• Close to relatives homes.
• No bar or restaurant.

“Nice hotel, one block from beach. Very quiet hotel during holidays, as not many people staying there. Only negative aspect was housekeeping staff, cut back on hours due to holidays.”

• It was quiet and great location for our needs.

“We were visiting family for Christmas and wanted a clean quiet motel for a good night's sleep. It was all of that and more. Loved the hot chocolate and candy cane to put in it.”

• The bed had great pillows and a good, free breakfast.
• Really small pool.

“The hotel was situated across the street from the beach but you're allowed to use the amenities at the beachfront hotel. For the price, this hotel met or exceeded my expectations and I'd definitely stay there again if I went to Jacksonville. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

• I felt that I was truly on vacation and pampered.
• Nothing. It was wonderful.

“Friendly and helpful and a beautiful place to stay. When I am in Jacksonville again I will not hesitate to stay here. Thank you it was a wonderful vacation. The first one I have ever taken and it will be a wonderful memory.”

• It was close to the beach and clean.
• They were not accommodating to any changes.

“The hotel was clean and the grounds were nice. It's across the street from the beach. The breakfast included is nice, although not many choices. But when we checked in, we had been give 2 double beds and my fiance is 6'5". I asked for a king room and offered to pay extra. They were not rude and I am sure it is not hotel policy, but it was frustrating.”

• New building, spacious clean very attractive room. Large beautiful free breakfast area.
• All was OK.

“This hotel is very attractive, clean and spacious in it's rooms and breakfast area. The building is only 3 years old and across the street from the beach. The staff was very friendly and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. I certainly would stay there again.”

• Location, cleanliness and hospitality by staff.
• Needed microwaves inside bedrooms for customer convenience.

“My experience with Fairfield Inn & Suites of Marriot in Jacksonville, Florida was a very nice one. The hospitality of the staff was pleasant, the cleanliness of the entire hotel was emasculate. The only short-coming in the entire visit for myself was the hotel didn't provide microwaves in the rooms for the customers' convenience.”

• Dr. Pepper only available from machine on second floor.

• This hotel was an amazing value-such a nice place for so little money.
• The hotel was perfect-nothing I did not like.

“The staff took a lot of time getting to know us and making suggestions to ensure we had a nice stay. It is a non smoking hotel, which was perfect for us, but I heard another guest complain because he did not know that. I loved everything about this hotel and cannot wait to visit again!”

• The continental breakfast variety. The hot tub.
• The smell in the hall and lobby. I believe it is just the smell of Florida water though, so I don't blame the hotel.

• Pool was well heated and good breakfast.
• Far from Jacksonville.

“A superior 2 star with high quality facilities and classy attitude. The front desk was surprisingly unhelpful for a Marriott but the other aspects were good. Very nice lounge for a 2 star.”

• Very clean, great location, friendly staff, quiet, comfortable outstanding hotel.
• Breakfast hours could have been a tad bit later.

“This was one of the cleanest, nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. It is centrally located, quiet, close to the beach, but not too close. The staff was awesome. Staff was very helpful and everyone else was caring and helpful. I will recommend this hotel over and over again.”

• The staff was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful.

“Excellent hotel - Wonderful Staff - close to the ocean, shopping, restaurants - it has it all. Clean rooms, quiet location, central to about anything and everything. I had a wonderful stay here. The front desk was amazing, but all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Made me feel safe, comfortable and welcome.”

• very clean, complimentary highspeed access, beach across the street, knowledgeable staff
• no shuttle to airport

“Great property. Not even a year old, clean well kept guestrooms, very nice breakfast with lots of variety. We enjoyed the beach immensly. The staff at the front desk answered any and all questions we had for them quickly and accurately. They know their hotel, the area, and nearby attractions. We had a wonderful stay and plan to come back next year. The late night security and fenced in parking lot were also a plus. I haven't slept this well away from home in a very long time! Thank You!!!”

• great staff, clean hotel, great breakfast, across from the beach, walking to restaurants, knowledgeable staff, very friendly, lobby is beautiful with 2 sided fireplace, highspeed internet and free unlimited local calls!
• Nothing! We had a great time here! We were travelling for business but, i felt like i was on vacation!!!!

“We had a great time at this facility! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, the beach is across the street, there are amazing restaurants within walking distance. It's close to the nightlife but, far enough away that I didn't have to listen to it all night! Nice workout facility as well. Our room was very clean too. The Front Desk staff was telling me that this hotel is part of a conversion for the brand or something. We were in a suite and it had a separate living room area and set-in track lighting abouve the bed. This hotel is fantastic. I got my work done in my room shot it over to my company's main hub and then I hit the beach! (and happy hour!!!)”
