“Hotel location is great, easy access to gift shops and restaurants. We left the Hotel around 11 am, and returned around 4:30 pm, the housekeeper still not clean the hotel room. Also, there are some spider web on the lamps. Other than that, overall experience of this hotel is great.” Jan 22, 2008 by
Carol from Lockort, IL
“Good location for price nice staff.” Jan 8, 2008 by

“Good location for those visiting Universal, okay for Disney parks if you have your own car. Well-equipped rooms (with Priority Club upgrade), hallways functional. Adequate parking.” Jan 4, 2008 by
Beatriz from Deland, FL
“My son and I got to the hotel around at 2:00 pm, I was told we could not check in until 3:00 pm; even thought I kept seeing people checking in. I asked about a handicapped room and someone went with me to show me the room that was available, we never found the room; try pushing a child in a wheelchair around. Went back to front desk and informed the young woman, I asked her to leave my original request; she then informed me that the original room would not be available now until 4:00 pm. At 4:15pm the front desk told me that they were never told anything and my reservation was for a handicapped room. I insisted on the room that I had to wait for until 4:00 pm. Since my child and I had to wait until 4:00 pm to check in. I can tell you that I will not go back and I have certainly informed my friends and co-workers to stay away from the big green hotel at this location.” Jan 1, 2008 by

“Very nice and clean hotel at a very convenient location. Had issues with the microwave and water not draining in the shower. Both issues were fixed immediately. Very courteous staff. Excellent internet access. The room that was provided was not close to the elevator which is a problem if you have lots of luggage to lug around. The only drawback was that they don't provide free breakfast. The hotel has a restaurant which I thought was a little expensive for vegetarians. You do have to tell the cleaner to remove any wet towels lying around, fold the table for ironing etc. As otherwise they just make your bed and leave!” Nov 28, 2007 by
Charlie from Pierre, SD
“If you are looking for a place to stay on the north side of International Drive, this is a good choice. It is convenient to the attractions, restaurants and shopping in that part of town. It's not "high-end"; but, very good for families looking for a functional place to stay.” Nov 21, 2007 by
Keely from Huntsville, AL
“The hotel was on a very busy street that was very difficult to get in and out of. The tower we stayed in was extremely busy and the elevators were slow. One person in the restaurant staff was great the other was not very friendly. The front desk staff was great too.” Nov 7, 2007 by
Disappointed T. from Edina, MN
“Location is the only good thing this hotel has to offer. But in return for that you have to share the room with a couple colonies of ants (who very quickly find any food or drink you dare to bring into the room even inside the fridge!), endure the musty smells and crumbling off ceiling. Wouldn't recommend staying there. For literally $5 more you can get a much better hotel.” Oct 29, 2007 by
Amy from Summerville, SC
“The hotel was clean, but needed updating. The rooms looked dated.” Oct 19, 2007 by
Suzette from Northbrook, IL
“It seems that the hotel is in need of a make over. Many of the veneers were chipped and my room the air conditioner was not working properly and the shower was not working properly. In spite of all this the staff responded immediately to my concerns and fixed my shower so I could turn the cold water on and regulate the temp. While I was in a business meeting they replaced my air conditioner and thanked me for pointing out the problems. I would rate this hotel a 4 star in customer relationships but only a 2.5 star in upkeep. When all was said and done, my room was clean and bed was relatively comfortable. I would consider staying there again.” Oct 17, 2007 by
Jammie from Woodside, NY
“Good for sleeping and getting to universal. Pool was ok even thought the whirlpool didn't, well, whirl. Suntan mike by the pool was fun and gave me a tan prescription. They charge for the business center. The public bathrooms were really grody. The 4 pm check in is ridiculous. I showed up at the hotel at 11 am and asked for an early check in (I tried calling the night before and they couldn't do it) and I swear I called every hour after 11 and the room was not ready till 4 pm. I had to hang out by the pool in my luggage. Not one single room was cleaned and ready according to them. 4 pm check in and 11 am check out. They sure don't leave you any time to spend in your room. That really pissed me off.” Oct 16, 2007 by
Linda from Cookeville, TN
“It was a great price. Everything was close and the free transportation was great. I think it was a good value for what we paid.” Jul 23, 2007 by
Michele from Cocoa, FL
“Pick another hotel! We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel. Among the many dirty areas was the elevator, the pool, the hot tub, the rusted lounge chairs by the pool, a dirty plate of pasta that sat in the hallway for over 12 hours with many hotel employees walking right past it and none of the soda machines on 3 separate floors would work. However, the room "seemed" to be clean, but makes me wonder "how clean" compared to the rest of the hotel. If you don't want a view of Interstate 4 or to be right in the middle of International Drive tourist madness stay clear of this hotel.” Jul 22, 2007 by
Peggy from Cape Coral, FL
“Great place to bring kids. Wonderful pool area and plenty to do in the immediate area. I would certainly go back again.” Jul 9, 2007 by
James from Alexandria, VA

“We were assigned to a room that was already occupied. Although, the manager was nice enough to assigned me to another room to my liking. And also provided 2 coupons $10 each for the breakfast. I was pleased and satisfied of how the manager handled the situation. Overall, the location was convenient to the entire major nearest theme parks, shopping centers and restaurants.” Jul 27, 2006 by

“Location was good for people going to universal studio's, Disney was a short drive away.” Jul 23, 2006 by
Justin from Fishers, IN
“I stayed at the atrium (?) towel building. The facility is old but it is not too bad. The room is spacious with several features I really like: coffee maker, fridge and microwave. But I am really not happy with the room:1) Toilet is not working properly. Man, I hate it...2) The AC is either on or off. There is no way you can fine tune it. I don't think the hotel doesn't know the problems. They simply don't solve those problems. I will NEVER EVER return to those hotels. ” Jul 20, 2006 by
Gary from Folsom, CA
“Pick a different hotel.” Jul 17, 2006 by
Sue from Naples, FL
“The hotel was convenient for Sea World and Universal. There were activities and restaurants close by. Good place for a family stay.” Jul 15, 2006 by
Kirk from Sarasota, FL
“I could not recommend this hotel to anyone except someone with a family that is governed by what they can spend. The only thing good was the location for a family as there is a lot of arcade type entertainment there.” Jul 14, 2006 by
G from Miami, FL
“This was a very nice hotel. It offered many activities and services, and the staff was very helpful. I felt safe with my children, and we were able to walk to "Wet n' Wild."” Jul 13, 2006 by
Robert from Concord, NC
“This hotel exceeded most of our expectations for what we paid. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. The pool area was very nice and large with a waterfall and hot tub. The restaurant was a bit pricey, but overall we enjoyed our stay. We will be back!” Jul 10, 2006 by
Danielle from Port St Lucie, FL
“After reading some reviews I was apprehensive. No worries was extremely satisfied. Room were a little dated, but the location for me made up for it.” Jul 7, 2006 by
Tom from Valdosta, GA
“Proximity to area attractions and I-4 was good. Hotel staff, other than the personnel at check-in were good. Front desk personnel was less than helpful. Called ahead twice to make sure we were getting the type of room we requested. When we got there stood on line for about 15 minutes. Needed a non-smoking room, got a smoking room. When I brought this to their attention I had to wait an additional 15 minutes. Then was given a room with two doubles when we had requested a king. Not sure I would stay here again and I am a member of Holiday Inn's Priority Club.” Jul 4, 2006 by
Stacy from Vero Beach, FL
“I loved the location of this hotel. We were able to walk to the Wet N Wild water park and many restaurants without having to fight the traffic on International Drive. Do not try to use their so-called transportation to any of the theme parks though; they only have one trip in the morning and a few limited choices in the evening to return to the hotel. Our room was much bigger than I anticipated and it was clean. It is quite a large hotel and when we went to check out there were only two employees working at the desk and quite a long line. I had already put everything on my credit card and had to stand in line for 20 minutes just for them to tell me I had a zero balance. I cannot believe they do not have an automatic check-out system like many other hotels. Overall, though, I was very happy and would stay there again.” Jun 29, 2006 by
Cindy from Inverness, FL
“Overall I was not happy and would not return to this hotel. I would not rate this hotel as 3 stars as I have been to 3 star hotels and in my opinion the only thing 3 stars about it was the outside and lobby areas. I did not trust sleeping in my room as to it being clean. There was a hole in the ceiling at the foot of our bed which led me to believe that someone had a camera hanging there to make videos, which would explain the cigarette butts and the condoms. I told the staff about it and the only thing they said was, well I hope the condoms were unopened. ” Jun 12, 2006 by
Judie from Montgomery, AL
“The evening prior, I called and spoke to an individual who places people in rooms and she told us we would get a room with a king size bed, a sleeper sofa, and a roll-a-way bed because we had 3 adults and 2 children. When we arrived, the room we were given had a king size bed, no sofa, and no roll-a-way bed. It took 45 min. and 2 trips to the room to get into a room with a sleeper sofa. (We said to forget about the roll-a-way bed). Restaurant workers were not very friendly. We felt like it was a bother for them to wait on us. (All we ordered was the buffet!) This hotel is more suited for groups as it seems to cater to large groups.” Jun 11, 2006 by
Stan from Lexington, SC
“Hotel had been remodeled but something was lacking. Beds were uncomfortable.” Jun 11, 2006 by
Geronimo from Stratford, CT
“This is a very old hotel that looks like it has been created from several properties. While the hotel is relatively clean it could use a top to bottom renovation.” Jun 10, 2006 by
Sheri from Ormond Beach, FL
“The hotel is in a location for all attractions. But it is in need of some updating. Especially the pools. The rooms that are most suitable for larger families; Are in the towers; Which are not the best for small children. Because of the low railings that over look the balconies; Which overlook the cement center courts. I would not rate this a 3 star hotel. I would not pick this hotel again either.” Jun 5, 2006 by
Jennifer from Chicago, IL
“The hotel room had a terrible smell. I would not let my 13 month old baby go on our hotel room floor. Kept on the bed most of the time; otherwise, we were carrying her. The food at the hotel restaurant tasted horrible. The hotel needs a total renovation!!!” Jun 3, 2006 by
Beth from Meriden, CT
“Overall our stay was excellent, the hotel appears to be a little run down, but the room and bathroom were very clean, housekeeping was Excellent, and the staff was pleasant. The hotel is very close to everything, but Universal Dr is very busy Friday and Saturday night. Overall I give the hotel 4 out of 5 stars.” Jun 1, 2006 by
Cari from West Jordan, UT
“The hotel was fine. It has a nice swimming pool. The location was perfect next to lots of different activities. The room was fine. It wasn't extravagant but satisfied our needs. We had a great view of the city. The fridge and microwave were very convenient. the beds were comfortable. It did have a strong chemical smell in the room but it was clean. The staff was courteous. Overall it was an okay hotel.” May 31, 2006 by
Darlene from Anchorage, AK
“I liked the hotel, it has a great pool. I love to swim so my mornings were nice. Very few people use the pool in the morning. I wish you did not have to pay extra to use the computers. We had plans to visit the attractions in this area so the hotel was conveniently located. If I were taking kids this place would be ideal. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff were nice, they could speak English which was helpful.” May 31, 2006 by
Debra from Seattle, WA
“Was worried due to mixed reviews. a little old but large rooms. Only just a 3 star for me, smallish pool though a nice area to sit and watch too. OK overall, no complaints but no nice surprises either.” May 27, 2006 by
Jessica from Denver, CO
“This hotel is family friendly and safe in a great location right on International Drive. There is lots to do and lots to eat all within walking distance. Universal Studios and City Walk are only a couple minutes away. The rooms are big and comfortable, but the carpet and wallpaper seems old and a little dirty. The bathroom didn't seem as clean as it should, with the toilet paper holder pulling all the way out of the wall when you used it. But, this was a great place for what we paid ($70.00 a night), but I doubt I would pay more than that.” May 26, 2006 by
Ed from Marietta, GA
“Great hotel in the middle of all the tourist attractions.” May 26, 2006 by
Sonia from Raynham, MA
“Low Budget +2* hotel geared towards families. Location excellent for a low budget tourist who thrives in the lower end of the tourist market of being located amongst cheap souvenir stores and the lower end restaurants and bars. Rooms clean (although smelt of damp) and had all of the standard amenities a tourist should have in a room.” May 25, 2006 by
Nathan from Baltimore, MD
“This is a great location for anyone wanting to be near wet & wild water park and all the cheap buffets. It is at the old part of international drive. The hotel is very old and run down, needs a complete remodel. The tower we stayed in had a nice room with very comfortable beds but the elevator took forever to get to the 11th floor. The front of the tower where the drive up is to drop off quest is falling apart with the rotten wood showing on the corner. This is a very dangerous tower for small kids because the halls are very narrow and the railing are small to prevent anyone from falling over to the open concrete below. The safe in our room did not work and if you wanted ice you had to go down to the bottom floor and to the other building to get to the machine. It had no spa!” May 24, 2006 by
Betty from Indianapolis, IN
“Who ever rates these hotels need to re rate this one. The lobby may be but not the rooms. Our hips from the beds hurt so bad, couldn't sleep on your side had to sleep on your back and we tried sleeping in both of the beds but it didn't matter they both were terrible. Our phone never worked the whole time we were there, good thing we had cell phones. The pool was nice and it was in a good location. They need to spray for bugs because there were baby roaches in the room.” May 23, 2006 by
Angela from Oostburg, WI
“The pool was excellent. I was very disappointed in the room. The hotel is an older hotel with outdated furniture (like from the 70's). Our room was not clean, the bathroom was loaded with dust and grime in the corners. The hotel was my main disappointment of this vacation. It was NOT a 3 star experience!!” May 21, 2006 by
John from Ft Lauderdale, FL
“Very nice w/ all comforts, nice landscaping.” May 19, 2006 by
Rock from Marlborough, MA
“This is an older property on the North Side (the cheap side) of International drive. It really shows its age. The shower did not drain, and even after I asked maintenance to fix it, it did not drain the next day. Hot water was not hot. The furniture, carpets, bed, pillows, etc. were old and dirty. And I was in a nicer room in the tower! ” May 19, 2006 by
Chris from Macomb, MI
“I had a bad experience, generally, with this hotel. The room was OK except the door had to be slammed shut and the bathtub is to narrow (shoulders touch the wall or curtain while showering) The pool was OK, but it had some dirty thing sticking up next to the fake rocks for no apparent reason. The hotel is located close to Universal and pretty close to Sea World but surrounded by cheap "Bargain-World" shopping and dirty eateries. The wonderful semi-English speaking front desk clerk put my family next to the conveniently located smelly dumpster, but it was "facing the pool" like she claimed. ” May 18, 2006 by
Joy from Dublin, GA
“As for the prior concern I had had regarding this hotel, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Upon arrival, I requested a non-smoking room with 2 beds and they were able to accommodate that. The staff was courteous. The room was adequate; but the bathroom was a little small. Very big relief to find that the toilet DID work! Elevator seemed to be a little slow and the hallways could use a little fresh paint. We had planned to use the Fitness Room but there wasn't a lot of machines available. But, the grounds were pretty and the hotel had a tropical theme. We were only there for 2 nights. Spent one day at Universal Studios and it was very near by. We also purchased our tickets and a meal ticket (which was a very good value) at the hotel so that saved some time. We didn't stay in the room much, but I would not have a problem with receiving this hotel again.” May 15, 2006 by
Alan from Matawan, NJ
