• This was a very nice, quite new, but standard Marriott product. It was in a good location for access to the local airport.

• The handicap room I stayed in. Very Accessible.
• Wish they had more handicap parking.

“Overall the Hotel was very clean, spacious, with friendly people. Since I am handicapped, there were only a few parking spots, and they were all used, it was raining and I had to park far away from the entrance. I was traveling with my grandchildren, 11 and 13 so they could not park the car for me. Other than that, the stay was fine.”

“Staff was friendly. I got into the airport at 1am and had to call ahead to get directions. They talked me through the directions getting me to the hotel in no time. The room was spotless and very nicely appointed. An excellent hotel.”

• The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.
• I cannot think of anything that I did not like about this hotel.

“The hotel was 25 minutes from my ultimate destination, which I did not know when I booked it (my fault), never-the-less, I was happy to be there. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff helpful and friendly and the location relative to outside services, excellent. All hotels should be this well run; it deserves a 4 star rating.”

• Up lifting very friendly staff over all, would like to get this hotel again for my trips to lake mary.
• Can't find any.

• Great bed linens and clean.
• Elevator bell was to loud and could be heard in the room.

“The hotel lobby was decorated really nice, (artsy). The beds and linen were so comfortable and soft I did not want to get up. The elevator floor bell was loud and in the morning woke me up. Be careful not to get a room too close or it may disturb you. The maid was also loud, it was a Sunday morning and she was on her cell phone right outside our room and I could hear the whole conversation at 8 AM on a Sunday. I opened the door and asked her to have her conversation in a room and not in the hall in front of my room. She did go into another room but started vacuuming at 8 AM with the room door open.”

“We had a very nice stay. I especially appreciated the help we received one evening after my son knocked a soap dish off the counter and it shattered on the bathroom floor. I was impressed with several aspects. The first question from the staff on the phone when I reported the issue was of concern for the well-being of my son. The help to clean the broken item was quick, thorough and he was very courteous.”

• Large and attractive rooms.
• The girl at the front desk was rude. Told us we'd have a pull out couch and we didn't; short and snappy personality.

“The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. We had three older children with us and asked for a rollaway bed. The girl at the front desk, never making eye contact, told me that there would be a pull out couch in the room and we would not need a roll away bed. Once in the room no couch. When I phoned the desk the woman acted so rudely and explained that it would be a fire hazard to put a rollaway in the room; but there's no couch. She hung up and brought a rollaway to the room. She huffed and puffed and continued to tell us this is against code as she rammed the bed against the wall with a bang. She left the room in a huff and stormed away. Yikes. Hope her day is going better! The fellow that drove the van was wonderful! A pleasant surprise compared to the front desk staff! I'd never go there with more than four people again, they don't seem to want you money!”

• I asked for a king bed and was told I would be called when one came open the next day someone check in and got a king bed I wasn't happy.

“Close to I-4 but no traffic noise, stayed Friday and Saturday and it was very quiet, pleasant, and clean. Bar in lobby was pleasant and quiet. Didn't have time to explore the other hotel facilities.”

Midway between Daytona and Orlando, it provides easy access to Orlando attraction, the Daytona area and Stetson University in Deland.”

• The lobby and bar area are very nicely appointed.
• Expect to walk a bit from the parking lot to the lobby.

“This is a newer Marriott hotel geared for conferences and business travelers or just upscale lodging. The lobby has large cone shaped wood columns that are modern works for art. The staff is very professional and service oriented. The room I had was tastefully appointed and the wireless internet was a snap to use. They have business center room in the lobby setup for easy printing or boarding passes and maps. This location is typical of a large Marriott hotel in that you feel well taken care of.”

• It was convenient to everything.
• It was very noisy.

“The hotel is very nice and comfortable. But it's extremely noisy. Both times I've been there; there was a lot of commotion in the halls from high school age sports teams staying in the hotel. There is also a bar behind the hotel that plays their music way too loud. Also the restaurant is very expensive. The rest of the hotel is very nice.”
