• Close to freeway and restaurants.
• Nothing - good location and value.

“Free continental breakfast was a nice bonus. Rooms were clean and the property was well maintained. Recommended for a 2 star property.”

• Nice location - close to interstate and restaurants.
• I wish the pool was indoors. I wish there was a hot tub as well. Breakfast area should have a waffle maker.

“This hotel is located right off the interstate. It is very convenient to get to. It is also very close to many restaurants. It is very close to Tamarack. The breakfast was nice, but I wish there was a waffle maker. The outdoor pool was too cold to get into for my tastes even though the air temperature was warm that day. All in all, it was a nice hotel.”

“This hotel was perfectly fine for a quick overnight stay. The breakfast in the morning was good, the room was pretty clean. The only complaint I have is that the staff was less than friendly.”

• I liked the location being close to the interstate and all the restaurants.
• I wish the pool had been indoors and there had also been a hot tub.

“It was a nice hotel for the money. I like the hot breakfast that was offered. It was nice to have biscuits and gravy. I wish there had also been one of those waffle makers. It would have been nice to have had an indoor pool with a hot tub.”

• The beds were awesome!
• Our feet stuck to the carpet in the room.

“Overall, the hotel was a lot better than I expected. We will definitely remember our stay at the Hampton Inn and it will be very likely that we will stay there again when the need comes.”

• The hotel was clean and attractive. Had very little wear and tear. Good location, good places to eat.
• Room had two double beds that seemed very small for my husband and I. We both had backaches in the morning.

“Check in and out was very easy. Staff friendly. Had a pool that was clean. Room was nice and clean. Liked decor and bedding. Did not have a king size bed available. The beds in the rooms with two double beds are too small and a little uncomfortable. Convenient too many eateries.”

• Smell of cigarette smoke in non-smoking room.

“Just off the interstate highway in Beckley. Very nice room for the price. The beds were as good as you would hope to find in 4 and 5-star hotels.”

• Wished I could have added a night but it was sold out.

• The breakfast area was crowded and not set up for larger families.

“This was a very nice hotel and we got a good price for a very nice room. The staff were quite friendly even after contacting them four times in one evening for assistance. The beds were also very comfortable and they had the "Animal Planet" channel.”

“For a two star, Hampton Inn in Beckley was very impressive. It seemed pretty new-everything was clean and in good working order. The breakfast was fantastic, alot of variety and quality. The bed linens were also very clean (and New) looking; this is very important to me and my family!”

• It was available on a short notice and along our travel route.
• Room smelled musty, simple amenities on room not found.

“It was not worth the price paid. Old hotel with musty rooms. Pool very dirty. Nothing special.”

• Very clean, and the beds were nice and comfortable and big fluffy pillows

“Great! Beds are comfortable and have big pillows, staff are very friendly and pleasant. The only downside was no fridge or microwave but the front desk offered us to use the micro in lobby or employee fridge for medicine or baby bottles.”

• I was impressed at the cleanliness as I was worried that for the price we were going to be staying something less than desireable.
• It would have been nice to have an indoor pool as well as an outdoor.
