• I especially liked that it
  was clean and very orderly.
• They didn't have room service.

“We enjoyed our stay. We mostly just slept there because we were gone a lot site seeing. I wish there was room service. The housekeeping people threw away our gallon bottle of distilled water and when I called the front desk, they didn't make an attempt to ask to replace it.”

• The location was perfect, the room was clean and the parking lot well lit.
• The balcony was filthy.

“I was quite pleased. The location was perfect for our needs, the room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable, it was set back from the street so there was no noise from traffic. I felt secure and slept well. The breakfast at the restaurant was good as well.”

• It was a extremely quiet area.
• It was a 5 mile drive from the historic district.

“The Courtyard Midtown Savannah is adequate as a home base while visiting Savannah. The two rooms we reserved were average compared to other Courtyards. One had a microwave and one did not.”

• Clean rooms, friendly staff, and nice place.
• Not a great location.

“This is a great place for the price I paid. However, it was a 20 minute drive from any of the Savannah sites. I would recommend staying closer in to the historic district if you are a leisure traveler.”

“I booked 4 rooms. I called them after I made my reservation and requested rooms with 2 queen beds, and connecting rooms. They said they will try to accommodate us. When we got there they gave us 2 rooms on the 2nd floor and the other 2 rooms on the 3rd floor. None of the rooms were connecting. My brother who traveled with me has young children who he needed to keep close watch on. He needed connecting rooms.”

• Staff was very accommodating, good location.
• Beautiful pool area, but a sewer/septic smell was present most of the time. It was pretty awful!.

“My husband and I stayed at the hotel while our daughter attended a camp at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Everything was good, except the smell at the pool. Pool area looked beautiful, however, there was a sewer/septic smell we kept smelling while we were there. We had planned to spend the day at the pool, but I couldn't stand the smell. I have no idea what could cause that and I didn't see any vents, but it really should be checked into. Other than that we have no complaints. Free wireless was an added plus to the stay.”

• The hotel was clean and the room was a good size. The lounge was very nice.
• The breakfast was expensive, we thought it was free.

“The room was wonderful and the hotel was clean. The lounge area was great and the computers were helpful, but an ethernet cord was needed for the room. The breakfast was expensive, we were not happythat it was not free or cheap at least there was a cook, but I would have liked a simple free meal.”

• Super comfortable matress and pillows.
• No microwave, tiny fridge.

“This is a typical Courtyard hotel. The mattresses are extremely comfortable and the amenities are geared toward the business traveler. The staff at this hotel were not as accommodating as we are used to. We had to ask for towels on more than one occasion (There were 4 of us and only 3 towel sets) and at one point we had called twice for towels and finally had to go to the desk. They were just not in a hurry to meet our requests. Everything was clean and updated. This hotel has no vending machines, just a very pricey market. The breakfast is $10 per person for no more than the average deluxe continental breakfast at other chain hotels. Overall, it was a decent experience but if you are looking for family friendly amenities, you might want to look elsewhere.”

• The hotel was clean, our room clean as well, spacious, and in good location.
• Air conditioner was not working properly, not enough towels and supplies, not enough information regarding Savannah at hotel.

“Having never stayed at a courtyard by Marriott I was really impressed. The front desk staff were extremely nice to me and my daughter. The layout was nice, and for us the location next to a mall, shopping area while just a few minutes from the historic stuff, and downtown was nice. The hotel however has more of a business feel that let's stay a couple days and the air conditioner in the room did not work well so it was really hot at night. Overall it was a good.”

• The room was large and nicely appointed, the bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean.

• Desk help was great. They got maps to give direction to see sites.
• The room was not cleaned by 5:30 P.M. one day.

“The room was comfortable. Personnel at the hotel were friendly and very helpful in finding different locations in Savannah. The room was not cleaned one day. We left for breakfast, back for about an hour, then gone for the afternoon. We just got towels and we were fine. They asked if we wanted it made up then, but we were ready to settle in and relax for the night. The next day, the room was cleaned very well again.”

• Free internet was an asset along with the business center with printer.
• Overpriced breakfast and the entrance was very hard to get too.

“For a three star hotel, we were expecting more. It was however in a nice location. The only drawbacks were the entrance was very hard to negotiate (there was also only one entrance/exit), and the breakfast was overpriced. The hotel was very helpful and friendly, though. They gave us suggestions for restaurants, and coupons for that restaurant.”

“I demand 2 things from a hotel - a clean bed and a hot shower. There was no hot water in the room. I had to endure a cold morning shower - not happy - I won't return to Savannah'e Marriott Courtyard on any of my monthly trips there.”

• Most of the staff was extremely helpful and always willing to accommodate you to the best of their ability.

“Our stay was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We asked for a rollaway bed and it was provided immediately at no charge. This hotel is very clean and orderly. The beds were comfortable.”

“The hotel was comfortable, clean, and quiet. There are a number of good restaurants close to the hotel, some within walking distance. Bring your own soap & shampoo as the staff only allow you one for 2 days.”

“The staff was very friendly and professional. I had a nice view and the sitting area in the room and balcony was attractive. My bed was low and the mattresses were not the best but I slept good anyways. Internet access was a plus as well as the exercise room that was available.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.

“While the location is not overly perfect if you are in Savannah for the Historic District, the shuttle service for trolley tours more than makes up for it. If you are looking for a good midpoint between the historic district and say Tybee Island than this is a perfect location. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.”

• The spa/whirlpool's water was warm - not hot. I prefer a hot tub.
  

“The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. The hot tub was not hot. The hotel is located within minutes from historical River Street and within 1/2 hour from Tybee Island. We have stayed here twice with our kids, and would love to come back. We feel safe leaving our teenage daughter to baby-sit our younger sons while we take a nighttime stroll on River Street, and the whole family loves time spent on the beach.

• I loved everything about it, especially the breakfast and the coffee maker.
• Street signage was small and hidden from one direction by a tree or shrub. We missed it and drove on about 4 miles.

“We were on our way home from Walt Disney World and had spent 8 nights in a value resort room. This Courtyard was so much nicer. More amenities, more comfortable beds and pillows, the hot tub, the coffee maker.”
