“I think, I shouldn't recommend this hotel if you are planning to rest and feel peaceful. A lot of teenager were in the hotel and they were running all the time, that included after 12:00 am. At the pool area no towels available, we have to used ours. That's disappointed me.” Mar 15, 2009 by
Jeff from Wasilla,AK
“We had some issues with how clean the room was. They were quick to fix the problem and the staff was very friendly. We spent 10 days there and all in all it was not bad. The staff made up for the short comings of the hotel.” Sep 6, 2008 by
Wanda from Stone Mountain, GA
“The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was on the quiet end of the beach; great location on the beachfront. However, we did find a small insect on one if the beds. It appeared to be a tic or large bed bug. We did not notice until the morning we were checking out. We did have a minor problem with the toilets not flushing properly, and we brought a plunger until the problem could be corrected as there were no other rooms available. Other than these two items the room seemed fine. Unlikely, that we will return to this location.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Donna from Lakeland, FL
“Very nice, clean, hotel. We had our 11 yr old with us so he loved playing the pool table at night while we listened to the juke box. Pool was directly on the beach with a little restaurant/bar there. We really enjoyed our stay.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Debbie from St Cloud, FL
“I would stay there again. I did have to upgrade to non smoking, ocean view. I would recommend eating else where.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Issa from Valparaiso, IN
“I had bad experience staying in not nice hotel. The hotel also was not ready since the bath tub was clogged and the refrigerator was not working and no remote control. You ruined my vacation.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Lisa from Creve Coeur, IL
“We arrived early, so they told us to enjoy the pool while they got the room ready, we were in our room before 3 p.m. The room was very clean and spacious, nice because we had a crib in our room. The crib was a pack-n-play, with not much padding (our little one is two) so I called and ordered more pillows, she was fine. The staff was very friendly, I met people who stay there every time they come because they love this hotel. I would definitely stay again.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Dell from Perry, GA
“All in all it was good value for the money. Daytona Beach is one of the cheapest beach places to stay in America. This was ok at $99 for all the amenities.” May 7, 2008 by
Patrick from Plainfield, IL
“We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We knew it was right on the beach, but that was about it. They originally had us in a smoking room, but was easily changed to non-smoking. We were given (but did not ask for) an ocean-view room that was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful and the view was just awesome. Our only complaint was that parking is limited around the hotel. There was plenty across the street, but did not care for having to cross the road by foot.” May 1, 2008 by
from Ellabell, GA
“Overall I would rate this as a 2 star hotel. Didn't quite seem like a 3 to me. The parking was horrible. There was very little parking available at the hotel and it was really only meant for very compact cars. We were in a Mustang and had a hard time squeezing in. Once that parking lot was full, your only other option was to park across the street. A very busy 4 lane highway. Overall, our stay was pretty nice. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a lot nicer than some of the other hotels in the area and there were lots of shops within walking distance. I would stay there again.” Apr 24, 2008 by
Angelo from Miami, FL
“Nice hotel.” Apr 22, 2008 by
David from Aylett, VA
“The front desk had no management available to approve my reservation for an Ocean side room other than the handicap room the desk clerk gave me. The front desk refused to provide the reserved room even though I checked in early. This location was listed and charged a 3 star rate; when in fact it would barely qualify as a 1 star.” Apr 22, 2008 by
Craig from Orange Park, FL
“It was not a three star hotel as I expected and paid for.” Feb 27, 2008 by
Ron from Orlando, FL
“This hotel would probably be ok for families with children (maybe). Do not go for a romantic getaway as I wanted to do with my wife. Kids running all down the hallway, pool is not heated and was very cold, no hot tub, and you have to run across a very busy major road to get to and from the hotel. The diner inside the hotel was wonderful though. Great food and friendly.” Feb 4, 2008 by
Ann from Cary, NC
“This is a solid 3 star hotel. Great view of the ocean and convenient to attractions in the Daytona Area.” Jan 8, 2007 by
Lark from Hernando, FL
“An older hotel that has been renovated numerous times. Still under construction from damage from the hurricane 2.5 years ago. Low ceilings in the hallways, dark and a little damp. Room was okay, molding was rotted in the bathroom. First room was on the 5th floor but we had to change due to the room being permeated with cigarette smoke. Second room was on 2nd floor and not as nice. We were able to change rooms easily, that particular clerk on duty was helpful. Parking area was very tight and only easily used by midsize to compact vehicles.” Hotel Representatives:
