• Safe, affordable, modern, clean, comfortable bed.
• A little bit out of the way, shampoo and soap too fruit smelling.

“Very nice hotel. Comfortable bed, very nice couch, TV, frig. Pool area little bit small but nice. Room was pretty clean (could have been vacuumed a bit better). I would definitely recommend this hotel for the business or family traveler. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Great atmosphere. Exemplary staff.
• Nothing against the hotel. Convention of soccer kids made it hectic.

“This hotel would be perfect for he business traveler. The tranquil colors of the lobby and the rooms allow the traveler to ease into a relaxing evening after a hard days work. The morning and evening staff emit that level of professionalism that I would expect from a resort. I will be staying at a Hyatt Place again if the area I visit has one.”

• LCD TV visible to sofa or bed. Spacious room.
• Temperature control difficult with old fashioned room heater/ AC unit.

“This is my first time to check in a hotel via a kiosk. Very impersonal welcome but efficient, dispensed our keys quickly. The room felt spacious with partial wall separating the living area from the king size bed. Lots of counter space near sink. Nice continental breakfast, easy checkout. Would definitely like to stay here again.”

“The staff was very attentive. The room was excellent. The living space was comfortable (and my husband thought the TV was fantastic). The bedroom area was great - comfy bed, lots of quality pillows. There was also a large vanity area, which was convenient as my husband and I were both getting ready in the morning.”

• The room layout, TV and bed were awesome! Very comfortable.
• The room was not as clean as I would prefer.

“Overall my stay was great. The rooms are quite unique. The bed was extremely comfortable and the huge TV was really a nice amenity. I felt very good about my stay. If I had one complaint I'd say it was cleanliness. The towels, linens and furniture were very clean. But, the carpet has some serious spots and the bathroom counter top had an odd sticky substance in some spots. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“This was my first stay at a Hyatt place hotel. I t was wonderful. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was very clean and inviting. My 2 boys had a ball. I plan to return and will recommend to friends and family.”

• The rooms were really nice and very spacious. Everyone was super nice.
• It would have been nice to have a sit down restaurant onsite. They had a cafe that was it.

“Everything met or exceeded my expectations. The rooms were very big with a great TV for the end of the night relaxation. The couch that was in the room was also very comfortable. I could have slept on the couch if I wanted to. That's how nice it was. Everything in the hotel was also really convenient. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• Very attractive guests room, pleasant helpful staff, eager to please guests.
• Prefer more breakfast options; felt menu items were too expensive, new concept.

“This hotel is modern, efficient with an amazing staff. Each person I encountered was very helpful, gave thorough information in a professional yet friendly manner. The attention to not only myself but I observed how skillfully they dealt with everyones needs. Rooms are very nice, missing some toiletries and would love to see robes. Nice!”

• We just wish we could have gotten more for breakfast without being charged additional money to get a hot entree.

“We would enjoy staying at this hotel again. The computer system was down when we checked in, and the hotel staff did a good job handling the inconvenience. We enjoyed the large room and refrigerator.”

• Kind of difficult to get to and from the highway but not too bad.

• Mike, the Asst. Mgr. & his staff went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable, especially when we needed directions and restaurant suggestions.
• Absolutely was a wonderful stay - No Complaints here.

“We would definitely stay here again. The price was reasonable and the room was clean and spacious. As stated the staff was eager to please and the continental breakfast was perfect. Please let the hotel staff knows that we appreciated their hospitality.”

• Very slow elevator. Has its benefits depending on the company in the elevator.

“Very quaint rooms with adequate space for relaxation. Daily maid service to replenish toiletries, towels, make up bed, etc. USA today under the door throughout the business week. Nice fitness room with modern equipment. Attentive staff. New facility, continental breakfast available.”

“Good value for the money spent. The free breakfast buffet had no muffins or sweets, but was healthy and had good coffee. There is a Cracker Barrel right across the parking lot.”

“Would not hesitate to stay there again. Close enough to town to get to events conveniently, yet for enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle of Columbia. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Comp breakfast area was small but not to worry, as Cracker Barrel was just out the front door.”

• Bathroom too small.

“The Hyatt Place Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. We were expecting allot less from a 2 1/2 hotel in decor, and friendliness of staff due to the time of the visit. Boy, were we wrong! The location was excellent! Less than three miles from the mall and every restaurant imaginable. The decor was great with muted greens and contempt casual design. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We WILL stay there again.”

• The morning clerk was very friendly and brightened my day.
• There were no smoking areas or rooms inside the building.

“I was very pleased with the hotel as a whole. It would have been nice to know that they do not have smoking rooms. I don't know if this would have influenced my decision to stay there. It was a chilly night and I had to go downstairs and outside each time I wanted to smoke. We checked in late (about 11pm) and the clerk was not terribly polite (but well short of being rude). The morning clerk more than made up for this with her cheerful attitude and very friendly demeanor. Finally, the bed was comfortable. I woke up as refreshed as if I had slept in my own.”

“My first stay at Hyatt place. I love place! It was modern and beautiful. It was great having a large sectional in the hotel room (I think it was approx. 8 ft). We liked that the sleeping space was separated from the couch area. I would highly recommend this hotel to even the snootiest of travelers.”
