• The staff was very friendly, they were very clean, and they had shuttle service!
• No restaurant within decent walking distance.

“This hotel was very nice and very clean. The staff went out of there way to answer all of our questions and accommodate all of our needs. The shuttle even to use to dinner and picked us up when we were ready. The pool was very nice, also. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable.”

• I had a suite and we brought back our dessert but there was no silverware to use in our suite.

• Their breakfast was good, and had great choices, real food scrambled eggs and sausages.
• Noticeable hair on the sheets, and the upgrade for double beds.

“The Amerisuites Orlando Airport is a nice place to stay, however we did run into a problem with the room fridge not working and water from the shower leaking into the room onto our luggage. Told management who in returned gave us passes to stay again on the hotel and took of my upgrade charge for double beds. I thought that was nice.”

• The furniture was torn and worn.

“The breakfast is good and the front desk staff is helpful. The room on the other hand was full of worn and torn furniture. The room smelled funky. A mix between fried bacon, smoke and moisture found in a room with a wall unit. The bed looked/felt so worn that I chose to sleep in the chair. I was very disappointed with the room.”

• Pleasant large pond at entry, inviting. Large parking lot.
• Entry a bit hard to find.

• Location was great. Front desk personnel were very helpful.
• Pillows need to be replaced. Loud air conditioner that kept turning on and off all night.

“Ok for one night. Close to airport. I would see it more as a 2 star instead of 21/2 star facility. Room could be more comfortable with new beds and pillows. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

• Front desk staff was all pleasant.
• Some staff (dining room) was not people friendly.

“As mentioned above, the front desk staff (in particular Fabiola) was very people friendly and down to earth, yet professional and kept a smile on her face. Sara needs to smile a little more - it takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown.”

• The location to my meeting and to area restaurants was excellent.
• The parking area is limited.

“For the purposes of my business meeting, the location of this hotel was excellent. Restaurants are within walking distance. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I only stayed for one night, so I did not use the hotel restaurant.”

• I did not like the fact that the hotel charged me an additional ten dollars a night to get a room with two double beds.

• It was all I needed and it was very affordable. Exactly what I was looking for.
• Front desk could have been a little brighter/more receptive to guests at check in, but admittedly she was very busy.

“My room was quite large. A tiny bit worn around the edges, but pleasant enough for my purposes this trip. The kitchen suite was a bonus, I would have appreciated very much had I been staying longer. Continental breakfast was very good and free wireless was appreciated.”

• TV remote broken, worn out AC unit, needed painting.

“The location was excellent. The hotel was efficient, but probably appropriate for the star level. The breakfast was good, but the area it was served in was a mess, a big mess. The room was a nice layout, very spacious, but the ceiling had stain marks on it, the AC unit was worn out, but overall, good for a one or two night stay. It was luxurious, but it was the perfect location near the airport and rental car drop off location.”

• Poor choice of TV channels.

“I thought the hotel was nice. Very attractive grounds and neighborhood. Close to everything: shopping, airport, restaurants, highway, etc. Friendly staff and excellent FULL breakfast every morning. You will have to pay more if you want to "upgrade" to 2 beds vs. one King. Our room had a very slow draining bath tub. Loved having the kitchenette in the room, along with table and work area (with WiFi). Great price for a great room!”

“This hotel is awful! It is now owned by Hyatt and it does not meet their standards. The amenities of Portico were great! However, the room itself was terrible! The bedding was dirty and the room itself was dirty! I woke up with ant bites on my legs and hands. There were also ants, all over the night stand when I woke up!”
