• Location around hotel was safe and lots of stores.

• The room was not clean or comfortable.

“I would not recommend this hotel. The floor in the main area and the bathroom was not clean when we arrived. The staff did not refresh the rooms unless you stayed for 7 days, since we were there for 5, we had the same towels, and had to get rid of our own trash, we had no way to clean the floors etc. The bed was horrible, very hard, and there was no mattress cover so the sheets were always sliding off leaving you on a bare mattress which seemed unsanitary. The blankets were low quality, and itchy. One of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I own and operate a bed and breakfast and cannot imagine not offering to refresh rooms for my guests. I don't care how low the economy is, people need to at least have a basic level of customer service provided!”

• Size of rooms.
• We were on second floor. Not always good for seniors.

“Overall this hotel is very nice. Friendly staff and clean. Our only issue was the second floor but they did have elevators so really not a big enough issue to ask for different rooms.”

• Refrigerator in room was spotless.
• No cream for coffee in morning, no shampoo/conditioner in room.

“The front desk was not very efficient. The first room they tried to give us had someone in it already or it was never made up. The second room they tried to give us smelled like rotten fish/bait. The third room was nice, but, it was an upgrade. The first morning we were there they had no cream for coffee. Staff said someone had taken the bowl they put cream in so they couldn't put more cream out. Would not stay here again.”

• The breakfast buffet ended too early.

“Perfect for our needs. A one night stay that was comfortable and efficient. Very clean and accommodating. I enjoyed it. Wish we were staying longer. I will go there again.”

• Spacious rooms, reasonably clean.
• Charged additional $20 for 2 beds. Pool was cold.

“Overall, not a bad hotel but they will charge extra fee for two beds. Pool is apparently not heated. Morning breakfast is okay but a little sparse.”

• Rooms had a kitchen and sitting area.
• Floor was not vacuumed, and only clean rooms if you stay a week.

“For the price you can't beat it ($41)you better wake up early to get fruit for breakfast because the weekly people bring a bag and take all the fruit. But I can say the hotel next door has some good waffles( you make them yourself).”

• They moved me to 3 rooms until it was clean and didn't smell like smoke.
• First room had burnt counter tops in kitchen second room was reeking with smoke.

“This hotel was well not up to par, the first room they gave me had burnt counters and the couches were very hard, the second room they moved me to reeked with cigarette smoke. The 3rd room they moved me to was ok. No towels given the second day. I own Lake Mary florist, a business in the Lake Mary City and I was there over valentines long night of work so not to drive home late at night. Hopefully next holiday I will be given an upgraded hotel.”

• Close to rt. #4 and lots of restaurants.
• Maid left ac on freezing on a cold day. Took hr. Wrapped in blanket to warm up.

“Desk clerk friendly and helpful. Needs guidance for housekeeping on heat and ac service and when guests are expected leave a few ice cubes? Desk could have hand out to local area directions and restaurants.”

• Available parking.
• The remote did not work/ same motel 1 year ago same problem remote did not work. Had to manually change channels.

“Convent location. Felt safe. People friendly not over all feeling of unclean. No extra convinces. It concerns me that I have stayed at the same motel twice in 1 year, each time the remote did not work. Replaced batteries still did not work. The batteries were corroded. Do any remotes ever work? Do they ever fix them?”

• Located in an upscale neighborhood, Seminole County.
• Fan in Room 237, always "ON" all night long, not to sound weird, but it sounded like a Satanic whisper, all night long, no way to turn it "OFF" Dude!

“Lovely place to rest, nice and quiet, sweet dreams, with ear plugs on, of course, will definitely return, but not to Room 237 'OK?”

• Restaurants and shopping areas are close and all necessary amenities are available great for long term stay an even short term.
• Garbage and towel service not avail daily; one staff member was rude; breakfast avail on weekday only; breakfast cleared while we were in line.

“Location was good; room was nice almost like a one room apartment great for extended stay. Had full kitchen and cooking and eating supplies. Pool was great. Dislikes: Had problems with keys expiring every night instead of at checkout which made it difficult to enter facility after hours. Towel exchange and garbage disposal was self-serve no maid service avail daily without extra charge. One staff member was rude almost ran us over in the elevator and didn't bother say "excuse me" or "good morning"; to later run into her at the breakfast line as she snatched up the Bagels before we got to them without the courtesy to question if we would like any before they were put away. Breakfast was a disappointment no juice or water was available for the children only coffee and bagels.”

• Was in an excellent central location, being with grandkids and needing pool things and food. nice to have a kitchen and separate bedroom. 2 TV's
• A little on the small size in scale but comfy.

“Very nice rooms, separate bedroom, pull out sofa, kitchen, lots of counter space great for any traveler, with or with out kids. Rooms were very clean. Nice helpful staff.”

• It is located right off the highway.
• I checked in late, and had to call someone to check me in.

“This hotel is good for a short business trip. Basic amenities are included. Local shopping and restaurants are nearby.”

• The cost was very cheap compared to rates that I received for other hotels.
• I did not realize until it was too late that there would only be one bed in the room.

“Everything was very clean and well kept. As stated above the only surprise was that the room only had one bed. This issue could have been my fault when I signed up, but still disappointing.”

• price was right
• house keeping is lax and TV is sub par

“This hotel is OK for the price. House keeping is a little lax, TV channels are sub par. Has a nice pool area, BBQ grill is new but runs out of propane about every 2 weeks and staff only has one bottle, so sometimes it may be 2-3 days before gas gets refilled”

• Excellent value, large suite type room, convenient location.
• Lean staff, no full service housekeeping, however not an issue for the overall value.

“Nice, clean, well kept accommodations. Excellent value. Pool, laundry, fitness center all very nice. Large suite rooms with full kitchen, separate living room and bedroom accommodations. Limited housekeeping services, however will provide clean linen, towels and quick clean-ups upon demand. Designed for the long term stay, however very comfortable even for short term.”

• The price was great, the staff were awesome.
• The lobby and hallways were hot. My room had hair on the floor and in the drawers and dirt in the recliner.

“For the money, you won't beat this place. The Homestead was actually full, but they placed me next door at the Extended Stay which is owned by the same corporation. The staff are friendly and professional and you really get everything that you need for an amazing price. Lake Mary is a great place to stay for the location next to 417, and the area around the hotel is clean and attractive.”

• Great price, great location in a safe area.
• very slow wireless internet. uncomfortable bed.

“For the price I paid, I really have no major complaints. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the wireless was not as fast as I would have liked, but the location was terrific. The hotel is in an upper-end commercial office district that was very clean and safe. It was also very convenient to major roads which allowed me to get everywhere I needed quickly.”

• Wireless internet did not work good, Only has about 20 TV channels and some of those don't work.
