“This hotel was very clean, neat, and in good condition. Secure. The pool area was well kept. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Jessica from Dothan, AL
“Overall the hotel meet my expectations. If I wanted to stay at an upscale resort there were other options. The bed/pillows were soft and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay there.” Jul 10, 2008 by
Joe from Shalimar, FL
“All was good.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Wayne from St. John'S, NF CA
“I was quite impressed with the quality of the hotel. It was better than I expected for the price.” May 9, 2007 by
Lois from Tampa
“The first room they tried to give us was in the old part of the hotel on the ground floor and the smell was terrible-mold/smoke/funk. I called the front desk and was informed the hotel was sold out (I do not believe that as the parking lot was virtually empty at 6:00 PM) but they would give us another room which turned out to be on the second floor facing the parking lot in a newer section. The room was fine but had no TV remote and an empty used drink cup on the night stand. We called about the remote, after a 30 minutes wait we called again and finally someone came. The next day there was no maid service by 5:00 pm. We called and were told the staff called off and there were only two maids for the entire building. As we had seen others carrying towels from the office, we simply got more towels and checked out the next AM. It is very poorly run but we got our money's worth. The breakfast included prepackaged pastries, waffled, bagels, hard boiled eggs, fruit but as things run out, they are not replaced. Get there early for the best selection. We walked to the Waffle House about a block for breakfast both mornings. Went to Daytona USA at the raceway and had a great time. This hotel is convenient but dirty and not adequately staffed. ” Apr 25, 2007 by

“One o the best places to stay in Daytona - courteous, clean and attentive. We were there during the Daytona 500 in fib 2006 and couldn¿t have been happier. Front desk clerk was extremely courteous and helpful during one of their busiest times. Planning on returning in 2008 and beyond as our experience was wonderful - no complaints!” Nov 14, 2005 by
Billy from San Antonio, TX
“The room seemed old. I believe the Hotel is in dire need of updating, TV was old, picture quality bad, bedspread was nasty.” Nov 13, 2005 by
Hiawatha from Las Vegas, NV
“When I arrived at my room the door was open. There were no towels and the remote control for the TV was missing. I don't know what else was missing, also the bathroom was not clean and the patio looked as if it had never been cleaned.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 10, 2005 by

“When I checked in the lady behind the desk acted like she had do idea what she was doing. When I got to my room the first thing that I noticed was that toilet seat was falling off. The patio door would not lock. There was no coffee packets and the coffee pot had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. When I returned Saturday night the bed had been made and that was all. Coffee pot filthy, no towels, floor not cleaned, again no coffee packets and the glass door to patio still would not lock.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Nov 9, 2005 by

“Hotel located in Daytona near the airport. Exterior looked fine. I experienced poor service and apparent disregard from hotel clerk and service personnel. On one of my beds, the pillowcases had hair on them. I filed complaint with La Quinta proper. Hotel assistant manager called me to apologize for my troubles. ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 6, 2005 by
John from Nottingham, PA
“The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was very desirable for my visit to Embry-Riddle University but the level of cleanliness was below my expectations for a La Quinta Inn.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 1, 2005 by
Al from Palmyra, NJ
“Please stay somewhere else. The room was awful. Sliding glass door was so dirty and falling apart I was afraid to go near it, and I'm very easy to please.” Oct 31, 2005 by
Marc from Honolulu, HI
“This was the most unpleasant hotel stay I've had in a while. Found it difficult to sleep knowing bed sheets were dirty, blanket was imbedded full of human hair, mouse or some kind of creature was running on the roof during the night, room had small cockroaches in it and bathroom had ants. ” Oct 19, 2005 by
Greg from Colleyville, TX
“Staff was very helpful. small morning breakfast with cereal, apples, bananas, some Danish was adequate for me. Unremodeled rooms were the problem. either too moldy or overly chemically cleaning, the odor was not acceptable. Wing House next door is a draw because of good food and visually pleasant wait staff.” Oct 11, 2005 by
Jennifer from Murfreesboro, TN
“I would never go back to this hotel ever. I felt that the 2 1/2 stars were very overrated. I made my children wear socks and shoes the whole time we were there because the floor which was carpeted felt very sticky. The whole room and bathroom were full of mold. The beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Not a good experience.” Sep 24, 2005 by
John from Galena, IL
“Aside from the negatives above which were because of lacking maintenance or oversight, it was OK. The continental breakfast was a definite highlight and the swimming pool was crystal clear. The hot tub was out of order.” Sep 14, 2005 by
Tom from Jacksonville, FL
“Good location, many restaurants nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean except for mold and dust in A/C unit and on vent cover in bathroom. Toilet flapper valve didn't seal right, causing toilet to run every few minutes. Staff said that many were like that and that they had valves on order. Closed bathroom door and that took care of the noise. Can hear planes landing and taking off at nearby airport occasionally.” Sep 12, 2005 by
Sandy from Jacksonville, FL
“Overall, a nice place to stay. The breakfast offerings were decent -- cereal, grits, fruit, bagels, etc... All of the entries required a keycard, which provided some additional security. The hotel is older and had a few flaws, but for an inexpensive, nice hotel with no unsavory surprises, LaQuita was just fine.” Sep 9, 2005 by
Marcia from Derwood, MD
“I wasn't please with the room due to the information I gave in #8. Also, I happened to be across a room that had children and couldn't believe that they were running around and making a lot of noise at 1 am . I don't know if there is something that can be done here, but I did not appreciate this at all. The hotel itself is great, so is the staff, breakfast is great and nice pool areas. However, I would like to suggest that there should be additional packs of sugar and cream for the coffee in the rooms. With one or two packs, a cup of coffee does not taste good at all doesn't taste like coffee. Thank you for asking.” Aug 24, 2005 by
Craig from Dunnellon, FL
“the beds were hard as a rock, they had a wing house bar at the hotel and there costumers filled the hotel parking causing geust to have to park away from the rooms. the rooms were very clean and they had a nice breakfast. i would rate this hotel at a 1 star rating not a 2.” Aug 22, 2005 by
Georgia from Holbrook, AZ
“The phycical plant is fine, except entry is a little strange. However they have not trained their staff in full courtecy and in emergancy situations. One glarring error was the night desk manager,(found otu later he was not the manager he said he was), argued with me the customer about calling the police when I requested the police to come. We had no other way out of the room if anyone had gained entry as the sliding glass doors were bolted shut. It was a very scary and unnerving event for us.” Aug 18, 2005 by
Aaron from Fort Lauderdale, FL
“My dog and I really enjoyed our stay and I was nervous about the dog at first. But he was happy and the staff was very accomodating to my pet and had everything I needed there.” Aug 7, 2005 by
Craig from Fort Lauderdale, FL
“Great Stay Overall,PERIOD!!” Aug 7, 2005 by
Bobbi from Fruitland Park, FL “The hotel was okay---but I myself was disappointed wanted on the beach....close drive but I have stayed at the Hiltons for less then this hotel but I assumed nothing was available. Being so close to the airport the hotel was quiet. Expected lots of noise from the jets. The hotel continetal bkfst was great for my family, after they ate they were able to go swimming in there pool....in fact I would rate this hotel higher then the Adams Mark that I recently stayed in, in Indianapolis...” Aug 4, 2005 by
William from Pearland, TX
“I believe that this hotel needs a face lift.” Jul 26, 2005 by
Will from Orlando, FL
“Rehabbed unexciting decor. Clean rooms, but nothing special at all.” Jun 28, 2005 by
Esther from Decatur, GA
“The hotel was not bad but I would have liked to see where the hotel was located before I had to pay. I wante to be on the beach and the hotel was behind a bicker bar that we had to drive through to get to the room. On a good note the hotel room was nice and the rest of the hotel was clean we just did not get our room cleaned.” Jun 28, 2005 by
Jim from Gautier, MS
“I had a real problem with the staff taking my credit card number for incidentals. It wasn't so much the taking of the number, it is what they are doing with it after your stay. The number is imprinted on the back of the registration form and (believe it or not) this form is kept for 5 years. That means your credit card number is very vulnerable for MANY staff that may come in contact with that number for at least 5 years after your stay. I asked them to black out the credit card information. Whether they did or not, I don't know. I have been a victum of identity theft, and don't want to go through that again. I don't know how you can help. But somehow, this needs to be brought to the attention of the customers. Their staff was polite, and only reacting to management policy.” Jun 27, 2005 by
Ruth from Soddy Daisy, TN
“great price and great location; near the speedway and good restaurants” Jun 18, 2005 by
Ben from Avon Lake, OH
“We would stay there again. the breakfast area was well maintained. will bring out own pillow next time.” Jun 16, 2005 by
Mary from Carmel, NY
“Excellent location, close to Speedway and Airport. With that you will get the associated noises. Free high speed wireless internet was a nice bonus.” Jun 12, 2005 by
Ken from Ocean City, NJ
“A clean well kept hotel with pool and nightlife (till midnight) on the premises. Located on a main artery into daytona beach near the speedway and airport with easy access to well known stores, resteraunts and pubs.” Jun 11, 2005 by
Tina from Raleigh, NC
“We have stayed at this hotel before. The hotel seems to be becoming run down. The non-smoking room had been smoked in. The room smell made me sick and I got a very bad headache. The front desk offered to move us but they did not another room near our childrens room. We did get some spray to spray in the room that helped some.” Jun 7, 2005 by
Zheqing from Atlanta, GA
“Overall, the hotel is good. They offer free breakfast, and even have a spa near the swimming pool.Although the building is a little old,but still clean.” Jun 7, 2005 by
Galen from Ithaca, MI
“We have come to like La Quintas because they offer upscale amenities at an economy motel price. Will definitely use again in the future.” Jun 2, 2005 by
Dennis V from Ronkonkoma
“We blame our worst sleep and wasted time spent at this hotel on management. Check in time took over 1 hour. Clerk was by herself. I asked for manager. Was told not there. Went to room looked nice and clean then went to pool where there was no towels.” Jun 2, 2005 by

“Needs to be spruced up". It's location (near Daytona International Speedway and attractions) would make it very popular but it needs some money and TLC."” Jan 24, 2005 by
