• I liked the location. It was close to the amphitheater, panthers stadium and all the malls.

“The first room had ants in the tub so I was moved to another room. The second room looked shabby with worn and stained carpet. Looked like there may have been a flood previously. I would have expected more from this hotel. But my flight was canceled so this was a last minute choice. I would
not recommend this hotel to anyone else.”

• Having to pay for every single thing!

“This would be a great hotel for someone with a lot of extra cash to burn. For travelers on a budget, like me, stay away. You have to pay for everything, from your internet access to a bottle of cheap water for the coffee. Would definitely never stay here again.”

• Great location near the Charlotte airport.
• No airconditioning. Spent a hot sweaty night tossing and turning.

“Nice hotel but there was no airconditioning. Good thing it wasn't super hot weather. As it was it was warm and very sticky. It was difficult to sleep with it so hot and sweaty. Called front desk and their response was that the heat was turned off. Also admitted that the airconditioner was not turned on.”

• Great location to the Charlotte Airport. And if you are in a rental car, a gas station is next door.
• For a business hotel, paying $9.95 per day for internet is ridiculous.

“The hotel was clean and convenient to the airport. The room was comfortable and clean. Having to purchase internet, either by the hour or day is an unnecessary expense for a hotel of this type.”

• Parked car at hotel and took 12 day mediteranean cruise - no charge.
• Improvements were in progress - no real problem.

• Proximity to the airport.
• The large roach in my bathroom, the malfunctioning AC and the construction in the lobby.

“I was very disappointed with this hotel. Upon complaining about the malfunctioning AC and the large roach in my smoking room, they did manage to find me a bug-free non-smoking room behind the construction zone, but the entire experience was a major hassle.”

• Under construction, so no pool, etc, available. AC dripping on carpet at entrance.

“Upscale motel near airport, but undergoing major construction, so many amenities were not available to us. Also, my shirt was ruined by an AC unit which dripped oily residue. The unit was in the ceiling just outside the bathroom, where I had left my suitcase. Staff was helpful, though, and laundered the shirt. The hot dryer was too harsh, though, and the shirt is not so nice now. Beds were very comfy.”

“This hotel is under construction. Location is good, staff is very friendly, but the construction dust is terrible. My toddler drew designs on the tables. Restaurant was ok, but very expensive and slow. Maybe because the kitchen was shut down for construction? I think it will be nice when they finish, but not so great now.”

• My room was very nice with large TV.
• The hotel was being remodeled with dust and dust covers on furniture, in restaurant.

“I think this is a good hotel, but no one told me it was being remodeled. The shuttle driver mentioned something about there would be "dust" in the hotel. The restaurant was sad looking with most counters and furnishings covered with canvas drop clots and only about 6 or 7 tables available. Place felt very desolate.”

• It was probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in.
• The parking lot and pool were under construction while we were there.

• Staff was preoccupied and was always on phone.

“This hotel was not very impressive except for the lobby. The hotel staff treated me as an inconvenience or disruption when I was checking in and out. Rooms were very small. Internet access was almost ten dollars per night which was tacky! Pool was closed as was over half of the parking lot which made parking almost impossible until 11 p.m. when conferences were over.”

“This was a nice hotel in a great location except it was under renovation at the time of our stay and in need of further updates. There was loud construction in the lobby all day and the bathroom needed updating. The tub didn't drain properly; the tiles had some mold, etc. The rest of the room and hotel were beautiful. I would prefer to return when the updates and renovations are complete.”

• No hot water when we checked in. No air conditioning the next morning.

• Very comfortable room, attractive lobby, ample free parking.
• The hotel, while nice as an accommodation, is near a busy highway which can be heard at night. Also there are warehouses, storage sheds nearby.

“Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very warm hospitality. Accommodations are very comfortable. Restaurant offers a nice brunch on Sunday. One comment which is less than positive is the setting of the hotel.”
