• The balcony where we could sit & enjoy the weather.
• The beds felt old and sagged.

“Hotel staff was very friendly. The Sports bar menu was very limited. The rooms were very clean, but the beds were old and sagged when you sat on them. The noise from neighboring rooms could be heard clearly throughout the night and sleep was difficult. The car was delivered by valet in a timely manner all weekend. Room service was backed up an hour on Saturday night, very customer unfriendly. A special request for two empty champagne glasses was met with a poor attitude, but were eventually delivered. The balcony for the room was shared with the room next door, with a plant in between to create an illusion of privacy.”

• It was a very pretty hotel.
• Didn't care a lot about guest concerns.

“The fridge that was in our room, didn't work, and they already new that. They bought up a small fridge that looked like it had fallen off a truck and rolled 5 miles. They plot it down on my floor and left. Who wants a hotel room with a beat up fridge just sitting on the floor somewhere. Had to wait for them to send someone up to fix the problem. TV services didn't work, even tho we gave them a credit card. heating/air system didn't work right.”

• Clean rooms, plush, amd spacious.
• The bar staff were less than accommodating. Service was slow or nonexistent

“The hotel is very nice. Champagne upon arrival. The lobby is a bit weird with a large open space which gives the hotel an empty feeling. Creating intimate seating areas, even temporarily would have been nicer. The rooms were plush and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. Bathrobes would have been nice. Rooms also have refrigerators which is always a plus. Our room was located directly in front of the elevators and other than occasionally hearing people talking in the hall, the noise from the elevators was virtually zero.”

• Amenities, one of the best exercise rooms I have seen in a hotel.

• Parking fee was very expensive.

“Located next to sea world. Nothing really spectacular about the hotel. It had large clean rooms with a down comforter on the bed & flat screen TV. Public areas were nice but not noteworthy. If you are a family going to sea world this is a great hotel. Parking fees were high although not uncommon for this class hotel in the area.”

• The staff was very pleasant and helpful & the rooms were very clean, convenient and extremely comfortable. Loved it!
• They charged for parking on a daily basis. If I am a guest I should not have to pay for parking.

“The hotel was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. You instantly feel like your on vacation from the moment they offer you a complimentary glass of champaign at check-in. The amenities are great, beautiful pool, hot tub, tennis courts, work out room etc. The rooms are big, bright and spacious and very comfortable. My only complaint is that they charge guests $12 a day for parking.”

• Hot tubs were not always hot.

“Huge open atrium was dramatic. Across the street from Sea World, decent but pricey sushi bar, nice size pool with two hot tubs - not always hot though! Staff was great, room was very nice, granite bathroom with two sinks, somewhat larger room in that it was very wide, flatscreen TV, nice beds and
large window with nice view. Great for us and our two daughters to stay in. Very nice Starbucks in the hotel.”

• The temperature of the pool was kept too chilly.

• The hotel breakfast buffet was unbelievably good. The price was reasonable for the many delicious selections offered.
• Took too long for housekeeping to deliver needed towels.

“This is a beautiful atrium style hotel, located across the street from parking for Seaworld. Rooms are spacious, adequately furnished and clean. The lush tropical appearance of the lobby is at once soothing and comfortable. Customer service was excellent. Self-parking and valet parking are available.”

• The bed and linens were extremely comfortable and
  decor of hotel lobby was amazing.
• The room sofa and chair were too hard/firm.

“Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Very convenient to Sea World (within walking distance) and Discovery Cove. All hotel employees I came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. Very cool lobby area. Bed was very comfortable. Linens were soft. Rooms were clean.”

• The bedding.
• Could hear a simple conversation in the room next door, even at 4 AM like it was in my own room! Very bizarre!

• The staff, the layout and accommodations were wonderful.
• The main restaurant was not re-opened following their (completed) renovations.

“The front desk greeted us at check-in with a complimentary flute of champagne. We arrived on a motorcycle, and were shown the motorcycle parking area which is directly behind the valet desk just a few feet from the front door. What a wonderful convenience! All of the staff members we met, were extremely friendly and very helpful. The layout of the atrium and public spaces, along with the main bar area was very unique with beautiful visual/architectural styling. The seating areas and the color choices were very exciting. The king bed in our room was very comfortable with a wide variety of pillow choices. The sitting areas and the flat-screen TV were top notch. Large, double sink vanity in the bathroom was a great feature, along with good lighting. The room view choices were interior to the atrium or exterior. We choose exterior and it was as described. From the 9th floor a long distance view of the Sea World complex just across the street. I was disappointed in the dessert I ordered late-night from room service. It was not quite as I thought from the description. I called down to change my order and they promptly replaced it, and they removed the charge completely along with their apology. I was quite impressed. Overall a great place to stay. I have already recommended it to others.”

• The atrium and bars are fantastic - great spaces to chill out, and the pool/Jacuzzis are beautiful.
• All of the bars close early - like 9pm - even on a Saturday night!

“Beautiful lobby, very upscale, close to everything in Orlando, many bars/restaurants to choose from, and one of the more beautiful pools/Jacuzzis I've seen at a non-resort property. The pool even has an outside bar (closed when I went at night, of course). Friendly and efficient staff.”

“Overall my experience at this hotel was excellent with one major exception. This hotel happens to be located directly across the street from the Sea World paring lot. In order to discourage Sea World visitors from parking in the hotel lot, there is a parking charge even if you are a guest of the hotel. No other hotels in the area have a parking fee. If you're not driving then I highly recommend the hotel, otherwise expect this charge.”

• No free parking, no enough pool-side activity, no good restaurant.

“Overall experience was very good. Things that I did not like about was-no free high speed internet-no free parking-not enough toys to play with at pool-not enough things to play with (only one ping pong table, only one pool table, small arcade)-want more family-oriented. After all, it's right next to sea world, very close to Universal studio and Disney.-restaurant was pricey and menu was not very attractive. Why not seafood buffet?”

“Upscale looking hotel right across the street of the parking lot of Sea World. Modern-looking lobby with a look-and-feel of "Sea World". Flat screen TVs behind the registration counter make it seem like super-large aquariums. Very clean. A lot of visitors and families with young children here, as we can tell with the neighboring room and a crying baby. But the room was comfortable and the noises were not an issue. Great in-and-out location near major highways and access to International Drive.”
