• Hot shower, cold AC, and lukewarm breakfast.
• Staff felt free to lie about an accident and the management took the easy out.

“Be careful with your personal belongings. The bellhop dropped our laptop bag, after leading us down the wrong corridor and apologizing because it was his first week. The extra walk was fine, but after dropping the well-padded laptop backpack, he said Oh, sorry, looks like a laptop bag and I tipped him a few bucks and said that I thought it was okay. Opening the bag after he left revealed that the 17" Powerbook was dented and the sound didn't work anymore because the damage was at the headphone port. After discussing this with their management and they took pictures, we later were contacted by them that they would be siding with their lying bellhop who claimed he didn't drop anything. Lesson learned. Other than that, pretty good. Breakfast choices were repeated each of the three days we stayed but was better than most. Water tasted weird. Shuttle service to Disney was on time everytime. Did I mention they dropped my laptop and then lied about it? That ticked me off. Like I would take a broken computer 1500 miles and then blame them so I could get it fixed.”

• Prompt courteous service for the most part and pretty clean.
• The hotel desk person who greeted us was very business like but extremely cold and unfriendly, he didn't even greet us hello or welcome.

“The hotel desk person had a co-worker who stepped in to be friendlier who gave our greeter a look as if to say, "greet your guests". His personality really stunk, although he was a fast worker. In addition, I had to go back and ask for an item later and although this same person gave it to me, he again, failed to greet me at all and made me feel like an intruder when no one else was at the desk waiting for service. The rest of the hotel greeters were extremely warm and friendly which did help a lot to dismiss the other one's lack of enthusiasm. Also, the bathroom tub wasn't clean enough, there are products that clean tubs white as snow with little work, I have a hard time understanding why some hotel tubs look so dingy as ours did. The rest was very nice.”

“I believe this would be a great kid friendly hotel with a nice looking pool and arcade. The room was quite run down with a stain on the carpet and some water damage in the bathroom. Bathroom also did not have a vent. The manager's reception and breakfast are great though.”

• I liked the layout of our room and how close it was to disney.
• the pool was not kept well at all. It was dirty. the food was disgusting, and expensive.

“I was disappointed. I put in for a four star hotel, and this was not even close. Next time I am not sure I would trust priceline to make my reservation!”

• We loved the dive in theatre great for the children.

“Our check in and check out was flawless and our stay was wonderful. Every staff member was extremely friendly and truly seemed to enjoy their job. It was one of the nicest stays I've ever had in a hotel in Orlando and for the money and services offered, it will be my choice for all future visits.”

“The hotel at Lake Buena Vista has been a delightful experience for me and my family for the past 3 years. The staff is very courteous and helpful, the rooms are clean and there are enough amenities for children and adults. It is much better than the hotel on Jamaican Court.”

• I liked the pool, bar and design of the hotel especially having a living room and a bedroom.
• I don't like that the pool and other things close before 11 p.m.

• The staff made our experience there a special one to remember.
• The tables in the dining area were mostly unstable (minor inconvenience).

“We chose Embassy Suites because of positive past experiences and were pleased to see that they have only gotten better. Our children loved the pool and "Dive-in-theater", the slushies and snacks during happy hour, and the morning breakfast. The hotel itself makes you feel like you are not just away but exploring. We will definitely stay there again.”

• Mold in bathroom, ongoing construction next to room.

“Nice get-away 1 minute from Disney property snack in evening in lobby and breakfast is a real deal when you are traveling with kids. For $15 we added a pizza from Pizza Hut (in the hotel) and didn't have to leave the site. Kids loved the pool. Construction in and around hotel was annoying.1 elevator didn't work. Room not the cleanest for E. Suites (i.e.. mold in bathroom on tiles)”

• I didn't like how dirty the first room we had was. Toothpaste on floor. Dirty toilet.

“This hotel was not very clean. Our first room we were given was filthy. The bathroom was dirty, toothpaste on the floor and shower curtain. Some spot of stuff on toilet seat. Mung on the kitchen counter. Beds looked like they were slept in already and just remade. Very wrinkled! Second room we were given was much cleaner. Manager went out of his way to make it better. We had very nice staff always. The staff went above and beyond in regards to bell hop, maintenance (we had an a/c problem and they fixed and left us truffles and we had a toilet clog and they came, plunged, and cleaned entire bathroom again. The breakfast was less than desirable. There was a squirrel running around in the area and on the tables! There were also birds all over. And the cleanliness of the dishes and silverware was awful. We had to go through 2-25 plates to find 5 somewhat clean ones. The plates had lots of food on them; one even had a mound of cheesy eggs still on them. Very gross! But the chef was very nice and good at cooking!”

“The carpet in our room was soaking wet by the bed. Also, someone obviously had checked into our room and then discovered that the carpet was wet. They did not clean after that person moved to another room. There were dirty washcloths in the bathroom and hair on the counter and sink. We also had to have a very large fan in the bedroom running during our entire stay to dry the carpet. The hotel made no attempt to compensate us for this inconvenience.”

“I am giving this hotel a very mixed review. Our room was recently remodeled, very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. The location to Disney was great. No longer than 12 minutes to any park. However, the elevators, outside hallways and hotel grounds in general were dirty. Windows need washing, pool area was dirty, noisy power washing of the building was going on during our stay. The general feel was unkempt. Too bad as we are great fans of embassy suites but we would not go back to this hotel.”

“Great! Is it typical for this hotel to book a room "directly in front of the elevators" when we use it? That is first for me. We have another trip next month and have reserved a room at the Radisson resort-port Canaveral.”
