• The employees, they were great.

“It was a nice relaxing stay. We were able to enjoy a quiet beach even in the middle of Dayton race week. The staff went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.”

• I loved the view of the ocean, the pool and the hot tub!

“This hotel was great. I do not have anything bad to say about it! It met and exceeded my expectations! The location was great and convenient. Room was clean, pool and hot tub were clean and the staff was very friendly! I would definitely stay here again!”

• Right on the water, convenient.
• The bed had a plastic wrapping on it that "crushed" every time you moved.

“It will be difficult to get good nights sleep because of the bed noise and also the sliding glass doors apparently are very popular to open and close because that's what we heard all night long.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff. Oceanfront view was fabulous!
• No restaurant or bar. A/C units from above dripped onto our balcony.

“Absolutely fabulous for the price! Every room was oceanfront with a private balcony. The room was clean and well-stocked. The ocean view is gorgeous.”

• On the beach.
• It smelled, not very clean, very olds, sheets scratchy.

“We were not expecting the Ritz; however we were expecting better quality than what we received. We had to go buy a candle the room smelled so musty and old. The front staff was nice but the hotel desperately needs to be updated. The carpet looked as if it wasn't even tacked down in places. The beds weren't comfortable either.”

• The parking spaces.
• No restaurant, or bar, or any kind of music, entertainment.

“The hotel was decent.. The front desk staff were very pleasant but the cleaning staff were not very pleasant. If I could add anything to it I would say a restaurant/bar outside would have been nice I would have liked to have a drink and relax in the atmosphere of my own hotel. All in all it was nice and I had a great stay.”

• Carpets.

“Very nice economy rooms - clean and well stocked. Easily located, plenty of stores nearby for forgotten items or supplies. Pool and hot tub, grounds kept clean. Nice rockers outside of entrance. Lobby has comfortable couches to view flat screen TV and PC available to check email with a complimentary cup of coffee or tea. Overall, positive experience ¿ would book again.”

• Cheap towels, changing temp in shower.

“I was disappointed by hotel not having coffee in room. Towels were cheap and rough. Shower temperature fluxgate while showering. Pool area was nice. Room was oceanfront which was nice but could hear the sliding glass door opening and closing in adjoining rooms. ”

• Extremely dangerous porch railings!

“Small children can squeeze through the porch railings and drop 2-7 stories onto cement tiles. Dangerous beyond belief, we could not enjoy the porch at all. The room was very comfortable and clean.”

• In need have remodel. Older overall appearance.

“Would never pay full price for this hotel. Fantastic views of the ocean and great pool. Staff was very friendly and more than willing to help with suggestions on where to eat etc. The room had a refrigerator and microwave which was a nice bonus. The hotel itself is in need of a mass renovation. If you are going to spend a lot of time in your room I would look elsewhere. If you are going to be out and about and just sleeping in your room this is the place to stay!”

“We stayed on the bottom floor - right next to the pool. Nice, huh! Then we saw the roaches. At least 5 of them. The room must have previously been flooded, it was very musty.”

• It was a beach front hotel.
• Tacky corridor and worn looking furnishings in room. Gave us a smoking room.

“We only needed this room for one night, and in fact got there late that night, with just enough time to sleep before getting back on I95. For that reason it was sufficient and served its purpose (a place to lay our heads for a few hours), but I would have been disappointed to stay in such a raggedy room for a longer period of time. The fact that it's a beach front hotel is a huge plus and may counter for the negative vibes you get from the room itself. It's not a huge detour off the interstate to get to this hotel. ”

“I arrived at the end of Biketoberfest, and there was a disruptive guest but they took care of it immediately. Room was adequate in every way and then some with the kitchen had just stayed at Disney and while the grounds at Disney are amazing.”

“As previously mentioned, the carpet was wet and the room smelled like mold/mildew. Also, there was leftover food from the previous guest in the refrigerator. The location was good. Waterfront rooms are always nice. Other than that, blah. If it had been my money, I probably would have complained about the carpet and food.”

• The hotel was in a great location the beach was great, the view was great as well.
• The hotel was very old, the lobby was musky and the elevator wasn't even labeled.

“The hotel is in a great location, the view of Daytona Beach is excellent but, the breakfast was horrible, the hotel lobby was very musky smelling like it needed airing out, the hallway was poorly lit and smelled as well the rooms were just felt nasty. Traveling with a three year old I was afraid to let him walk bare foot on the floor.”

• There was not one thing I could complain about.

“The hotel was in a wonderful location. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we decided to stay another night. They even gave us a rate for the third night. A great little hotel for the price.”

• The oceanfront view and balcony was very nice and private. The room was clean and had a small kitchen.
• The elevators were very busy and a little crowded.

“All in all our stay was very pleasant. The room was cool, clean, and comfortable with a nice oceanfront view from the balcony. It also had a little kitchen for convenience. The staff was very friendly and helpful and allowed us use of the grounds and pool until our room was ready. The late check-out time of 12:00 pm was great the next day. Use of the grounds and late checkout time were a big plus”

“The hotel spreads were filthy and the pool was the smallest in Daytona Beach FL. There were roaches in the vending machines, the entire hotel smelled like smoke and the pool was not cleaned every day. There were drunks hanging around the elevators. We did enjoy the ocean front view.”
