• far from everything if you are visiting the parks

• Very good feel from comfortable airport hotel, highly recommend.
• Understaffed at front desk during busy periods.

“Great value for money hotel, located in comfortable proximity to airport and other hotels, though quiet area. Lobby is inviting and overall upon entrance into car park through to check in is seemingly pleasant. Rooms are spacious and clean, complimentary wireless Internet in rooms is great for anyone not just the business traveler. The only things I can see need improvement are, lack of staff during busy periods, check in process takes long and staff on the phone while checking guests in, though friendly even when busy, and there is no direct telephone number to call complimentary airport shuttle, no newspaper to room for both days of stay, location of our room was right next to lobby and at times you could hear noise from lobby area.”

• Very close to MCO airport.
• Almost everything.

“Room was too small, TV small and very old, no fridge! No microwave! No coffer! No newspaper! Even no space for the coffee maker which was put in the bathroom. No internet in room (just a few computers in lobby). Staff not friendly at all, did not get any yes when asked for shower caps, pillows. No complimentary breakfast! A breakfast buffet charging $11/person, which is not worth of it at all!”

“I have stayed at this hotel before and have always had a good experience, unless staying in a room on the first floor. The higher the floor, the better the quality of the room. This hotel also offers free internet access which is great for the business traveler.”

• The lady at the front desk was 1 of the best I have ever met.
• Food rather expensive and in room movies.

“The lady at the front desk was the best I have ever done business with. She was so helpful in our check in and getting our boarding passes for us. The pool area was nice and enjoyable, after being in Orlando a week and finally got some sun. The room was comfortable as were the beds. Our last night in Orlando after 9 days of rain was really very nice.”

“I have stayed at this hotel a few times. It is nice and acceptable for a 3 star hotel. The higher the floor, the better the room seems to be. If you are on the first or second floor, the rooms tend to be lower quality. I stayed on the 6th floor this trip and it was nice.”

• The location to Orlando International was great.
• The bath tub plug did not work.

“Registration takes place in a spacious, attractive atrium style lobby, which also serves a space for the restaurant. The desk staff was efficient and helpful. The room was attractively decorated and the temperature was controlled thermostatically. The bed was comfortable. The parking area was not very convenient, but adequate.”

• Room was not updated, rather plain.

“Rooms was rather plain, but bed was comfy. You need to ask for nicer pillows. Wireless hook up for internet, but no direct access. Service at front desk was lacking. Conveniently located across the street from a Denny's and TGI Fridays.”

• Staff was not very helpful, efficient. Some could not speak English.

“The hotel was lovely. It has a beautiful entrance and many conveniences. Pool and hot tub setting were beautiful. Room was clean and spacious with a large counter and tub in the bathroom. Computer in lobby was perfect for printing our boarding passes!”

• Extremely close to airport and at least 6 restaurants.
• Faint smell of smoke in room.

• Not even close to 3 star hotels! Think Super 8 quality here.

“Location was great close to the airport. Free parking was nice. Lobby area was about the extent of the 3 star hotels. Room is no different than staying at a Super 8 except no free breakfast here. Very thin walls so was able to hear everything in the hallway & neighbors room all night long.”

• Nice pool, close to airport with free shuttle.
• Carpet in need of replacement. Left a game boy there and called before 2 PM- not there, obviously taken by staff.

“Close to the airport, nice pool, but when we left something behind and tried to talk to housekeeping staff, it had not been turned in. They called back after checking with the staff who cleaned the room (on the same day) before 2 PM and they did not find it. We flew home directly after and know it was left in that room. It left a sour taste at the end of our vacation; we had stayed 6 other nights at Holiday Inn.”

• Beautiful lobby interior- very inviting.
• Drains were clogged- key card kept deactivating- rooms were tiny-room smelled like vomit the whole weekend.

• Loved the pool, location and fast, wireless internet access.
• Would like Queen beds rather than double.

“This hotel was clean; the staff was very helpful and friendly. Super location, walking distance to several restaurants. Free airport shuttle. Beautiful pool with plenty of lounge chairs, tables and towels, also had a pool side phone where you could order food from the hotel restaurant and have it delivered to the pool. Desk and comfortable bed and chairs in the room, but would have preferred queen beds to the 2 doubles.”

• All public functions located in central atrium. Not spread over long distances.
• Too few check-in help in the evening. Had to wait too long to check in.

“In general, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Food was good although service was slow in later evening hours. Nice large rooms and comfortable beds. Limited TV service (basic cable). I would stay there again.”

• This was the best bed I slept in my whole vacation.
• The carpeting seemed wet to me like they just cleaned it.

• The coffee making machine was opposite my room, was a little noisy at times.

“Very good hotel, as well as being given an executive suite on the 7th floor which only your door key would allow the elevator to ascent to, I received each morning a breakfast bag, much appreciated.”

“Stayed one night prior to heading back home early the next morning. Initial appearance was fine. Staff upon check-in was polite. Room was disgusting. Bathtub and sink did not drain and backed up dirty water. I found toe nail clippings in the corner next to the bed on the floor. I am not sure if this room had truly been clean. We were grossed out! Made a complaint to front desk, but was only told they'd have some look into it. Thought about checking into another hotel, but we had an early departure so we decided to stay for the few evening hours.”

• The room was dirty in our opinion.

“I was surprised by the hotel itself. It was very nice. (Rated 3 stars). Room decor was updated, but it greatly needed some attention. Wallpaper was starting to peel off the wall. Curtains were starting to come off rods. Room had not been vacuumed in corner next to bed (toe nail clippings! Gross!) Bathroom just needed to be totally redone. The bathtub and sink barely drained, and backed up dirty water (gross!). I called maintenance, but never had any response. Needless to say, we took extremely fast showers, and kept shutting off the water during shampooing so the water wouldn't build up in the tub. Truly thought about changing hotels, but we had a 6:00 a.m. flight the next morning, so we decided to bear with it (as it was only for one night).”

• It was convenient to the airport for our early departure.
• The room was on the small side.

“This hotel was nice. It was more than I expected out of a Holiday Inn. Clean and well maintained throughout. The rooms looked newer and clean. We only slept here as it was the night before our early morning flight. We were up at 4 am and didn't use any facilities. The staff that I came in contact with were extremely friendly and helpful though.”

• Shuttle to airport very convenient for travelers.
• I had my wallet stolen right off the luggage cart.

“My wallet was stolen off the luggage cart while we were unloading bags into the room. The whole cart was gone and the hotel was very unhelpful in helping us. They said they would send security to investigate but they never did. Having just come from Disney (Saratoga Springs) I felt Disney would have been more responsive. I was very lucky to be able to board my plane since I did not have my driver's license. I understand that this is not considered a "good" area of Orlando, but one should not be encountering this type of problem in a hotel this upscale. Would never stay there again.”

• Nicely landscaped, pool, hot tub (didnt use either), clean.
• Room had 2 dbl beds, would prefer 2 queen beds.

“This hotel was better than I expected for a 3 star. The landscaping outside our window was very pretty. Pool and hot tub (with clean towels) there were available but we didnt get a chance to use them. Would stay there again.”

“I hate the outside appearance of this hotel. It looks cheap. But once you walk in the lobby its very nice. Front desk personal are not always attentive and informed. Our room this time was OK. Key did not work, someone had to come and open door. When the door to the room was opened junk was on the floor. It felt like someone did not clean very well.”

“Holiday Inn Select has a great location. Very close to Orlando airport. Spacious rooms-ours had a couch, desk and king bed. Bedding very comfortable-pillow top mattress, down bedding, high thread count sheets. Free airport shuttle; many restaurants within easy walking distance. Pool and hot tub were clean and area neat. Only one negative was that the air conditioner in our room was very loud.”

• Comfortable bed.
• Hair in tub, remote did not work, front desk did not answer the phone. Front desk did not give up parking permit.

“The outside of this hotel is dated. The lobby is very nice. Front desk personnel not informed or efficient with directions or hotel policies, not paying attention to detail, not friendly. Room was dirty. Spread, bathroom. Dining was a good experience and the food was good.”

• I liked the heated pool and that there are restaurants within walking distance.
• Only guest washer in hotel was out of order the entire week we were there.

“This is a good hotel for business travel, or if you want a quality hotel for site seeing in Orlando, while still remaining budget conscious. We never had to worry about our safety, amenities are nice, and staff are friendly.”

• The manager on duty was extremely helpful after I had issues on the first night of my stay.
• The original room I was in had four major issues: poor ac, exterior door that didn't want to close, and a broken shower handle and no closet.

The first night I was told there was nothing they could do and I had to suffer through a rough night. After the manager moved me, I was extremely pleased with the hotel. It has a great deal of amenities to offer both a family and a business traveler.”

“I made reservation for a party of 5 adults and one child for two rooms needing two beds in each room. The hotel gave me two rooms with one king bed in each room and refused to exchange them, neither would they give us a roll away, so one person slept in a chair!”

• The computer access was excellent. The pool area was very clean. The lounge area was good for our group (big screen TV), billiards, and popcorn.
• Our rooms were not clean, specifically; the toilet bowl had a grey ring of filth! Beds should be queen size, not double.
