• Location. The evening drinks friendly & welcoming.
• Room smaller than anticipated for an American hotel. Less furniture would have made a huge improvement.

“The reception desk staff was friendly & efficient. The lobby very welcoming & well used. The breakfast was below standard of the hotel & the staff like disinterested robots.”

• It had charm and a great location. We loved the wine and cheese reception at 5:30 pm.
• Valet and on street parking

• Good location. Parking was convenient/valet was reasonable $15.00 per day.
• $15 to dry a beach towel! Most all rooms face a parking garage and only 2 or 3 face the park. Not any good views unless you get the park suite rooms.

“The hotel is in Historic district but the hotel itself is a re-model to appear historic. Walking distance to River St is not far and most restaurants are only a short walk. No need for vehicle unless you wish to visit Tybee Island for the beach. Beach is good but don't expect much as far as restaurants on the island itself. Very standard but enjoyed the beach - stay South of the pier to avoid big crowds.”

• The location was perfect, walking distance from River St. Staff was friendly. Lots of southern charm.
• Window in our room was broken. Shower head should be upgraded, no water pressure. View of parking garage, but that can't be helped.

“Staff was very welcoming and down to earth friendly. Room was comfortable enough, and the decor was attractive. Free wine and cheese was nice. The location was perfect with one of the Squares across the street and walking distance to most everything we wanted to do so we didn't have to worry about parking issues much. Would definitely stay here again.”

• Wonderful location.

“A very pretty, clean, friendly and accommodating stay. Perfect location on a quiet park a couple of blocks from the river front. Easy to walk almost every where we wanted to go. The front desk set up our tours for us.”

“In the heart of downtown Savannah. Within a few blocks one way is Lady and Sons and the other way is the river. Perfect location.”

• Was in the center of the historic city.
• The man who helped us park the car, did not listen to us at all.

• Excellent service and friendly staff.
• Valet parking made it difficult to retrieve items from my car.

“I selected this hotel from a recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. It was a very nice hotel in the heart of the historic district of savannah. It was a short walk to all parts of the district and our view onto the plaza was very nice. I really enjoyed the hotel and would not hesitate in returning.”

• They were extremely helpful with anything I asked. Beautiful room! Super clean!
• Breakfast was okay.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel and will probably stay here in the future at my annual convention. I loved the atmosphere, across from a square, the most helpful valet attendants that I have ever met. Every employee was extremely helpful. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend nod it!”

• Great room with a good view above 6th floor. Great location downtown.

• Exceptional service. Impressive evening wine/cheese reception.
• Wished the breakfast buffet had a microwave.

“Great location ... faces Reynolds Square, a quick walk to the riverfront and all historic points. And, it is next to my all-time favorite Savannah restaurant, the historic "Pink House". In fact, Pink House provides the room service meals. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The inn paid a lot of attention to detail: upscale toiletries, evening turndown service (ice, bottled water, and chocolates), complimentary evening social (wine and cheese) and complimentary breakfast. The service was polite, friendly and attentive. No complaints!”

“The staff was rude. The bell hop was extremely rude and unwilling to help. The valet service was very slow. The extra $10 a night for parking after already paying close to $200 a night for the room was tacky. You also could not get ice or anything else without calling for room service The location was the saving grace for this hotel, but there are others that are in as good of a location that would be much better”

• The Hotel was very organized and well kept by the staff.
• Breakfast was a little short on a standard American breakfast.

“The hotel was a pleasure to stay at. It is centrally located close to all the amenities and sites. As a young couple we were interested in the night-life, and the hotel's wine and cheese in the early evening hours was perfect before going out for a good dinner. It also allowed us to meet with others who were also visiting.”

“The hotel is very clean and the staff is professional. It's location in the historic district is very central and the valet parking is ideal. Although the hotel has an elegant feeling, we were never made to feel uncomfortable though we were traveling with an infant. We would definitely stay there again.”

• The location, wine and cheese in the evening, the feel of the hotel.
• The way we were treated when checking in.

“When we checked into the hotel and were taken to our room which faced a parking garage, we requested to have the room changed. It was made very obvious by the clerk that there were rooms available. Other than being treated like second class citizens at check in the other staff and the hotel itself was enjoyable.”

• Wonderful location and staff.
• Poor furniture layout in room, room needed painting.

“Excellent location and friendly, helpful, accommodating staff. Very limited scenic views, be sure and ask about this. Nice room but ours needed painting and did not lend itself to comfortably being able to see the TV from the beds. Restaurant next door, have had much better sea food at Red Lobster.”

• Nice, intimate decor, evening reception and breakfast a plus, clean, modern, friendly, helpful, well-located.
• In-between two parking garages, my daughter was afraid of reputed ghosts, price will be too high if I want to return specifically to this hotel.

“A superbly decorated, small but cosmopolitan hotel with friendly and helpful staff, an evening reception and morning hot breakfast, free wi-fi, near the very heart of Savannah with a lovely park and restaurant right outside.”

“My wife and I were just in town for one night and wanted a place that was convenient to the river and the historic district. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and atmosphere at the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in historic Savannah.”

• It's across from a beautiful square & the southern hospitality was superb.
• My room looked out on a parking garage.

“The hospitality was great. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We loved the decor and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The continental breakfast is above average. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family.”

“The hotel was perfect for our needs! The staff was incredibly courteous and friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate us. The location couldn't have been better either - within walking distance of the event we were attending! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will plan on staying there again in the future!”
