• Loved the artwork!
• Overall, not enough "natural" light - most colors are dark ...elegant in evening/night, however, quite depressing during the day!

“The attention to detail and cleanliness was found everywhere ...except unfortunately, the room lacked a clean desk top (fingerprints etc - very obvious), a vacuumed rug, and a "mold-free" shower wall near grab bar!”

• Staff very unprofessional and give the notion that it was our pleasure to stay with them. Overpriced and terrible location.

“Don't know why I stayed at this hotel, one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. We had a complaint about our room not having hot water and a question about a couple of other things and the staff was not very helpful and had an attitude with us instead of helping to solve the problem. Worst customer service out of any hotel I have ever been too.”

• Spacious rooms.
• Gave us a room designed for handicap patrons.

“Upon entering the room, I noticed a few problems immediately. Both phones were damaged and the bathroom was for disabled patrons. When trying to take a shower, no water came out. Called front desk and they sent maintenance men. They were confused as I was as to why I received a room designed for the disabled. They quickly gave me a new room after my discontent.”

• This is my 3rd year staying at this property; customer care was the best this year.
• I did not think that local calls should be $1.15/each in 2007.

“The art is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, nice, and roomy. Most staff members are quite friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.”

• It was a beautiful unique hotel. It reminded me of a boutique hotel in west Hollywood.
• Internet was expensive. TV did not work and internet gave me technical issues. Staff did fix the problem semi quickly.

“The grand bohemian is a gem in downtown Orlando. It is has a jazz lounge and swanky dining area. The halls are decorated with modern art and sculptures. Beautiful decor. Comfortable and clean rooms. Very friendly and courteous customer service reps. Parking is cheaper on south street (1/2 block walk). Just 6 dollars per night compared to 20 per night to park at hotel. Orange street has bars, clubs, and cafes within walking distance.”

• Very classy, nice art work, definitely a stand out from the usual chains.
• For some reason they thought I was handicapped and gave me a handicapped bathroom.

“Wonderful classy hotel in Orlando. Great for people not looking for the usual chain motel/hotel with the complaining kids with fat parents. Exceptionally good service, I would recommend the bar. Lots of detail in the room and the hotel. I would recommend staying here. A bit further away from the theme parks, Disney but I hate Disney.”

• Non smoking rooms, must valet park for a fee also.

“This hotel is classy, and has gorgeous rooms. I think that for the quality of hotel, some things like coffee in your room should be complimentary, as should parking. Wireless internet should not be extra though also.”

• Wait staff very friendly and accommodating; spacious rooms.
• Housekeeping was a bit sketchy for a 4-star; room service meals were not consistently well prepared and were overpriced for the quality of the food.

“We booked this room for an anticipated 5 night stay; a family death and hospitalization of my mother, with whom I was traveling, resulted in our extending our stay for nearly 2 weeks. The hotel was very gracious in accommodating us. The valet, bell and wait staff were all very personable and helpful, and with the exception of one or two people, the front desk people were helpful and caring. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Our room wasn't ready when we arrived.

“Our king bed room was not available when we checked in. We were told we would have to wait until a room was cleaned. We had a tight schedule and an event we needed to get dressed for, so we had to settle for a 2 queen bed room. Also, the noise level at night was really high. Bass from some undeterminable source was blaring when we tried to fall asleep. In spite of this, the hotel was clean and nice. However, I would think twice about saying here again.”

• The parking had to be valet. ($19.99/ night).

“For as much as you spend on the room. Room service should not have an additional fee and valet parking was a little steep in my mind.”

• Boutique luxurious without feeling stuffy. Love the art motif!

“Rooms are great - most comfy beds! Would love to see better lighting in the rooms. Used concierge twice - once for a late breakfast and was sent to the "breakfast club", which was worse than a Denny's or ihop, and another time we asked for an upscale, lounge-like bar and were sent to the "pulse", which could not have been trashier! The concierge service was a huge disappointment and very shocking - I would have expected much more because the hotel itself is absolutely fabulous! But, regardless of the concierge, I will definitely be back!”

“Decor was not my style; however, accommodations were wonderful. Art collection was very nice. Location was great and easy to get to, despite construction in downtown area. Breakfast meal was delicious and had a nice presentation. Overall, the staff had great service. I would love to return when I'm in the Orlando area.”

• The rooms were outstanding. I also liked how they had to use your key to use elevator. Lobby and restaurant were great.
• Valet area was a little small.

• Top of the line finishes throughout, excellent interior design, great restaurant. Starbucks attached to the hotel lobby!
• Valet parking only at $20 per night.

“Everything was great until the morning. We were looking forward to breakfast in bed, put the order in at 10pm the night before and it did not come. We called down and asked what happened and were told they did not get an order. Obviously they had because the order sheet was no longer on the door. I voiced my displeasure and was told the manager was "unavailable." it was a good stay but an unpleasant ending.”

• I loved everything about it including the music on in the room as you walk in.
• No poolside bar.

“As soon as you drive up, you already feel the luxury of this hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The decor is beautiful. The rooms are very clean. The beds and pillows very comfortable. The pool area is gorgeous and refreshing. I will be back, most definitely.”

“This hotel is very beautiful and spacious. The well appointed lobbies and guests spaces exceeded my expectations. The pool area was also phenomenal housing a large tent and chandeliers to light the night sky over downtown Orlando. Everything was exceptional. We will stay again!”

• The hotel is positioned ideally for access by foot to charming local restaurants, wine bars and lakes. The Sunday morning Jazz brunch was exceptional.
• The service that I got when trying to confirm brunch reservations for the next day was unhelpful.

“The Westin Grand Bohemian is an exceptionally charming hotel, positioned to provide easy access on foot to the entire downtown area. The service, cleanliness and ambiance were great. The Sunday morning Jazz brunch was a true gem. A few complaints: the hotel has awfully dim lighting and the public areas seem rather cramped and small. All in all, a top-notch hotel in a growing city.”

• Liked the bed; liked the comfortable lounge chair; liked the Starbucks coffee - would have liked 2 pots.
• Bathroom outlets didn't work; small tub; coffee creamer rancid; rather dark.

“Comfortable, but not very romantic. Would have preferred a soaking tub rather than 2 shower heads - one is enough; two don't make a difference. The bed is outstanding; the linens that is; they are clean, and comfortable. The carpet and drapes are very dark.”

• The atmosphere at the Grand Bohemian is exceptional. The decor is beautiful, rooms are very relaxing.
• I disliked that there are very few or no other places to eat in walking distance after 5:00 P.M. Minibar is overpriced.

“Staying at the Grand Bohemian in Orlando is more than just a hotel stay -- it is a wonderful experience. There is beautiful artwork all around and the rooms are decorated in such a way that you feel very pampered and relaxed. I was traveling on business but left after two days feeling totally refreshed. It is more expensive than the average hotel but worth the price.”

• The room was clean and comfortable.
• Miscommunication on rooms and times of activities.

“The Westin is a great hotel and in a very localized location to Downtown Orlando. Most of the staff seemed eager to assist with any request. However, upon check in there was a miscommunication with rooms and we were not able to enjoy the facilities at the pool as it was closed for a private function. We were told the facilities would open at one time and planned our stay accordingly, but once there to use the facilities, a sign was posted with a totally different time to open the facilities to the public. In addition, the price of the hotel should have included parking, if not it should have been a small fee, not the one that was charged per day. I would be hesitant to book at the Westin again in the future.”
