“Charged $8/day for parking which they did not mention at check in. As to the rest, it was reasonably clean, no opening windows. Front desk staff was polite rather than accommodating. Seemed surprised that I was less than pleased with the parking fees and told me that it was plainly written on the hotel website. Didn't think actually telling me was necessary.”

- The room, food and staff were exceptional!
- I had to leave! Could have moved in.
“From the front desk staff, to the food and beverage servers, to the housekeeping person, everyone was extremely outgoing and capable. The food served in the lounge was exceptional. Great happy hour, too. Breakfast in the dining room was wonderful. I strongly recommend the signature French toast offering. As a frequent visitor to Orlando this will certainly be my new hotel.”

- I liked the whole experience - great atmosphere, great service!

“Very interesting and attractive decor. The room was just lovely, the mini fridge and microwave very useful. The one meal I ordered was just fine and they service timely. All in all, one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at close to an airport!”

- Recent renovations outstanding. Only stayed one night and wished could have stayed longer.
“Only stayed one night to catch an early morning flight. If you like contemporary, the architects nailed it with the renovations that were done 3 or 4 months prior. I have never stayed in a hotel with this look and feel. Great job, Marriott.”

- They were re-modeling so things were a mess! It was raining and there was no place to go or to sit other than the room.
“Since they were re-modeling they should have reduced the meals or given snacks or provided so sort of entertainment until the project was finished.”

- Room service was superb and the cheesecake was divine.
- It was in the process of renovations, so there wasn't much to do .
“The hotel was okay, staff excellent, room service superb. The restaurant was a conference room, not a pleasant atmosphere so I went for room service. Once the hotel is renovated I think it will be great. The pool area lacked maintenance the pool wasn't the cleanest and there weren't many chairs. Hot tub was too hot, almost boiling.”

“The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were at the hotel early July, 2007. They were in the process of renovating. Our room was clean but very old. This was probably a 4 star hotel 20 years ago and may be again once the renovation is complete.”

“Hotel was under-construction and was not aware of it. Rest were located in a small room due to them being closed. Only thing they had for breakfast was the buffet and could not order off the menu.”

- Location to the airport, and beeline made it an easy stay.

- Good beds, friendly staff, backup wakeup calls, airport location.
“Overall a good stay, I was only there for about 8 hours. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation, the reason for the poor marks on public spaces. I am not sure if all public services (food, bar, etc.) are even open. But this is really the only negative.”

- Nothing.
- Too much renovation going on to still be open.
“This hotel is doing some much needed renovations. However, because of the amount of work being done, they needed to just close the hotel until completion. You have to use the back entrance to the hotel, the lobby is closed and the front desk is now in a small meeting room. The restaurant is also closed but they have set up cheap tables and chairs in another small meeting room. In the hallway to the rooms, wall paper is pealing. The rooms might be the ugliest I've ever seen. Very old and out dated. This hotel might me nice once all of the work is completed, but people shouldn't stay here until they are finished. Too many great options in the area!”

- Our room was not ready when we arrived but they handled quickly.

- Location was excellent, great proximity to airport & car rental location.
- Smoking in corridors seeped under door into our room.
“Hotel lobby very luxurious, room was average, offered choice of king or 2 bed room, chose king but was told it was not available. Asked for non-smoking room, assumed this meant a non-smoking floor, apparently not, smoking in hallway seeped under our door until we placed a wet towel across gap. Shower drain totally plugged, stood in 12 inches of foul water while showering; maintenance was prompt and successful. Alarm clock-radio was left set at 5AM wake-up on high volume, confusing controls caused 2 early morning angry wake-ups. Maid service should turn alarms off in rooms as part of room clean-up routine.”

- The bedding was wonderful!
“Beginning with the front desk clerk who was helpful, efficient, and happy to be there, I felt at home. She called for the bellhop to park my car, retrieve my luggage, and bring it my room. I had all the amenities I needed in the room, and had room service the next morning for breakfast (on time!). When I checked out, the bellhop retrieved my car again and than cleared the windows for me. What a nice place to stay.”

“I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I did detect an odor of smoking in the room and noticed ash trays. The hotel said that it was a non-smoking room so I'm not sure if it's a don't ask don't tell type situation. Overall I was very pleased with my stay.”

“Old property with outdated furniture and a bad restaurant. The dishes we were offered were dirty twice and the last cup our coffee was served in was not rinsed out properly and was soapy. The rooms were clean but worn down. The hotel should have been rated a 2 star not a 3 star.”

- No security or questioning of persons entering after dark.
“Near the airport so access is a breeze. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Room service was prompt and the prices were very reasonable. Room was large and very clean. Only concern as a female traveler is that there was no real security at hotel entry or elevator banks after dark.”

“The hotel is beautiful and was all dec'd out for the holidays. The staff were helpful and friendly. The gym was decent and included a sauna. They are repainting the conference rooms and looks like they keep the hotel in good shape. We did not eat at the restaurant or bar. You can hear the jets overhead, but we wanted a hotel by the airport the night before our flight home.”
