• The continental breakfast had delicious varieties.
• The pass key mechanism didn't work correctly, had to go downstairs for help many times.

“We checked in at 2 A.M. and found the staff to be very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The small outdoor pool was clean, though the deck is too small. The indoor spa was large. The water was awesome. Parking was close to all doors. The small refrigerator and microwave allowed my daughter and I to eat in our room and save money on restaurant expenses! Compared to others, this hotel was smaller, but offered a friendly atmosphere. Every staff member was friendly!”

• The coffee machine. Yummy French vanilla!
• Dark burgundy colors in room. Pictures hung high over beds.

“At first I was told there was not a room ready, and the girl behind the desk just said that I had to come back later. Another guy overheard as I was walking away and suggested to call a maid to see if anything was ready. The call was successful. Thanks to the little effort made, I was able to make the most of my day. The girl could have cared less.”

• The room was nice and the hallways were clean.
• Although I reserved the hotel, I was ignored at check-in.

“I enjoyed staying at the Wyndham. The rooms were nice and the entire hotel overall was clean. We used the free shuttle to/from the airport which was fast and convenient. They also had a discount card for a local restaurant. My only issue was during check-in. Other than that, I would definitely stay at another Wyndham.”

• Both hotels were great.

“Both hotels were great! Your service was terrible. My wife went to the hospital and I could not go to the hotel the first day. I spoke to 10 people and they were all rude on May 16, 2008. They wanted me to pay for the hotel room, while my wife was in the hospital. Your supervisors should be trained better. All they had to do is have me fax out the hospital papers. Your reception are rude and crude.”

“Sent a complaint because before my arrival I tried to ask for a special request: no smoking room if possible king, upper floor and quiet location. My stay at the hotel was afterwards very pleasant and the front office staff even took not of upper floor and quiet location.”

• Staff went out of their way to welcome us.
• No restaurant in the hotel.

“We spent four days here. We were in town for Wrestle mania and chose this hotel because it was close to Universal. Rooms are clean. Beds are super comfy. Staff goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Universal is just literally 4 minutes away and it also provides easy access other attractions. There is an IHOP in the connecting parking lot if the continental breakfast isn't your thing. My kids loved the pool and the hot tub area. Overall we had a great experience and plan to return to stay next time we come to Universal/Orlando.”

• The staff was very accommodating and breakfasts were great.
• One day of my stay the room did not get serviced.

“Great place to stay for business or family travel. Overall accommodations were very clean and staff was very helpful. Short drive to major attractions and had to pay tolls every time we went out, but would strongly recommend staying here.”

• Continental breakfast wasn't much to write home about.

“I stayed here for a few days while on business in Orlando. The money I saved by staying at an out-of-the-way location more than paid for the rental car and gas, giving me comfort and flexibility without breaking the budget. The free wired Internet access was the clincher. All in all, the Wingate met my needs at a very fair price. I will definitely stay there again.”

“This was a nice hotel located minutes from Orlando international. It is in an area with other hotels and very convenient to many eating places. The complimentary shuttle and free breakfast were nice. The room was tastefully decorated and the bathroom was modern and clean.”

• Clean, handy, near restaurants and had fridge and microwave.
• Couldn't see outdoor pool.

“This hotel is excellent value for the money. It was a large room, fridge, microwave, soda machines very close to room, elevators quick. Had car rental in lobby, excellent prices. Had snack bar which was handy, 24 hour coffee and fabulous hot breakfast.”

“I was extremely disappointed in the front desk help during the overnight shift. The clerk was apparently asleep during his shift. The front doors were unlocked so anyone could enter the hotel. I did not feel safe. Another guest was wandering the lobby asking if I worked at the hotel at 5am!”

• Breakfast selection and quality was poor. We opted to skip the free breakfast.

“The airport shuttle and free parking at the hotel was a bonus. Overall the room was clean and did not smell. The bathroom appeared to be recently remodeled. We had to request clean sheets for one of the beds, though. They did not offer to change them for us. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage and seating in the room. I would call this an economy hotel. For the price, I would have hoped to have more quality that was evident.”

• Big, quiet rooms that are very clean.
• The jets taking off sometimes is deafening.

“Wonderful hotel! The rooms are big and quiet, and the entire hotel is very clean. The room more than met our needs, and the staff was very efficient. Good breakfast. The one downfall is that the jets roar overhead on one of Orlando's take-off patterns; it can be noisy for someone who doesn't like airplanes.”

• Hot pool, honest staff left my credit card at desk and it was returned in minutes.
• That we were unable to stay here whole vacation. It was excellent.

• The room was very nice and the location was great.
• The air conditioning unit kept coming on all night keeping me awake despite the fact that I had turned it up so it would not come on.

“The location of the hotel was great for me. The staff was friendly and the lobby was well lit. The dining area appeared to be very good; however, I did not dine there. The room was spacious and comfortable, but I had trouble with the air conditioning unit running all night long.”

• Great size beds, down comforters. Very clean, great breakfast.
• Swimming pool not heated.

• It smelled like a cheaper motel.

“Close to major tourist attractions like universal and sea world. Business friendly and close to the orange county convention center. Only 15 minutes or so from the airport so location was perfect.”

• Helpful staff. Complimentary breakfast had the nice touch of make your own waffles. Clean. Free wireless anywhere.
• Due to being full to capacity, they did not have x-tar pillows or blankets when requested.

• There is not anything I did not like.

“This is a great hotel if you want to be near the Orlando airport. The rooms are clean, new, and large. The free hot breakfast and free wireless Internet is a real plus. I had a great stay and would happily stay there again.”

• We never stayed at the Win gate Inn !!!!
• We have never stayed there.

“ As our plane from Europe (Washington DC ) did not arrive in Orlando until 5 minutes before midnight, I listed as arrival date "May 29th" instead of "May 28th "we stayed at the courtyard by Marriott, however, I am now being charged for two hotel stays, even so a customer rep told me on the phone there would be a $25.00 service charge to cancel the Wingate Inn reservation, not the full amount as charged on my Am.Exp.Card.”
