• We had a room overlooking the ocean and with a balcony. That was the best part for us as well as the cleanliness.
• Silly, but the fan connected to the bathroom light was very loud and couldn't be turned off separately from the light.

“We absolutely will stay there again. Our room was clean and roomy and we really enjoyed the ocean view and sounds when the glass doors were open.”

• Location was good and friendly reception staff.
• Air conditioner noisy and not very good.

“This hotel was adequate for my one night stay but I felt it was dear for what was on offer-the continental breakfast was excellent and perhaps this was why it was more expensive.”

• We like this hotel as it was right on the beach, with ocean front views.
• The hotel could have been cleaner, the view from the south side of the hotel was obstructed.

“The hotel is in a great location, the staff was friendly. It was an older hotel that was looking run down on the outside. The rooms were nice inside. The pool area should have been cleaner. Great access to the beach.”

• They did not change the sheets at all while we were there for three days.

• It was in a great location especially for spring breakers. There was a lot to do.
• The maid service was very rude.

• I liked the covered parking.
• I didn't like the fact that we had to park our trailers offsite.

“Overall this was a nice place I will stay there again I went to Daytona for bike week and this was an excellent location the only thing I didn't like was that we were not told we had to store our motorcycle trailers elseware at an additional cost but overall the experience was good.”

• The room decor was very nice, clean.
• Common areas, hallways, lobby need to be updated.

“Our room was great, completely renovated with attractive decor. The beds were very comfortable and the linens crisp and clean. We had an oceanfront room with a balcony overlooking the pool, within walking distance to Main Street and The Pier. We would recommend this Hotel to anyone and would stay there again.”

• Mainly the view of the ocean from my hotel room.

“Pleasant staff, did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. The hotel is an old one, but well kept up and clean. The pool and attending area were clean and ready for use. The staff did all they could to make our stay pleasant. The hotel was old but well kept up and clean as was the pool and the attending area. We enjoyed the view from our room and the balcony of the beach and ocean most of all. I would gladly stay here again and for a longer period of time.”

• It had been newly remodeled and was nice.
• The elevators needed to be remodeled.

“The hotel was located on the beach not far from the pier and boardwalk. It had a nice clean pool area and beach access with a shower and rinsing water. The rooms were average in size. It was a little pricey for a 2 star hotel.”

• The room is quite comfort.
• There is no facility for the visitors. Only one pool exists.

“The room is clean and kind of comfort, but there is no facility except pool. So you have to go out and find restaurant. Pool is small than I expected. But I think it was reasonable with that price.”

• Had a very nice view.
• Carpets were extremely dirty.

“This hotel was very nice overall. The only problem that I had was how dirty the carpets were (your feet and socks were black after walking across the room) also, it would have been real nice if there was a screen door on the sliding door so that it could be left open for fresh air without letting bugs in.”

• No one told us it was in the middle of being renovated.

“The room was clean and the location was good. Hopefully it wills e nice once the renovations are complete.”

• It is being remodeled and it¿s nice and clean.
• The free breakfast could use improvement.

“It is being remodeled. The room was really nice in decor and cleanliness, it¿s new. Parking is limited. Some disorderliness on the outside due to remodeling. An ocean view room was expected for this off season rate but I did not get it. ”

• The staff was FANTASTIC front security guy the maid staff they were so helpful and pleasant.
• The bad linens were a bit stiff and scratchy took me a minute to think of something to put here.

“When I go back to Dayton a for a weekend trip I'm booking this same hotel real good location and a more than fair price ....”

• The location, they even provided security for our bikes during bike week.
• There could have been refrigerators in the room.

“This is a nice hotel to stay at in Daytona beach, right on the ocean, close to all activities, not the best hotel on the beach, but certainly not the worst either. Still, for a 40 year old hotel, I think it was a pretty good place to stay. I will stay here again probably too. Friendly staff, good housekeeping staff, great security.”
