that had a restaurant that was open on Christmas day. We ate in the restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.”

“This hotel was in a great location if you are flying out of the Charlotte airport. Very easy access to the airport terminal for early morning departures. I was worried about the noise from planes taking off and landing but there was none. We will stay there again.”

• It was a very clean and comfortable stay. I plan on staying again next year.
• Slight odor of cig smoke even though I was in a non smoking room. Not too bad though.

• Charlotte parking safety very poor lots of car break ins. Hotel does warn about it.

“Hotel was clean and convenient to the airport, right off the highway. It is great for an overnight. Please be advised to remove all belongings out of your vehicle in this area. Your car will be broken into if luggage is left inside. This applies to all airport area charlotte hotels and parking lots.”

• Seemed to be in a rough section of charlotte. I would not feel safe taking a run in the immediate area of the hotel.

• Bed was very comfortable.
• Room was a smoking room and smelled a little sour.

“We ended up with a smoking room because of availability. It was not what we would have chosen had there been more options. This was not the hotels fault. The lobby smells strongly of the chlorine from the pool area. It is a beautiful lobby and the eating area is there. I'm not sure I would want to eat through that smell.”

• Most comfortable bed ever, cozy decor and atmosphere.
• Woke at 4:50 a.m. by janitorial staff noisy &chatty in hallway.

“Room and amenities were extremely comfortable and cozy--just lovely. Downfall was being woken by inconsiderate staff at 4:50 am. Chatty, loud and carelessly bumping carts into walls and door. I phoned "O" front desk and no one answered.”

• Pool & Hot tub in secluded area. 24 hour fitness center.
• AC System in room made fairly loud clanking noises often.

“This is an older hotel but remodeled very nicely. Lobby, restaurant and other public area are very nice. There is a breakfast and lunch buffet which is reasonably priced. Rooms are nice with digital AC controls. TV's could stand to be replaced. Wireless internet access is available but an extra large of $10/day. Exercise room is fairly nice although a couple of machines should be replaced soon. They have a TV, water bottle, and showers onsite. It is open 24 hours, which is nice. Pool and hot tub are in a fairly secluded place which was very nice. Hours are very reasonable from 7am-11pm. Overall, we had a nice experience and would most likely stay at this hotel again.”

• Having the toilet (fresh) water give me a shower. Apparently water pressure, too much is a problem.

• Clerk said that because we used pl, we get the rooms no one else wants.

“The hotel completely met expectations for location, service level, cleanliness and comfort. We arrived very late and used room service, which arrived quickly. We used a roll a way bed for our young child, and it was the most comfortable portable bed I've ever seen in a hotel. We made the mistake of not confirming a non-smoking room with the hotel in advance, and the only non smoking room left was a handicapped-accessible room, but they were happy to give it to us.”

• The cleaning staff knocked on the door twice before I checked out at noon.

• I like the hotel but the room temp was to hot. And the restaurant was way out our range for food, I would like a buffet breakfast added to the room.
• The fact the restaurants were too expensive.
