“The Hotel has good precentation and friendly staff, rooms are O;K need some up date on furniture, but for a Holyday inn was good enough.” Jun 15, 2009 by
Mark from Australia
“Great value for money hotel, located in comfortable proximity to airport and other hotels, though quiet area. Lobby is inviting and overall upon entrance into car park through to check in is seemingly pleasant. Rooms are spacious and clean, complimentary wireless Internet in rooms is great for anyone not just the business traveler. The only things I can see need improvement are, lack of staff during busy periods, check in process takes long and staff on the phone while checking guests in, though friendly even when busy, and there is no direct telephone number to call complimentary airport shuttle, no newspaper to room for both days of stay, location of our room was right next to lobby and at times you could hear noise from lobby area.” Jun 1, 2009 by
Mark from Oklahoma City,OK
“This hotel is close to the airport and is priced below the average for the quality you get.” Jan 4, 2009 by
Lei from Gainesville,FL
“Room was too small, TV small and very old, no fridge! No microwave! No coffer! No newspaper! Even no space for the coffee maker which was put in the bathroom. No internet in room (just a few computers in lobby). Staff not friendly at all, did not get any yes when asked for shower caps, pillows. No complimentary breakfast! A breakfast buffet charging $11/person, which is not worth of it at all!” Nov 24, 2008 by
Ed from Smyrna,TN
“I have stayed at this hotel before and have always had a good experience, unless staying in a room on the first floor. The higher the floor, the better the quality of the room. This hotel also offers free internet access which is great for the business traveler.” Sep 11, 2008 by
Helena from New Haven, CT
“Hotel is in a very convenient location, less then 3 miles from MCO. Very nice and clean room. Friendly staff.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Linda from Richmond, BC CA
“This hotel was very dirty.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Philene from Bryan, TX
“The lady at the front desk was the best I have ever done business with. She was so helpful in our check in and getting our boarding passes for us. The pool area was nice and enjoyable, after being in Orlando a week and finally got some sun. The room was comfortable as were the beds. Our last night in Orlando after 9 days of rain was really very nice.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Nadine from Clifton Park, NY
“Surprised at the older air conditioning unit as the rest of the room was new and attractive.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Ed from Smyrna, TN
“I have stayed at this hotel a few times. It is nice and acceptable for a 3 star hotel. The higher the floor, the better the room seems to be. If you are on the first or second floor, the rooms tend to be lower quality. I stayed on the 6th floor this trip and it was nice.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Paul from Cambria Heights, NY
“Did not experience everything of hotel because out in the community. Good location to airport & family restaurants. Pool needs to stay open longer (at least on weekends). Overall quite clean. No snack machines, only soda. No game room.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Charles from Hernando, FL
“Registration takes place in a spacious, attractive atrium style lobby, which also serves a space for the restaurant. The desk staff was efficient and helpful. The room was attractively decorated and the temperature was controlled thermostatically. The bed was comfortable. The parking area was not very convenient, but adequate.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Kristine from Ottawa, ON CA
“Rooms was rather plain, but bed was comfy. You need to ask for nicer pillows. Wireless hook up for internet, but no direct access. Service at front desk was lacking. Conveniently located across the street from a Denny's and TGI Fridays.” Jul 14, 2008 by
Malita from Bargersville, IN
“The hotel was lovely. It has a beautiful entrance and many conveniences. Pool and hot tub setting were beautiful. Room was clean and spacious with a large counter and tub in the bathroom. Computer in lobby was perfect for printing our boarding passes!” Jul 3, 2008 by
Terence from Bradenton, FL
“Extremely close to airport and within walking distance of a few restaurants. Rooms were spacious and well kept but there was a faint smell of smoke even though I was in a non-smoking room. Over all it was a good experience.” Jul 2, 2008 by
Tina from Osyka, MS
“Overall, hotel met expectations. Staff and cleaning staff very helpful, polite, respectful and pleasant.” Jun 29, 2008 by
Limei from Chattanooga, TN
“It is not a 3 star up-scale hotel.” Jun 9, 2008 by
Sarah from Lincoln, NE
“Location was great close to the airport. Free parking was nice. Lobby area was about the extent of the 3 star hotels. Room is no different than staying at a Super 8 except no free breakfast here. Very thin walls so was able to hear everything in the hallway & neighbors room all night long.” Jun 8, 2008 by
Gayle from Dallas Center, IA
“Close to the airport, nice pool, but when we left something behind and tried to talk to housekeeping staff, it had not been turned in. They called back after checking with the staff who cleaned the room (on the same day) before 2 PM and they did not find it. We flew home directly after and know it was left in that room. It left a sour taste at the end of our vacation; we had stayed 6 other nights at Holiday Inn.” Jun 7, 2008 by
Natasha from Winder, GA
“Drains were clogged- key card kept deactivating- rooms were tiny-room smelled like vomit the whole weekend- wit staff at bar/lounge was rude and took along time to take our order. Morning buffet was awesome though and the wit staff there was phenomenal.” Jun 4, 2008 by
Nanci from Encinitas, CA
“This hotel was clean; the staff was very helpful and friendly. Super location, walking distance to several restaurants. Free airport shuttle. Beautiful pool with plenty of lounge chairs, tables and towels, also had a pool side phone where you could order food from the hotel restaurant and have it delivered to the pool. Desk and comfortable bed and chairs in the room, but would have preferred queen beds to the 2 doubles.” Jun 1, 2008 by
Gladys from Half Moon Bay, CA
“In general, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Food was good although service was slow in later evening hours. Nice large rooms and comfortable beds. Limited TV service (basic cable). I would stay there again.” May 30, 2008 by
Beth from The Villages, FL
“Great hotel and would recommend it to fellow friends and family.” May 29, 2008 by
Jimmi from Saint Louis, MO
“Excellent hotel for business people, families, and seniors alike.” May 28, 2008 by
Cari from Otsego, MI
“The hotel was great. Well worth the money. The pillows were wonderful as was the bed. Would come back again.” May 26, 2008 by
Amy from Wexford, PA
“Rooms very pretty-but air conditioner way too loud. Nice to have Dennys next door, since breakfast buffet costly in hotel. Front desk very nice and helpful. Room service very nice.” May 18, 2008 by
April from Winsron-Salem, NC
“Nice, clean, friendly. Definitely a 3 star.” May 18, 2008 by
Doug from Bellevue, WA
“The hotel was well located for the business traveler and provided good value.” May 16, 2008 by
Ron from Sarasota, FL
“Very good hotel, as well as being given an executive suite on the 7th floor which only your door key would allow the elevator to ascent to, I received each morning a breakfast bag, much appreciated.” May 9, 2008 by
Karen from Spokane, WA
“Stayed one night prior to heading back home early the next morning. Initial appearance was fine. Staff upon check-in was polite. Room was disgusting. Bathtub and sink did not drain and backed up dirty water. I found toe nail clippings in the corner next to the bed on the floor. I am not sure if this room had truly been clean. We were grossed out! Made a complaint to front desk, but was only told they'd have some look into it. Thought about checking into another hotel, but we had an early departure so we decided to stay for the few evening hours.” May 9, 2008 by
Karen from Mead, WA
“I was surprised by the hotel itself. It was very nice. (Rated 3 stars). Room decor was updated, but it greatly needed some attention. Wallpaper was starting to peel off the wall. Curtains were starting to come off rods. Room had not been vacuumed in corner next to bed (toe nail clippings! Gross!) Bathroom just needed to be totally redone. The bathtub and sink barely drained, and backed up dirty water (gross!). I called maintenance, but never had any response. Needless to say, we took extremely fast showers, and kept shutting off the water during shampooing so the water wouldn't build up in the tub. Truly thought about changing hotels, but we had a 6:00 a.m. flight the next morning, so we decided to bear with it (as it was only for one night).” May 8, 2008 by
Sue from Palmdale, CA
“Staff and facility superior, location excellent, amenities particularly suited for business travelers.” Apr 26, 2008 by
Maryellen from Cranford, NJ
“Only flaw being the entrance and exit of the parking lot of the hotel” Apr 24, 2008 by
Myhanh from Sterling Heights, MI
“The hotel was nice, close to the airport with the nice swimming pool. The bathroom was a bit too old and didn't look clean and the air conditioning unit was too loud we had to turn off few time during the days and night because couldn't stand the noise.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Bobbi from Watertown, NY
“Very clean, close to airport. Didn't spend enough time to see facility, only overnight. None of us slept well but not due to hotel.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Angela from E. Stroudsburg, PA
“This hotel was nice. It was more than I expected out of a Holiday Inn. Clean and well maintained throughout. The rooms looked newer and clean. We only slept here as it was the night before our early morning flight. We were up at 4 am and didn't use any facilities. The staff that I came in contact with were extremely friendly and helpful though.” Apr 22, 2008 by
Claudia from Glastonbury, CT
“My wallet was stolen off the luggage cart while we were unloading bags into the room. The whole cart was gone and the hotel was very unhelpful in helping us. They said they would send security to investigate but they never did. Having just come from Disney (Saratoga Springs) I felt Disney would have been more responsive. I was very lucky to be able to board my plane since I did not have my driver's license. I understand that this is not considered a "good" area of Orlando, but one should not be encountering this type of problem in a hotel this upscale. Would never stay there again.” Apr 20, 2008 by
Bonnie from Lake Worth, FL
“Great room! Very nice pool and hot tub area. The gift store was well stocked with snack and food items.” Mar 23, 2008 by
Margie from Florissant, MO
“This hotel was better than I expected for a 3 star. The landscaping outside our window was very pretty. Pool and hot tub (with clean towels) there were available but we didnt get a chance to use them. Would stay there again.” Mar 23, 2008 by
Jeri from Gainesville, FL
“I hate the outside appearance of this hotel. It looks cheap. But once you walk in the lobby its very nice. Front desk personal are not always attentive and informed. Our room this time was OK. Key did not work, someone had to come and open door. When the door to the room was opened junk was on the floor. It felt like someone did not clean very well.” Mar 22, 2008 by
Drake from Anchorage, AK
“Holiday Inn Select has a great location. Very close to Orlando airport. Spacious rooms-ours had a couch, desk and king bed. Bedding very comfortable-pillow top mattress, down bedding, high thread count sheets. Free airport shuttle; many restaurants within easy walking distance. Pool and hot tub were clean and area neat. Only one negative was that the air conditioner in our room was very loud.” Mar 19, 2008 by
Lee from Toronto, ON CA
“We only stayed one night, but we made use of the pool and there were several restaurants close by to choose from for dinner.” Mar 4, 2008 by
Paul from Holliston, MA
“The hotel was centrally located and was convenient to the airport, amusement parks, shopping, and Orlando Downtown area. There was very quick access to major highways and thoroughfares to all points in Florida. Great real estate; nice hotel.” Jan 25, 2008 by
Jerilyn from Gainesville, FL
“The outside of this hotel is dated. The lobby is very nice. Front desk personnel not informed or efficient with directions or hotel policies, not paying attention to detail, not friendly. Room was dirty. Spread, bathroom. Dining was a good experience and the food was good.” Jan 7, 2008 by
Beth from East Palestine, OH
“The hotel was very nice and clean. The rooms were decorated nicely and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.” Jan 7, 2008 by
David from San Ramon, CA
“Excellent location near Orlando Int'l Airport. Walking distance to several restaurants.” Jan 6, 2008 by
Carrie from Saint Charles, MO
“This is a good hotel for business travel, or if you want a quality hotel for site seeing in Orlando, while still remaining budget conscious. We never had to worry about our safety, amenities are nice, and staff are friendly.” Jan 5, 2008 by
Melanie from Lagrange, GA
“The original room I was in had four major issues: poor ac, exterior door that didn't want to close, and a broken shower handle and no closet. Upon bringing the issues to the manager on duty's attention on the morning after the issues, she immediately changed my room! The first night I was told there was nothing they could do and I had to suffer through a rough night. After the manager moved me, I was extremely pleased with the hotel. It has a great deal of amenities to offer both a family and a business traveler.” Jan 4, 2008 by
Darlene from Bradenton, FL
“I made reservation for a party of 5 adults and one child for two rooms needing two beds in each room. The hotel gave me two rooms with one king bed in each room and refused to exchange them, neither would they give us a roll away, so one person slept in a chair!” Jan 2, 2008 by
Gisele from Madawaska, ME
“It was ok, but I would not stay again if I had a choice.”
