• It had a good breaskfast.
• They did not respond to an emergancy! Someone trying to enter our room at 1AM..

“The phycical plant is fine, except entry is a little strange. However they have not trained their staff in full courtecy and in emergancy situations. One glarring error was the night desk manager,(found otu later he was not the manager he said he was), argued with me the customer about calling the police when I requested the police to come. We had no other way out of the room if anyone had gained entry as the sliding glass doors were bolted shut. It was a very scary and unnerving event for us.”

• It looked and smelled clean. The staff was great. Loved the free breakfast. Stayed an extra night at full price, which was still a good deal.

“My dog and I really enjoyed our stay and I was nervous about the dog at first. But he was happy and the staff was very accomodating to my pet and had everything I needed there.”

“The hotel was okay---but I myself was disappointed wanted on the beach....close drive but I have stayed at the Hiltons for less then this hotel but I assumed nothing was available. Being so close to the airport the hotel was quiet. Expected lots of noise from the jets. The hotel continetal bkfst was great for my family, after they ate they were able to go swimming in there pool....in fact I would rate this hotel higher then the Adams Mark that I recently stayed in, in Indianapolis...”

• Not the typical LaQuinta. An old rehab

• The service was good and fast when I checked in.
• The room was not cleaned when we were out.

“The hotel was not bad but I would have liked to see where the hotel was located before I had to pay. I wante to be on the beach and the hotel was behind a bicker bar that we had to drive through to get to the room. On a good note the hotel room was nice and the rest of the hotel was clean we just did not get our room cleaned.”

• Hotel policy for imprinting credit cards

“I had a real problem with the staff taking my credit card number for incidentals. It wasn't so much the taking of the number, it is what they are doing with it after your stay. The number is imprinted on the back of the registration form and (believe it or not) this form is kept for 5 years. That means your credit card number is very vulnerable for MANY staff that may come in contact with that number for at least 5 years after your stay. I asked them to black out the credit card information. Whether they did or not, I don't know. I have been a victum of identity theft, and don't want to go through that again. I don't know how you can help. But somehow, this needs to be brought to the attention of the customers. Their staff was polite, and only reacting to management policy.”

• Free wireless high speed internet is available.
• Hallway and rooms smelled funny. Drapes don't close.

“Excellent location, close to Speedway and Airport. With that you will get the associated noises. Free high speed wireless internet was a nice bonus.”

• It was clean, comfortable and located conveniently near north/south/east&west major highways with a good eatery on site
• The parking lot filled quickly in the evening with trucks & trailers

“A clean well kept hotel with pool and nightlife (till midnight) on the premises. Located on a main artery into daytona beach near the speedway and airport with easy access to well known stores, resteraunts and pubs.”

• Run Down, room very smokie when it was a non smoking room

“We have stayed at this hotel before. The hotel seems to be becoming run down. The non-smoking room had been smoked in. The room smell made me sick and I got a very bad headache. The front desk offered to move us but they did not another room near our childrens room. We did get some spray to spray in the room that helped some.”

• Clean. Friendly staff. Nice location.
• Worst sleep. Old bed sheets. Cardboard blanket. TV remote broken. Needs more food variety. Under staffed. Missing manager.

“We blame our worst sleep and wasted time spent at this hotel on management. Check in time took over 1 hour. Clerk was by herself. I asked for manager. Was told not there. Went to room looked nice and clean then went to pool where there was no towels.”

• Clean, great location.
• Worst sleep in any hotel. Sheets did not fit bed. 1 hour to check in. 1 hour to get pool towels. TV did not work. Not enough food for breakfast.

• The only thing I liked was that it was kind of in Daytona Beach
• The location was horrible for a vacation. Not very clean.

• We had two things broken in the room and they were fixed in 1 hour.

“The staff was very helpful and courteous from the Registration, operator, housekeeping to maintenance. The continental breakfast was fresh and kept up with, even though the hotel was completely full. Pleasurable experience. Would stay again.”

• The maid did not vacuum our room.
