“The place looked good from the outside. Once we changed rooms because the air conditioning was in pieces on the floor and they did not even know. The bugs kept us on our towels the rest of the time. They would not even give me a receipt upon leaving.”

• It was quiet. I could not hear other guests or staff. The kitchen was nice.
• The bed was a little hard but not too bad.

“This hotel was easy to find and there are a lot of close by restaurants, stores & bank in the area. Check in was quick. The room was clean & fresh. There was a full kitchen that was nice.”

“This Homewood studio suites was one of the best I've stayed in yet. A homey atmosphere, lobby included a living room with books, large screen TV, sofa, huge arm chairs. The staff was extremely cordial. The whole appearance of this hotel was inviting, even down to the well kept landscaping. Close interstate access. Top as well as numerous local restaurants. Definitely recommend for family vacation, business travelers. Oh yes & extremely pet friendly!”

• Good location. Nice to have the kitchen amenities.
• No business center.

“This was kind of a sad place to stay. Less like a hotel room and more like a modest studio apartment. Slightly depressing. Had to take out your own garbage at the end of your stay. Not that I mind that much, it was just very odd to do that in a hotel. The air conditioning was off when I arrived on a very hot and humid night. It took several hours for the room to reach a comfortable sleeping temperature.”

• Location great, reasonable restaurants near, safe, attractive, bed good, couch good, TV OK, kitchen good, I'll go back.
• Dishes needed to be cleaner, TV needs more channels, and pool/hot tub would be nice.

“This is an extended stay hotel. It purports to have a kitchenette and the necessary accessories for it. We stayed in a different extended stay just four days prior to this booking. That was a candlewood with a 2 star rating. It was wonderful. By comparison this homestead in Beachwood, Ohio was about 1/2 star. The building is poorly constructed, lots of plumbing noise, poor sound control. Notice was clearly given that dirty dishes would result in extra charges but there was no detergent with which to wash them. The TV remote did not work. The HVAC unit indicated a need for service. Otherwise the site was convenient with nearby restaurants. Far enough away from the highway to be quiet. The staff was adequate, professional and polite.”

• The grounds were spotless and the pools were exceptionally clean.
• Rooms were a bit small and the bed was not as firm as I would have liked it.

“My family goes to Orlando at least once or twice a year, and I will stay at this hotel again. The coffee in the room left a lot to be desired, but that seems to be the way it is everywhere I have stayed recently. There was so much to do at the hotel alone that we did not use everything that they offered. It was clean and they left towels out by the pool for our use which was excellent. The front desk staff was exceptionally courteous even though my three night stay was actually three separate reservations. We will stay here again.”

• There was stale urine in the toilet when we arrived. The room smelled like rotting fish.

• Not as noisy during the day and the staff was nice.
• It is a residence in no pool to far from things.

“Would never go back thereto far from where I needed to be, I could not check in for 4 hours after arrival traveling from Honolulu to east coast because rooms were not ready. I was homeless for 4 hours not happy about that. I had to clean my own room and make my own bed; ask for bar soap and towels they only clean the rooms once a week. The restaurants I wanted to go to then drive all the way back up to the hotel exit and start over. A Beachwood police car was parked across the street to prevent any one from going around the road block and ticketed people. If I decided to walk to the restaurants I would have to scale the construction site because all sidewalks were gone. Flop house transitional housing people looking to move to Cleveland would live there for a few months till they found a place. Very noisy at night doors slamming, loud nasty people in halls.”

• Waited 25 mins to be let into the lobby and the desk clerk was rude.

“Hotel was safe and clean but the night staff is ridiculous. You have to call from a house phone to be let into the lobby after 11 PM. We waited 25 mins to be let into the lobby for check in. Arrived at 12:30 AM and did not get into our room until 1AM. Desk clerk stated that she was helping a guest. We have two small children and just wanted to get at least into the lobby and out of the entryway.”

• Easy access to the hotel from major highways. Staff was accommodating to an early check-in, which was great.
• Dirty! There were hairs and "scum" in the bathroom, and the sheets didn't look/feel very fresh.

“Hotel room was generally dirty. The bathroom was especially nasty. The sheets were old, as was the furniture. We just didn't feel very clean there.”

• I was not told front desk closes at 11 and doors are locked, I did call informing of late arrival, instructions for late arrival inside by the desk.

“Hotel was well maintained. Rooms were clean. All customers should be informed of desk hours, and time front doors are locked. as instructions for calling security to get a room key are inside near the front desk, and front doors are locked.”

• Everything was very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating.
• The staff was not sure what a roll-away bed was and the dish-soap did not work well.

“Overall, it was good. Being a suite, I expected either a dishwasher or dish-soap; the dish-soap had to be requested (not a problem), but did not clean very well. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, though there was some confusion about what roll-away beds are; the mystery was solved and we were able to procure one.”

“This is not a two star hotel. This is an extended stay facility for long term lodging. Any two star hotels should have daily housekeeping at no extra charge. It should also have nightly desk staff. The rooms were very dirty. ”

“Two travelers do not mean husband and wife. In this case it meant two males and they did not share a bed. Therefore one of them slept on the floor. Internet access should not be an extra charge unless your are at a lower "star" hotel.”

• All the accommodations were low end-bed, pillows, bathroom etc.

“The bed was very uncomfortable, and there were only 2 thin pillows on the bed. Despite reading the directions for the heating system, I never could get warm. The kitchen area would have been useful if we were staying for several days, but, there were no supplies like dish detergent, sponges etc. And that was not included in the housekeeping duties. Nothing in the info about the hotel indicated that you should bring your own. There were only 2 plates, forks, spoons etc. Also, because there is 1 ice tray in the freezer in your room, there is no ice machine in the hotel. A little too economical for my tastes.”

“The hotel doesn't have maid service unless you pay extra. The trash can had trash in it from the previous guests. The bathroom mirror, when steamed, has written messages on it, letting me know that it hadn't been cleaned. No shampoo in room. The "full kitchen" had a fridge, microwave, and two electric burners. They said I was responsible for washing dishes, but they had no dish soap. Listed as a two star, but definitely a 1 star.”

• Pleasant, cheerful, well maintained, clean, good safe appearing neighborhood.
• Trash bins overflowing at entrance. Insufficient cooling of room by air conditioning unit.

“Kitchen facilities with refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster and range allowed for a cozy, restful atmosphere and home-like snacking during my stay here. Based alone on these stay-at-home conveniences, I will choose this type of hotel again in the future. Excellent value, money well spent.”

• Having a kitchen with the kids helped us have a nice small breakfast and snacks in the room saving us money but also allowing us time together.
• There wasn't a pool or workout area on site and nothing for the kids to do outside of the room.
