• The staff was extremely nice.
• The rooms were seemed slightly run down.

“The hotel was clean with excellent staff, however, it appeared to be slightly run down. For example, there were scuff marks on the walls, a small spot of mold on the shower curtain, and the bathtub water handle was loose (but in working order). The first room we were given had a toilet that didn't flush and a strange odor (that the staff attributed to carpet cleaner from when the toilet flooded). However, after speaking to the staff we were relocated to another room, so we were satisfied.”

• room size was great and bed comfortable
• Been nice if the room would have had a refrigerator

“Good location to local shopping and places to eat.Liked it that on direct route to college I attend.Close to church I attend whne in Cleveland.Easy access to 271.Price was reasonalbe for quality.”

• This is hotel was so dirty I had to sweep the rooms floor myself.

“We were given a room that had not been cleaned. The floor had big chunks of dirt and debris on the floor. The only offer we had at first was to vacuum the carpet ourselves. We tried but 2 vacuums were broken. Later in the evening they had received 2 cancellations and we were offered a much better room that was clean.”

• Fire alarm on for a long time, condition was dilapidated.

“This hotel is getting old and in need of serious maintenance and repair. The waffles that they pride themselves were of the frozen kind. Breakfast was really not impressive at all. Also, second night of the stay the hotel did not clean the room...it was some kind of mistake or oversight. Counter help was reading a book and didn't greet us as we passed by.”

• The location was close to our destination.
• The room was not clean. We found dirty laundry and a used condom from previous occupants. Very disappointing.

“The front desk staff was helpful. But the hotel needs to keep an eye on its cleaning service people.”

• it was less than 1 mile from our destination!
• the clerk on midnight shift - made me sign a pet agreement at 2:45 AM - hotel accepted pets, but an agreement needed signed in the middle of the night

“it was perfect for our purpose- in town overnignt to attend calling hours and a funeral the next day. met our needs”

“The Baymont Inn - Mayfield Heights was a nicely located hotel in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland. There was a major snow storm the night we stayed there and the parking lot was well-plowed in the morning and the staff was very accommodating for us. I would stay here again in the blink of an eye.”

“I had a real problem during my stay at the Baymont Inn in Mayfield Heights, OH. The first night, as I lay propped up in bed watching TV, I noticed a bug on the pillowcase. Then another. Still another. Before I realized it, the pillow, the linens, the end table and the entire wall behind me was covered with these bugs. The room was infested with them! This was around midnight. I called the desk, and the woman graciously offered to move me to another room. I quickly accepted, and had no problem in the new room, which was on another floor. I can't describe to you how sickening these bugs made me feel. I had just eaten a snack, and nearly threw up when the infestation hit.”
