• Staff was not friendly.

“I would not stay at this hotel again. Our first room was flooded and smelled horrible. The second room did not have enough towels and the coffee pot was broken. The staff was not friendly at all.”

• Friendly staff, convenient and comfortable bed.
• We didn't have a remote and there was no bath tub.

“Overall the experience was good. The only thing that would have made it better was that there was no remote for the TV and there was only a stand-up shower in our room. Otherwise I think the room was nice.”

• Hotel desk staff took time to find out reason for hotel stay and accommodated us accordingly with a very private room for 2.
• Shower only, no tub, burn marks in bed comforter and slight mildew smell to shower.

“I was stressed from daily responsibility of being a registered nurse and was in need of some "us" time for sag other and myself. We decided to have a micro-vacation and stay in St. Augustine, (how romantic). Your staff member really took time to find out reason for our stay and she accommodated us with a room that was away from others for maximum privacy. She was very intuitive and thus enhanced our very small vacation. Our experience was remarkable. Thanks for a great night.”

“It was a nice hotel. Didn't use the pool because I ride a motorcycle when in st. Augustine. Conveniently located to the beaches and downtown clubs. Staff was local and know the best dining. Gypsy cab restaurant is a winner for all.”

• Breakfast was provided.
• Our room smelled terrible, even after we "Febreezed" it.

“It would have been much better for us to have a non-smoking room, as we are both not smokers. However, when we booked the room online, we were never asked whether we wanted a smoking room or non smoking room. Unfortunately, the hotel was completely booked during our stay, making it impossible for us to change rooms. This is the only (but major) complaint we had.”

• The shuttle picked us up for all the attractions. It was clean and well kept.

“It was a good hotel. It was between the beach and the attractions downtown. I felt as though it was a safe and secure place to stay and we enjoyed the trip. It was nice to have shuttle pick up for the downtown attractions. We enjoyed the visit and would stay there again.”

• The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
• The bed linens were not changed in the first room I was given. The bed was simply remade.

“I was sadly disappointed in this hotel. The first room I was given was only partially cleaned. The floor was not vacuumed, the shower had opened shampoo bottles, used soap, and a dirty washcloth in it, and the bed was not changed, only remade. The cleaning staff was not doing its job, and this was confirmed by the desk staff who admitted to problems with the cleaning staff. The desk staff, however, was very accommodating, and quickly found a new room for me and accompanied me to ensure that it met my satisfaction before leaving. If this hotel would get better cleaning staff, I would consider staying here again. Otherwise, there are plenty of other options.”

• The fact that I was even able to get a room in that city on that particular weekend.
• It was too crowded with guests, I could not get the wireless internet to work, and I couldn't even get the dial-up to work.

“It did not deliver on the wireless internet access, it was treacherous to get into if you are heading northbound (have to make a difficult U-turn.) The complimentary breakfast area was too small and crowded.”
