“My boyfriend, daughter and I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Thanks for making our mini vacation to see my boyfriend, while working in Jacksonville, less stressful and easy on the pocket book.” Jul 24, 2008 by
Richard from Chattanooga, TN
“The hotel was a little pricey for me and my wife. The Hotel was not as close to the beach as we were lead to believe by the internet. It was a nice stay overall. The hotel employees were very nice and the breakfast was very good every day we stayed there.” Jul 20, 2008 by
Brian from Hamilton, OH
“Highly recommendable. A very good experience. Made to feel valued. Would do it again.” Jul 10, 2008 by
Orin from Tallahassee, FL
“When we turned on the TV it did not work. We called back down to the desk and they sent someone up. When they could not get it to work they said they would let us switch rooms, then they moved us right across the hall to a room with double beds! We had been lied to by the staff! We still had to put up with a smoking room. The breakfast was good each morning and the rooms were clean but could have used some more work. Also, the pool was not very clean.” Jun 29, 2008 by
Susan from Sarasota, FL
“I called them 4 times for directions and was given faulty directions twice. When I got there and they sent me to another hotel (Wingate, actually better hotel), gave me the wrong directions to it! The next day, during my business meeting. I was informed I would need to leave Wingate and return to Hampton Inn, had to leave early. Just all of it very inconvenient and frustrating!” May 20, 2008 by
Debbie from Seminole, FL
“Great room, great service, great area. Need to plan ahead for dining options, even the vending is very limited, no mini-bar. Close to shopping and beaches.” May 2, 2008 by
Jean from Marysville, OH
“This hotel was a nice oasis away from home. It was very comfortable, easy to locate, and at a great location for travelers. Thank You.” Mar 1, 2008 by
Sara from Enfield, NH
“I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Everyone was very accommodating.” Sep 6, 2007 by

“Hampton Inn's provide a consistently above average quality stay and overall this one met expectations. However, when we checked in we were given a non-smoking room that we later found out had also been initially given to another family who complained about the bad smoke odor. Why they turned around almost immediately and gave us the same room I don't understand. The breakfast entree was stone cold and selection overall not very desirable. The access on/off the major road was very limited. It had to practically travel a mile through a large shopping complex to get to another road to access the main road that runs in front of the hotel. Even with these negatives, the room we finally got was very nicely furnished, clean and comfortable.” Sep 4, 2007 by
Leslie from Dallas, GA
“Our drive to Jacksonville took 3 hours longer than expected--we didn't arrive until 2:00 a.m. The staff had no problem holding our room. I thought I had reserved the room for 2 nights and realized when we arrived that it was only for that one night. We were very disappointed--we won a great rate, less than half the regular price and had to move to a different hotel. Also, we had a smoking room, but the staff moved us to a non-smoking. I have had 2 bad experiences with Hampton Inns in the past and was a little leery of staying in it again, but this has turned my thoughts around. Great room, great rate.” Apr 8, 2007 by
Kim from Cumming, GA
“The hotel was great other than the fact that the pool us unusable. It is underneath several huge beautiful oak trees and the pool was constantly full of leaves and oak bloom's. Roy the maintenance guy was killing himself trying to clean it but to no avail. The beach is a short drive away though, which was a nice alternative.” Apr 5, 2007 by
Rhonda from Gray, GA
“Pretty ok.” Feb 23, 2007 by
Baj from Glenview, IL
“The hotel is a nice cozy place that is close to the beach and about half an hour drive from the city. It is a great location and is a must to have a car also. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast buffet is something that shouldn't be missed!” Hotel Representatives:
