• Hot tub water temperature was scalding, very disappointing.

“This was our fourth time staying at this hotel and it was not the best experience out of the four. Every other time we asked for a king room and got one. Also, we were looking forward to unwinding in the hot tub by the hotel pool, but the water was scalding a temperature that would cause first-degree burns. But it's still a very well-maintained hotel and the rooms are clean and pleasant.”

“Breakfast was overpriced. Excellent rooms, great staff, good location, and wonderful pool. Guest room was clean, bed was comfortable, water was hot, parking was convenient, and check-in was quick. Had a problem with AC, moved me in a flash. Good experience.”

• This hotel looks like new - the staff was very helpful and gave us coupons to the roadhouse which was great!
• The hot tub didn't seem to be functioning at 100%.

“A great location on the east side of Cleveland, close to i-90 and easy to find. Hotel was clean, efficient, nice pool, and great staff. I would stay there again or recommend it to others.”

• It was located very near the highway, but not directly off so it wasnt loud or dirty but easy to find.
• It was further from the downtown area than I wouldve liked but it wasnt too bad.

“The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and gave us printed out directions to the downtown area- very helpful. Housekeeping didn't wake us in the hours of the morning to check if we were already gone. That is very annoying. The rooms were clean and they had a new flat panel TV in the room we stayed in. Conveniently located close to the highway but not directly off so it wasn't too loud or dirty, but easy to find. I would stay there again.”

• We loved the pool area. It was very clean and well kept up. Very relaxing!
• There was no wireless internet connection.

“It looked new. Everything was very clean. The bed was so comfortable. The arrangement of the room was spacious and relaxing. The pool area was clean. The courtyard was very pleasant to look at. The staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.”

• No mirror in guest room, only in bathroom.

• Complimentary cookies and coffee goes above other hotels' amenities.
• Breakfast area needs a little renovation.

“This hotel couldn't have been more accessible. My room was very comfortable. I slept like a baby. I was given a late check-out in order to make my attendance at a funeral less stressful. The staff was helpful with directions to food and the events I needed to attend. I would certainly stay here again!”

• Everything was clean and fresh and the bed was so comfortable.
• Would just like a complimentary continental breakfast.

“We cannot say enough about how well were treated by the staff at this hotel. When we arrived the front dust staff remembered our name from our previous visits. Dean was her first name and she was so pleasant. Along with that she upgraded our room to one with a king size bed and a Jacuzzi. What more could we want. What a wonderful welcome. This could only have happened at a place where the manager must treat the guests the same way! Carrie who our daughter has worked with in making reservations at this hotel for her upcoming wedding is doing a marvelous job with this Marriott courtyard, her employees and the guests. What a great job all of them are doing and we hope they are recognized for their efforts. Kudos to the Willoughby courtyard!”

• A little far from where my business was located.

“The staff is above and beyond in terms if friendliness. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel is quiet and small, which is great for business travelers. The rooms are modern and the bathroom is decent size. The pool is too small to be useful (for laps, etc.) The hotel is a bit far from downtown and most business areas. Overall a very good hotel for the money.”

• We liked everything about the Marriott Courtyard BUT would have liked to go on an internet access usually available near the front desk

“Easy access to & from the interstate. Staff friendly & helpful. Room was quiet, spacious, clean, with very comfortable beds. Enjoyed an evening coffee. Would definitely recommend the Marriott to friends & family. Also hoping that we will have the privilege to stay at the Marriott Courtyard.”

• Everything was excellent, and no help was needed to enjoy your stay there.
• There was nothing for me personally to dislike about the hotel or my stay.

“Everything was great. The rooms were very clean. There was extra clean linen in the drawer. The balcony private. My room had a sofa bed included. The pool area was nice and clean as was the exercise room. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in every way.”

“The hotel is just off I-90 with several moderate and inexpensive restaurants within walking distance. The public rooms and pool area were well maintained, and the room was immaculate with comfortable beds and a lovely balcony. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.”

“This is a nice hotel, and we have stayed here before. The original room given to us had an awfully strong paint smell. After we complained to the front desk, they put us in a room that still had some paint smell, but not as strong as the first.”

• I liked the convenient location to my business meeting.
• No free breakfast; I chose to eat a banana I brought with me. $9 plus tip is too expensive for me.

“I like Marriott Courtyards, but they need to compete with other chains by providing a small breakfast. For the rate (I didn't pay that), breakfast should be included. Also, the bed linens (especially the sheets) were old and I didn't feel comfortable sleeping on them. ”
