• The location is perfect especially if you are not renting a car. the comfort in the room and cleanlinnes cant be beat for the price
• Some of the staff could have been nicer and tried to appear to like their job.

“this hotel has very nice rooms for a great price. you get a microwave, a refrigerator, tv and a very nice bed. The hotel has two game rooms, two restaurants and small store where you can get sandwiches, refreshments and other things like a toothbrush 24 hours. the beds are comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean.”

• The hotel was very clean.
• The furniture in the room was run down. The faucet was separate from the bathroom.

“The service and breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. The furniture was peeling and looked run down. I really did not like the way our bathroom and faucet were in different rooms.”

• Spacious suites on top floor, great view.
• TV reception not great. Needs more selection.

“My wife and are were astounded with our room. The suites on the top floor were great. Spacious with a great view. Bed was good. We brought our own pillows, but we normally do when on short trips. The Shogun Steakhouse connected to the hotel was excellent!”

• Location was excellent. Great value.
• Only one elevator worked and was always full.

“Check-in was swift with no wait. I loved the location. It was close to all the Orlando area attractions. It was also close to shopping such as the prime outlets and the upscale Mall At Millenia. Rooms were comfortable and clean. (and, excellent views of the city and I-drive). My only complaint was only one of three elevators worked at any given time. And, that one elevator was always full or had a line. But, overall, it was a great value for the money! I'd definitely recommend this hotel. (Especially for families) I'm sure I'll stay there again.”

“This hotel was old and run down. Our toilet would not hardly flush and the water would not drain out of the tub after a shower. It was horrible. Our room was at the end of the hall next to the laundry, the paint was peeling off the wall, there was a poorly patched hole in our door and the bathroom floor was nasty!”

• Just seemed a little worn out as a hotel, needs lots of updates.

“Great location if you are going to Universal. Right on the edge of the strip and Starbucks is right across the street. Very helpful staff and the information desk was great. However, the hotel was worn out for lack of a better word. Needed to be throughly cleaned from top to bottom or really remodeled.”

• It was good value for the level of accommodation provided.
• Decor of rooms and public areas was a bit dingy.

“My wife and I found this to be suitable accommodation for a one night stay after a long flight from Ireland. As the room had a fridge and microwave it could be used for longer stays. Car parking was free. Its location close to I-4 is very convenient for those traveling further south-west.”

• Location was optimum.
• Rooms were not fresh.

“We had to change initial room assigned because it did not smell fresh. The other one was better, but not by much. The bathroom was so small it could not accommodate a bin and there was no where to place personal effects. We also could clearly hear the conversations from the adjoining room through the bathroom vent. However the location was a premium.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly.
• The food was horrible.

“We were pleased with the room and the staff was very nice. The food in the restaurant was awful though and we could not get an iron because they were all lent out (you had to get the iron from the front desk). Otherwise the experience was okay.”

• Right around the corner from Universal.
• Ice machine was broken.

“This was a great place to go after being at Universal all day. It was about 1 mile from the park and then right in the middle of International drive with a million things to do and places to eat.”

• It was a go location for the parks we wanted to go to.
• We did not like that the desk clerk did not tell us the right location of our room.

“The hotel stay was good after we travel up and down the elevator in the wrong building before we found out that we were in the building across from the building that they told us that we were in. When we went to the first room it was on the fourth floor and the desk clerk did not tell us their was an elevator until I complained about the stair and had them to give us a room on the second floor instead. After that our vacation was wonderful. There were no more problems or anything.”

• For the price everything was good.

“Everything in international drive is walking distance. A bus takes you to the different park. Eating is all accessible by walking for being a hotel. I will stay there every time I visit that area.”

• Convenient to Water Parks and Universal Studios. Located close to all attractions on international drive, very clean and friendly people.
• Very basic.

“Hotel was very convenient to all attractions around universal studios in Orlando. Price was very good for people traveling on a budget. Room was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. Adjacent restaurant was excellent. Helpful staff, room was very basic/generic but clean and comfortable. Would stay here again for my travels to Orlando.”

“I was very surprised the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, the view of my room, I could see every night the Universal fireworks. The location is great and you can walk to eat from good expensive restaurants to family budget places to eat. Nice pool size with towels. I will go back soon.”

“This hotel was dirty. It smelled and was in need of a deep cleaning. The bed spread had stains and needed to be replaced. Even if you're in for one night, spend the extra money for a better hotel. Inexpensive should not mean dirty.”

• Dinner should have dinner and should have a children's pool.

“The first room that was issued to me smelled like mold. However, once it was changed it was the cleanliness that was very appealing. The cleaning crew is very efficient. I liked that it had a mini refrigerator and a microwave in the room. It was relatively comfortable if you don't mind sharing a room.”

• Conveniently located and roomy.
• Noisy while trying to sleep, staff at counter was slow, room had extensive water on carpet near bathroom wall.

“It took 30 minutes to check-in because the employee did not know how to change us to another room we had requested. The room was clean and appropriately supplied. The room had a terrible leak from heavy rain which dampened the carpet extensively next to the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Our coffee pot was never cleaned during our 5 day stay, sometimes we got coffee and sometimes we got cups but not consistent. Was not able to get good sleep because our room was above the entrance to the hotel. Security, staff and others would stand outside to smoke and visit. It was quite loud. The laundry washer and dryer worked. However, the dryer was not able to dry on the first try, so I spent a total of $3.50 to dry one small load of clothes. The vending machine next to our room was empty at least 2 full days that we stayed there. The pool area was fine, no problems. Liked having a vault in the room with refrigerator and microwave. We did not use the small store or restaurant. Was able to get a nicer room.”
