“The Baymont Inn is a typical 2 star hotel--comfortable rooms, but limited common areas. It is tucked away, behind a gas station, and unless you know where it is, it's hard to find. The staff was very helpful and the free breakfast, wireless internet, and paper were nice. I have stayed here twice and would stay again. The particular room we were in the second stay had damp carpet around the air conditioner, and I believe there was something growing in the carpet, as it triggered my son's allergies.” Aug 17, 2005 by
Richard from Bowie, MD
“Excellent hotel in its price range. The staff is courteous and helpful and the location allows you to access most of your needs without leaving its general vicinity. While the carpet and furnishing do seem to be a bit old, high speed internet and a daily newspaper along with a continental breakfast is something that you almost never see at this price. I would certainly stay there again.” Aug 17, 2005 by
Dave from West Chester, OH

“As with all hotels, I don't like using bedspreads and blankets that others have used. I did like the long sheets on the bed so I could fold them over the blankets.” Aug 8, 2005 by
Brian from Marietta, OH

“hotel employee handled food with her bare hands and then pushed trash down in trash can, leading me to wonder whether she washed her hands prior to handling other food. Lobby area was not clean, staff seemed unprofessional.” Jul 20, 2005 by
Anita from Columbus, OH
“The elevator seems older then the hotel but the room was clean.” Jul 19, 2005 by

“Nice hotel for the inexpensive price I paid. Hotel was clean, but had a very strong cleaner smell everywhere you walked. Continental breakfast left much to be desired, coffee was good, but OJ was overly strong. ” Jul 6, 2005 by
Namjae from Auburn, AL
“Breakfast was so good.” Jul 5, 2005 by

“I was a little worried that this hotel would be too far off of I-90 to be worth the detour, but I was very pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to find. The hotel's accesibility via I-271 made for a pleasant, traffic-free detour off I-90 and barely took us off course. The hotel is also right across the street from a very impressive outdoor mall---convenient if you forgot something for your trip! The staff of the hotel was incredibly friendly as well. Overall, an excellent choice for an overnight stay.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 5, 2005 by

“The front desk staff was exceptional in making me comfortable in my room. I was traveling with my 2 teenage sons, and was given a room with a king bed. She offered a roll away, blankets, and whatever I needed so that we would be comfortable. It was after 9pm and she was the only one on duty, but went beyond what she needed to.” Jun 29, 2005 by
Lawrence from Girard, PA
“Overall and OK place to stay. Location good. Friendly staff and nice free breakfast” Jun 29, 2005 by
Peter from Florence, KY
“The hotel shows signs of aging in woodwork and finishes. The small fridge, in our room, was frosted solid and the cabinet it was in was broken at the bottom. Maid service did not always replace items like washcloths, coffee packets. We had to call the front desk several times. On the plus side, the free continental breakfast was very good and the service very good. The location was excellent being right off the interstate and close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms, and hotel in general, was very quiet and restful. Overall, for the rate we got from Baymont location is a very good deal.” Jun 28, 2005 by
Joe from Tonawanda, NY
“Easy to find with a great free breakfast and fast wireless internet. Located near many local eateries and just off RT 271. Friendly staff and ample free parking make for a nice, inexpensive basic stay in the Cleveland area.” Jun 23, 2005 by

“In need of refurbishment to stay at this star level. minutes to anyplace in eastern half of cleveland during nonrush hour traffic. safe neigborhood. good food within 10-15 minute drive.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 21, 2005 by

“The hotel was clean with excellent staff, however, it appeared to be slightly run down. For example, there were scuff marks on the walls, a small spot of mold on the shower curtain, and the bathtub water handle was loose (but in working order). The first room we were given had a toilet that didn't flush and a strange odor (that the staff attributed to carpet cleaner from when the toilet flooded). However, after speaking to the staff we were relocated to another room, so we were satisfied.” Jun 18, 2005 by
John from Pegram, TN
“Great value for a great price. hotel was clean, staff was nice.” Jun 8, 2005 by

“We were given a room that had not been cleaned. The floor had big chunks of dirt and debris on the floor. The only offer we had at first was to vacuum the carpet ourselves. We tried but 2 vacuums were broken. Later in the evening they had received 2 cancellations and we were offered a much better room that was clean.” Apr 24, 2005 by

“Good enough.” Feb 18, 2005 by
Cass from Federal Way, WA
“This hotel is getting old and in need of serious maintenance and repair. The waffles that they pride themselves were of the frozen kind. Breakfast was really not impressive at all. Also, second night of the stay the hotel did not clean the room...it was some kind of mistake or oversight. Counter help was reading a book and didn't greet us as we passed by.” Feb 14, 2005 by
Steve from Ellington, NY
“The front desk staff was helpful. But the hotel needs to keep an eye on its cleaning service people.” Feb 7, 2005 by
Marybeth from East Liverpool, OH
“it was perfect for our purpose- in town overnignt to attend calling hours and a funeral the next day. met our needs” Dec 26, 2004 by
Alice M. from Bloomfield “The Baymont Inn - Mayfield Heights was a nicely located hotel in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland. There was a major snow storm the night we stayed there and the parking lot was well-plowed in the morning and the staff was very accommodating for us. I would stay here again in the blink of an eye.” Dec 6, 2004 by
James N. from Dublin “Room was not clean and toilet kept plugging up. Should have been offered another room.” Sep 16, 2004 by
“I had a real problem during my stay at the Baymont Inn in Mayfield Heights, OH. The first night, as I lay propped up in bed watching TV, I noticed a bug on the pillowcase. Then another. Still another. Before I realized it, the pillow, the linens, the end table and the entire wall behind me was covered with these bugs. The room was infested with them! This was around midnight. I called the desk, and the woman graciously offered to move me to another room. I quickly accepted, and had no problem in the new room, which was on another floor. I can't describe to you how sickening these bugs made me feel. I had just eaten a snack, and nearly threw up when the infestation hit.” Hotel Representatives:
