• The elliptical machine in the exercise room.
• Old, shabby, and sort of tacky décor.

“The staff was nice. The exercise room was great. The rooms were tacky but comfortable enough.”

• Everything. The heating system was so loud that we had to turn it off in order to sleep that night.

“The hotel is off the beaten path. It was hard to locate. It was shabby and dated. The heating system in our room was horrendous. Was not a pleasant stay. I have stayed in Best Westerns before, and this one was unlike any I have stayed at before.”

• The shower was amazing.
• The bathroom was not as clean as I would've liked.

“The hotel is not located in an easy-to-find location. The room was spacious and clean, except for the bathroom floor. The front desk staff was friendly enough, but the housekeeping seemed anxious for us to vacate the room even though it was only 10am and the checkout is 12n. Breakfast is disgusting. Skip it and go to Bob Evans.”

• No soap or shampoo. No bulb in lamp. Computer in lobby out order. Hideous breakfast/stale.

• The Jacuzzi Tub.
• The quality did not match the price.

“The air conditioner did not work properly for the 3 nights I spent in the hotel. The first night they moved me to the Jacuzzi tub room which was nice, but then after they did not fix the problem they put me back into the same hot room.”

• Had a good continental breakfast, microwaves and refrigerators in room nice.
• Really would have preferred one king size bed but not an issue.

“Was very comfortable hotel. Located close to sagebrush. Good location. Would stay there again and was nice have refrigerator and microwaves in room. Would recommend and was very good for the price.”

• Nice staff.
• Hotel needs overhaul was clean but old looking.

“The hotel was as expected for a 2 star. Could have had more variety on the continental breakfast. Rooms were clean but "old" and could use a major overhaul. Staff was very friendly though.”

“In May 2007 they are in the process of renovation and it looks great on the outside but inside rooms need much work still. Public spaces are good overall but some glitches like the doors don't open for room access. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The breakfast was as bad as they come.”

• Very friendly staff. Exceptional service.
• Is a bit difficult to find.

“I would highly recommend this hotel. The room and service was tremendous. It was clean, quiet, and offered the best continental breakfast that I have ever had at a hotel, including the more pricey places that I have stayed.”

• Not much.
• Rooms had "previously smoked in" stale smell.

“Our daughter and spouse didn't feel good. There was a bus load of seniors staying there, and in the morning, the lodge couldn't handle the number of people wanting the continental breakfast. Also felt the location was not as good as others.”

• The bed was horrible, old; bathtub was in desperate need of replacing.

“You could tell that the hotel was old and in need of renovating. The bed was the most horrible bed that I have ever slept on. The bathtub was old, dirty looking and cracked. I have stayed in a courtyard by Marriott for a cheaper rate and was a plus accommodation.”

• I liked the breakfast.
• I did not like the smell. The whole wing smelled like smoke.

“I was happy with the look of the hotel and the breakfast. I did not like the location, which was way off the freeway and we got lost trying to find it. There was no signage to help us at all. Also, I did not like the smell. Our wing was nonsmoking, but the whole wing still smelled bad, like the rooms used to be smoking or something.”

• Hotel served as good value for the money. Adequate continental breakfast.
• No elevator, bathroom had cobwebs and mold in shower.

“Staff was friendly on phone and in person. Rooms were value priced: Adequate value for the Continental breakfast adequate. Rooms were spacious for four adults. Staff was attentive to consumer requests for extra towels and hygienic needs of razor/shaving cream and sewing kit. Pets were allowed to roam the hotel. Bathroom showed wear and tear with cobwebs and mold in shower. No elevator. Air conditioning was not working properly in room.”

• Continental breakfast was excellent.
• Handicap bathroom in our room was not really great.

“Our room overall was excellent. The bathroom needed some work to be truly handicap accessible (the toilet was low with bars, and tub in particular--really Narrow, high and one bar going up/down right where you had to stand for the water from the shower to hit you.) The hotel was very clean, the pool area was great, and the continental breakfast was wonderful. The staff was friendly.”

“My room was dirty-my kids found a cigarette laying on the floor in a non smoking room, the floor looked like it needed to be vacuumed, the bathroom was dirty-found hair in the tub, the walls had what looked like nose snot on them and tracks of stuff that had run down the walls and never wiped.”
