• Staff treat you like a number.

• Convenient location, moderately clean room.
• Staff unprofessional, breakfast.

“Staff was not friendly but not rude. Staff very unprofessional in appearance (tank top, piercing, tattoo, etc) and manners. Room was mostly clean as well as lobby. The breakfast was horrible. The dining area very dirty. All available tables were cluttered with dirty dishes. My husband stomped down the trash. I cleaned the bar area where food and drinks were spilled. We did not eat we left with other travelers just as turned off as we were. Not the worst place I have ever stayed, but could have been so much better with just a little effort on hiring appropriate staff.”

“This was a 2 star hotel. The mattress had recently been replaced, but the old sheets did not fit the new mattresses. The fitted sheets kept popping off the mattresses during the night. Our bed was lower at the head than at the foot, which made you feel extremely uncomfortable. In fact, my husband ended up sleeping on the floor the second night. The tile in the bathroom was broken and the floor dirty around the edges. I would not recommend this hotel to friends.”

• We were able to get to our rooms conveniently, breakfast was free.
• Unfriendly, unhelpful staff at reception desk.

“The first day out on our week long vacation and we were excited due to the fact we were going to a Ramada. We were very surprised to be greeted by a person who did not want to wait on us. We tried to be pleasant with her but she did not show any type of a welcoming atmosphere at all. The body language showed us we were to wait until she was finished doing her paper work. Usually the hotels are wonderful. This one was disappointing.”

“First room that we were given had not been made up! The replacement room was not well cleaned. Carpet moist (walking to bed in bare feet - feet were sticky). Glasses were not clean (could see lipstick on them) - seemed like a quick rinse in the bathroom sink.”

• Well worth the money. Next evening we stayed at a more expensive hotel and it stunk compare to this one.
• Can't think of a thing.

“Can't beat it. Decent breakfast that was included with the stay. Free newspaper. I would stay there again.”

• There is a great lounge with pool tables and good atmosphere!
• Bathroom floor could had cleaner tile slightly unclean.

“This Ramada is a very good place to stay. The location is very good with easy access to major interstate, it is next to travel services for gas and other, the room was clean and attractive, the hotel staff courteous, I loved the lounge and restaurant on site. The lounge provides the traveler a great in-house spot to hang-out, shoot some pool, meet with friends. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to anyone wanting a great stay at a low cost!”

• Cleaning staff very loud outside of room in a.m.

“Good location older style hotel, but in clean well kept condition. The only complaint was that the cleaning staff needs to understand that loud talking on the side walk and common areas is disturbing to guests.”

• Staff was very friendly.
• I had to tell the girl that the waffles were moldy at the continental breakfast, so she threw them away and opened a new package.

“When I called to confirm a non smoking room because I am allergic to smoke, even went to the room and check it out before we arrived to make sure no one had smoked in the room. I would like to commend her to you. She went beyond the call. I cannot remember her name but she had only worked at the hotel a few weeks.”

“The appearance of the lobby is deceiving when it comes to representing the hotel overall. My room was very dingy and the carpet had not been swept in the corners for a period of time. The overall appearance was less than what I expected based on previous stays at similar hotels and star ratings. The mattress was very worn.”

• Coffee did not have a filter, shower curtain was not out far enough.

“We were only given 3 large towels for the 4 of us. Pillows were not firm but the bed was okay. Although the room was older, it was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again but I will bring my own coffee filters just in case.”

“We could hear the people next door coughing and sneezing all night - walls way too thin. Curtains hardly covered window so had to put luggage on both ends to block the lights of cars at night coming in room. One night was plenty!”

• I didn't like anything about it accept the desk clerk was nice.
• Bed was the worst I ever slept in. sheets came off bed, air fluctuated

“They would not refund difference. This hotel was in an incontinent location. Difficult to find. The bed was terrible. Asked for two doubles or queen. Got one double, hotel was the worst experience ever. The bed was very uncomfortable. The sheets easily came off the bed. Hotel was completely booked so could not change rooms. Restaurant on premises was awful. The wait staff was nice, but the milk was spoiled. They need a health inspector. Several other hotels in the area seemed much nicer. Had I not paid already, I would have changed hotels. I would have done better to drive all night than stay here.”

“My husband and I needed a place to sleep for the night while traveling to the races in Charlotte NC. This was fine for a one night visit, but I wouldn't book this hotel for a vacation or for more than one night.”

• Awful mattress, thin towels.

“While the lobby was attractive, we were put in the back of the hotel. It was dark (several of the lights in the parking lot were out) and we were the only car. The room was shabby, the mattress awful, thin towels, minimal amenities, etc. In the morning when asked how we enjoyed the stay and we responded the clerk asked "Why did they put you in the old section? The rest of the hotel has been renovated". ”

“The staff was nice however they gave me a smoking room 1st off and that had to be switched. The second room was old, dirty, and had lots of mold in the bathroom.”

• It was in a perfect location, right off the Interstate.
• The hotel was understaffed. The staff was horrible.

“We asked for a rollaway bed at check-in around 6pm. She charged me $10.00, which I paid in cash. She didn't give me a receipt, just told me I didn't need one. Despite several calls to housekeeping & 2 visits back to the front desk, we didn't get the rollaway until well after midnight. Same thing with bath towels.”

• Bed linen did not fit bed and floors needed cleaning and bed linen had stains.

“It was a great location, however, the fact the bed sheets were too small and the floor had not been cleaned made us fill a little funny. It did have nice bath.”

• The young woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.
• My wife and I do not feel safe in hotels that have outside room doors.

“This is simply a place to sleep with no frills. However, I thought it was a little pricey for that.”
